After visiting Mondstadt, Y/N didn't leave immediately since she wanted to see the natural dandelions on the region, Master Diluc suggested going in front of the gates of Mondstadt City where the dandelions grow.

She spent a good hour just admiring the beauty of the flower before leaving to go back to Liyue Harbor.

Right now, Y/N is sitting at the table at Cloud Retainer's abode.

After asking permission to the Adepti to stay here, she spent the whole morning spaced out.

Well not really...

Y/N noticed that the Fatui are acting more... Quiet.

Something is wrong.

"Something is wrong, mortal." An irritated voice said.

Snapping out of her daze, she looked up and saw the conqueror of demons; Adeptus Xiao standing in front if her.

She tiredly nodded and closed her eyes, "Indeed something is wrong. But I can't seem to pinpoint what is it."

The adeptus sighed and closed his eyes, looking he is in deep thought.

Even if he looks vulnerable right now, she knew that Xiao could easily take her down if she ever land a strike on him.

Just imagining sparring against Xiao made her smile nervously, she would be down in just seconds.

"I feek like it has something to do with the Fatui." Y/N blurt out, sneaking a peak at the Yaksha who nodded.

Uncrossing his arms, "That's true, but somehow I can't really know what will happen soon."

Y/N nodded in agreement.

Xiao stared at her, he got to admit her skills can already surpass Ganyu's abilities.

She could already match the strength of an Adepti. Yet she is holding back at some point, but why?

He let out a scoff before turning around gathering the attention of the girl.

"Keep you guard up. And keep on eye at the Fatuis..." He ordered before vanishing with his abilities.

A new day arrives, but this time something feels off.

She casually walked down Lingju Pass, she was doing her normal routine of patrolling.

She continued walking, and walking, and walking...

'Good thing Yelan's training was a big advantage.'

She thought before smirking...

'And the fatui thought they could hide from me.'

Silently with her cryo vision, a King Chess piece appeared on her clenched fist.

'Fatui agent... Electro Cicin Mage... Mirror Maiden... What an annoying group.'

Stopping her tracks, the Fatui stopped also following her confused why she stopped her path. Usually by this time she would be heading back to the Harbor.

Instead...

Y/N turned around and did a flip backwards, throwing the chess piece on the process aiming at the fatui agent and Cicin Mage who were next to each other.

The two fatui felt paralyzed at the strength of the cryo element, making them move slower.

Landing on her feet, Y/N charged at the Mirror Maiden who almost trapped her with her abilities. A Queen Chess piece appeared on her hands and this time she slammed it down on the ground sending cryo spikes towards the Maiden.

The Maiden panicked not knowing where to go and teleported somewhere she thinks it safe... But what an unlucky day for her.

She teleported right on the lake near them. The Maiden panicked and silently cursing to the Cilestia with her bad luck.

Soon she was immediately frozen by Y/N who used her sword making a slash movement and send a cold cryo wind towards the Maiden.

Thanks to the hydro she will be frozen for some time now.

The Fatui Agent managed to stand back up on his feet before charging at Y/N. The girl snapped her head at the sound of his blades before taking multiple steps back avoiding the blades on the process.

The girl panicked when the agent disappeared, while she tries her best trying to locate where he is, Y/N snapped her head towards the Cicin Mage's direction...

And saw her already passed out on the ground before fading away. Same goes to the Maiden.

'Too much cryo I believe.'

She thought.

Letting her guard down, the Fatui agent kicked her on the back sending her flying.

Her body tumbled to the ground, making the girl feel dizzy as the ache spread through her whole body.

"D-Damn... It..." She groaned trying her best to stand up. But failed.

The Agent slowly walked towards her, preparing his blade to kill her finally.

Lifting his blade in front of the girl, he whispered.

"For... the Tsari-!!!"

Suddenly, a Geo Pillar appeared out of nowhere beside the Fatui Agent causing him to fly away like what happened to Y/N.

A browned hair man swiftly passed her and attacked the Agent who soon fell down and faded away.

The girl blew away the dust that the man caused.

Once cleared, she saw nobody...

'Who was that?' she thought.

Looking around, she picked up her sword.

The ache on her body disappeared, but the Geo Pillar stayed.

Y/N felt the sudden warmth on her chest mentally thanking the mystery man who helped her.

After a few moments, she felt slightly better. This time she was in deep thought.

"Why would the Fatui attack me on purpose. Is it a warning?" She mumbled as she looked at the area that was damaged by the fight.

"Something is wrong... Xiao is right. Oh no... Something big is going so happen. I must go bsck to the Qixing." She stated before sprinting towards Liyue Harbor.

Suddenly...

An arrow was pierced on her back.

"A-Ah!"

She fell down on the ground as she felt her half length black furred coat started soaking with her blood.

She can feel it wasn't deep, but it hurts like hell.

"Ha... Sorry Girlie. I have to stop you for now."
