《Growing Attached To My Competition ✔️》Chapter 34 - The Window
Advertisement
After getting help from the taxi driver to bring a passed out Adam to his door, to be greeted by his unimpressed father for getting into such state, Brody was back in the taxi.
"So, same address that lady gave me earlier?"
Brody seemed to alert himself awake, "Actually no, somewhere else."
~~~~~~~~~~
Brody was now climbing the plant fence that was attached to the side of Adrian's house. Manoeuvring his way up the scaffolding, he saw that he had the right room as he could see the back of Adrian's head, all tucked up in bed.
A rational Brody knew it was a bad idea, it was extremely late, he reeked of alcohol and this whole scenario could even be seen as a bit disturbing.
But a drunk Brody focussed more on his impulses as he selfishly knocked on the window.
Adrian was still asleep so Brody's knock on the window became more persistent as he started shivering from being out in the cold, still drunk and now starting to regret his actions.
A rattled Adrian turned to the sound of the relentless noise. Rubbing his eyes gently, Adrian was startled to see Brody, smiling at him through the window.
"Adrian!" Brody called out in a hushed whisper.
"Fucking hell!" Adrian vented out loud. He was frustrated and confused from being woken up from his sleep. Seeing his stupid boyfriend in the middle of the night, at his window, which was on another floor, was stupid.
Yawning first, Adrian began speaking to Brody through the glass window. "What are you even doing here Brody? And why did you climb up there?"
Brody could only goofily smile at Adrian. "I forgot!" Brody said it quite loudly that Adrian was concerned all of his neighbour heard the disturbance.
"Sshhhh! The neighbours will freak out seeing a strange guy outside my window. And couldn't you just ring me? Or something else, I don't know, normal?"
"I remember now!" Brody tapped on the window enthusiastically. "I just wanted to see you." Brody began to shiver more as he wrapped himself in his own arms, now slightly sheepish at his bold behaviour.
Adrian was foolishly happy at the cheese ball in front of him. 'Damn you Sinclair.'
"And that couldn't wait until tomorrow?" He genuinely asked Brody.
"Why wait tomorrow? I wanted to see you now!" Brody cheerfully admitted.
Adrian was tired and still loving all of this. "Quick, get in before you get sick," Adrian opened the window to let his boyfriend climb through.
Brody stumbled through the window, making his way to Adrian's bed before collapsing on it.
"How drunk are you?" Adrian asked.
Brody lazily held out 7 fingers with his eyes becoming heavy.
"Out of 10? Hard to believe..." Adrian scoffed as he was admiring his boyfriend, coming this far in the middle of night super drunk.
"Shots, at least 7, about an hour ago."
By how delayed he was speaking, Adrian decided it would just be easier for Brody to sleep here. "Let's just go to sleep."
Adrian removed Brody's shoes who lazily assisted Adrian in doing so. Adrian then thought Brody would be uncomfortable in sleeping in his current clothes, "Umm, are you going to sleep like that?"
A confident Brody was back as he smirked at the question, still not looking at anything with his eyes now closed. "Want to help me strip?"
Even though that peaked his interests, Adrian was too tired as he still had to get up early tomorrow. "Another time."
Adrian dragged Brody into a more comfortable position on the bed. He then went to get a bucket from the bathroom in case Brody would be sick, and grabbed a glass of water to place on the bedside for him.
The second Adrian settled himself in bed, Brody repositioned himself to lay his head on Adrian's chest.
"So comfy."
Brody then wrapped his arms around Adrian's torso, holding him within his grasp.
Adrian closed his eyes, trying to get himself to fall back asleep when he heard that Brody was still talking out loud to him.
"I was talking, to this girl at the club. And she called me Prince Charming, handsome, and a model."
Adrian didn't know what to make of the information, that some girl was hitting on Brody in the middle of the club. He agrees though, Adrian has seen that Brody has the personality traits that every person would want in a doting boyfriend, and he also has the charming and classic looks to go with it.
Adrian didn't want to get jealous every time someone would hit on Brody and give his boyfriend a compliment, but when the boyfriend openly shared it, it was just confusing.
"And she mentioned, that she wanted to see a picture, of the boy that stole my heart." Brody blindly sought out Adrian's chest as he gently circled the area with his fingertip.
Adrian gulped, with his heart ticking steadily as his emotions became rumbling through his body.
Met with silence, Adrian opened his eyes to look at Brody, who seemed to have fallen asleep after that little love confession.
"Oy, wake up. Finish what you were going to say." Adrian wasn't going to be woken up in the middle of the night, for his boyfriend to climb through his window and disturb his sleep, just to fall asleep on him after confessing that he was hit on by some stranger at a club.
"I'm sleeping." Brody whined.
Adrian laughed to himself, seeing that his night turned slightly ridiculous yet still slightly humorous.
'Hope the hangover is a pain, you ass.' Adrian muttered to himself as he got closer to Brody, with his body being wrapped in Brody's arms again.
LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER (Completed)
Lady Chatterley's Lover is a novel by D. H. Lawrence, first published privately in 1928 in Italy, and in 1929 in France and Australia. An unexpurgated edition was not published openly in the United Kingdom until 1960, when it was the subject of a watershed obscenity trial against the publisher Penguin Books. Penguin won the case, and quickly sold 3 million copies. The book was also banned for obscenity in the United States, Canada, Australia, India and Japan. The book soon became notorious for its story of the physical (and emotional) relationship between a working class man and an upper class woman, its explicit descriptions of sex, and its use of then-unprintable words.
