Mia's pov

"Alpha," I heard my Beta Zack yell.

"In the living room," I called back. He comes in out of breath which leaves me to assume he was running.

He catches his breath and starts to talk, "So you know how you sent me out to find any wolves living in the city?"

"Yes, I wanted all their names on file so if something happens I know where to find them. Why?" I was confused by his question considering I gave him the order this morning. I mean I know I have a bad memory but it is not that bad.

"Well I was following a wolf I found and you will not believe what happened," he says, stopping and looking at me like I can read minds.

"Are you going to tell me?"

"Right, she’s a true Alpha, made me stop dead in my tracks," he replies.

"Are you sure because being a true Alpha is really hard?" I state.

"Yes, even with my rank I stuttered and had to change my pants."

"Amazing, how old?" I ask curious.

"She’s in her twenties." That's really remarkable because true Alpha's are rare but not impossible. Also it normally takes a lifetime to be a true Alpha so I am quite impressed that she's in her twenties. For those that don't know what a true Alpha is, it’s a person who achieves the Alpha rank by earning it and being worthy of it. I am a normal Alpha. My Alpha rank was passed down to me from my dad. I did go through tests to make sure I would be a good Alpha but nothing as hard as being a true Alpha.

I turn to my Beta. "I would like to meet her," I told him.

"Alpha, she went to bed."

"Okay, so tomorrow we will go," I tell him and walk to my room. I can't wait to meet her and with that thought I fell asleep.
