Then, Marc got the word from Rose who spotted the cloaked figure.
"I almost didn't see him, he's really well hidden. Marc we wait on your word."
Marc paused before pandarus could get out the backstage.
"..So you actually had to capture those creatures?"
Pandarus flipped his hand in the air.
"Not really, that was my associates doing, i simply removed the priceless things from them and left them to their fate."
Marc froze and flashed his coldest smile ever.
"Hmm, well, that is rather sad for you. I was going to leave you to them, but I have a much more promising treat for you."
Pandarus wasn't listening and only heard one part.
"Treat you say?"
Before he could do anything Marc grabbed him by the scruff of his shirt.
"Beg for mercy, because you're very much not going to get it."
Pandarus's life Essence and magic was drained into Marc's necklace before a clawed hand separated the two. Jake knocked Pandarus out and turned to Marc who was clenching his fists staring at the ground. Jake put a hand to his face rubbing it.
"He will pay, the magic council will make sure of it. I will."
Marc gave a sad smile but nodded. He raised an eyebrow at Jake.
"It's odd to have you be taller."
Jake squinted his eyes and smacked Marc with his tail. Marc gasped at him at mock astonishment.
"At least take me out on a proper date!"
Before Jake could quip back Spud voice cut through the feed.
"Uh, you two lovebirds done, trixie wants you all to know that we need to put the plan into action. You two are really cute by the way. Proud of you jake-ow! What it's amazing they can have a open relat-'

His voice was cut off by what Jake assumed was trixie. Jake nodded to Marc who went to the crate and helped carry it out of there.
"Jake..the guy is heading backstage, waiters interfere!"
Marc was having no problem carrying it but then they stumbled upon cages with creatures. Jake had to take a calming breath before he ripped apart everyone in the building. Marc gave his arm a squeeze and perked up at a thought.
"Think you can summon Lynn again? She will understand."
Jake nodded and made sure to call through the emergency call. Lynn appeared in the next few seconds ready to fight before pausing to look. Her eyes hardened at the sight of the creatures in cages and nodded at Jake. Lynn took off her badana, acting as a hair band. Her special charm for stronger magic.
"Alright, lets do this. Eerf eht devalsne dna evres ecitsuj!"
She said as her eyes and hands glowed. Then all the creatures got out and went out to the building. Serving justice to the rotten people who enslaved them. Lynn helped packed everything up. Jake had to call the council and report what he..went through. Rose gave Marc a hug.
"I know it wasn't easy, but we served their oppressors justice."
Marc sighed and nodded.
"..I am here on land to prove my people that the land is no danger. Yet, this happens and I'm now reconsidering.."
Rose smiled empathetically.
"I mean, you were right to believe that the land doesn't pose much of a danger. This is actually the first time in years that sea hybrid fins are being sold. Maybe there's more to this.."
Marc paused and squinted his eyes in thought.
"Did we apprehend that cloaked man?"

Rose nodded. She brought him to where Trixie and Spud were holding him before a large bang was heard. Rose ran in with Marc not to far behind and saw the cloaked figure running away. Rose gave chase and Jake came in a few moments after the chase began.
"The Cloaked figure ran off, Rose is giving chase but we should help."
Jake nodded and Marc got on his back with ease. They flew off and found Rose being knocked down.
"Rose! You okay?"
"Go after him, I'll be fine!"
They did so and Marc decided to do something risky.
"I need you to trust me."
"Always."
"When I fall, don't catch me."
Jake was about to object but Marc was already jumping off him. Jake decided to trust him. It just felt right. Marc landed on top of the cloaked figure and Jake flew down to them. Marc took off the cloak and gasped in shock.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
