"You are a girl right?" Blaze questioned playfully as he once again invaded her private world. At moments like this, she wished that she picked any other man to play the role of her fake husband. Yet here she is stuck with a chatty social butterfly who couldn't skip away and let her be. Taking off her earbuds , she looked his way with the laziest expression she could master. Lately, he have been planing something for one of his dates and he bothered her with endless questions. No matter what she did to ignore him, he will always end up convincing her to help.

"Your question?" Alexa replied with a cold tone owning herself a chuckle from Blaze. He liked to get on her nerves that's one assured fact. She does not hate him though he is very friendly and unlike other men she previously known he respects women in his own twisted ways.

"So what would a girl love more a watch or a bracelet ? " he questioned pulling his phone and swiping back and forth between two pictures a golden watch and a butterfly golden bracelet

"So is this a new kind of payment for the services that you are getting?" He knew that she hated his flings and one nightstands. She thinks that he is disrespectful of women and that he is using them just to please his sexual needs and hunger. That might be correct and valid yet only to some degree; he ; from the very start, tells his dates that he is not up to anything serious. Their date can be a simple dinner out or a whole night thing. His dates are the ones that pick and choose.

"It is no payment and I do not get services. The women that I date are free to come back with me or leave...You should know me better by now Lexi." Blaze winced playfully at her and looked her way revealing his blue puppy dog eyes. She can clearly see why he is wanted between women even for just a one nightstand. It is actually prideful to some women to say that they have been kissed and taken by such a handsome man

"The bracelet looks cuter." She answered trying to end this nonsensical conversation and he grind at her showing his pearly whites.

"Thanks for the help, Lexi. I am sure Vera will love it." He happily said and suddenly hugged Alexa bringing her surprised stiffening body close to him. He is a man of affection and he likes to hug people or girls in specific that's one of the things that Alexa noticed since they started to talk and stopped being silent strangers.

"You are still trying to convince that model? " Alexa mumbled still in his hands and looked up at him. He didn't seem bothered by the new closeness between them. He also didn't look distracted at all when he met her eyes but she was lost, looking in his sea foam eyes would always make her feel strange and giddy.

"Once the models come for their fashion weeks my friends and I make bets; whoever sleeps with the hottest girl will get whatever car he wants from the others' collections. Vera is by far the hottest model so I need to convince her." Blaze explained his hands still surrounding Alexa

"But you are objectifying Vera that way. You are using her and sugaring the way for her to fall in your traps. It is like you have no respect whatsoever for her. She is not a toy you know? You can break her heart if you just sleep with her for a bet. She might fall for you but you would never know...You truly are being a jerk." Alexa commented as she wiggled to withdraw out of his hands and pointed at him a blaming finger

"I , my dear Alexa, am an honest man and not a jerk." he said capturing her finger and wiggling it lightly in the air " I told Vera the whole story and she said that it sounds fun. She gave me the opportunity to take her on few dates while she is here and by the end if I have been a gentleman , a fun one , she might end up sleeping with me." Blaze explained finally letting go of her finger

"You guys are weird. I would never be able to do what you do without catching feelings. Intimacy shouldn't be a game to play or win. You should wait for that special person to come and once you find it , you start being intimate and explore things with them. Love must come first. Yet here you guys are just acting on mere instincts and fun...I don't like that." Alexa replied and tried to push Blaze off of the couch so she can lay down again and just listen to her favorite songs while drinking her coffee

"Why lose years trying to find that special someone and always risk different what ifs...What if they don't feel the same way? What if you don't meet their criteria of sexy or hot? What if they already found another special person and you were late? What if you never find them and lose your whole life trying? Life should be fun and we must make the best out of it. Sitting on a couch the whole day won't get you anything." Blaze commented with the same disapproving tone

"I will take those risks to live just an hour with the right person." Alexa said as her head fell on her pillow again

"One hour after losing twenty five year? That's a lost from my prescriptive. " Blaze honestly said

"Well, sharing your first time and feeling love instead of hunger while doing it will make the wait worth it." Alexa said not looking at Blaze even once. They were from different worlds and arguing with him will always lead to nothing. She tried to fix his view of the world plenty of times but he was stubborn and still is...He is a man of instincts and she is a woman of feelings both don't mix.

"Love can be faked." He retorted

"Orgasmes too." she said feeling a bit shy around him but she wanted to make a point.

"That can never happen with me around." He responded confidently

"Sure thing just go buy your stupid bracelet" she hushed unconvinced and turned the music up ignoring whatever said after that. They are from obviously drastically different worlds and their minds won't meet even if they converse for endless eternities.
