《The Unwanted Mate (Edward Cullen x OC)》Party Gossip

(Timeskip to Graduation Party)
The following weeks were filled with similar activities, Demetri and Gaia met Sam and Paul in the woods. Demetri and Paul go on walks to have alone time. Sam tries to persuade Gaia to meet the rest of the pack.
Basically, Gaia and Demetri tried to stay clear of the Cullen residence as it was drawing nearer graduation meaning more Bella and Edward. Neither of the royal vampires wanted to be subjected to the pain.
Bella requested Gaia not to be able to attend the party that she assumed would be for her; she even went as far to blackmail Alice that if Gaia was involved, Bella would expose the Cullens for what they are. Unfortunately for Alice, her main priority is her family so she had to comply with the request/blackmail. Edward wasn't even around to hear the blackmail much to Alice's annoyance.
The whole house is decorated to celebrate the graduating class which includes Alice, Jasper and Edward. All the students from their class are at their house after never being invited and the Texan vampire and his mate looked completely lost. They both want their new sister at the party but Gaia left before they could drag her to it.
While the party is in full swing, all vampires turn to each other getting a strong scent of wet dog. All heads turn to the front door as Jacob, Embry and Quil walk in heading straight to the only human in the huddle of vampires. "Congratulations on graduating Bella!" Jacob says as he pulls her into an embrace that lingers longer than a normal friendly embrace. Edward, being the observant person he is, catches this and makes a mental note to continue watching their behaviour when interacting.
"What are you doing here Jake? I thought you wouldn't be allowed to?" Bella questions trying to keep a safe distance between the two. Embry and Quil look incredibly uncomfortable letting all members of the coven know that Jacob dragged them along against their will. "I wouldn't miss a party celebrating you ever." His smug voice carried over the loud music.

Just when Bella was about to speak, a small gasp alerts the coven and Bella that Alice is having a vision. Bella scurries over to the pixie and continuously asks what's happening and if she's in danger. The look in Alice's eye was murderous which the Swan girl didn't catch or chose to ignore. "Alice is it the army?" Bella raises her voice which then alerts the wolves. Jacob quickly blocks the pixie's path with his arm.
"What damn army is she on about leech?" The wolf seethes unknowingly causing the Texas Major to step directly behind him. "Remove your arm from the lady. Now." His low, calm voice was exceptionally deadly sounding causing Jacob to slouch back to his friends. "Well, tell me what's going on!" The wolf tries to redeem himself from seeming cowardly by demanding answers.
Instead of getting them, the two vampires joined the rest of their family and continues to speak about the issue ignoring the human and three shifters that joined them. "They'll get here in four days. We might struggle. We have Demetri and Gaia but I don't think that would be enough. Jasper?" Alice starts explaining but then thinking against it. "With my war knowledge and Gaia's we should have good strategies. Also, she's incredibly smart when it comes to fighting, so is Demetri." The Major starts to voice his thoughts as he paces in a small space with his hands behind his back.
"Who are they after?" Jacob asks finally seeing an opportunity. "They were passing around one of Bella's red blouses." Edward states like it's obvious. "They're after Bella?! The pack will fight." Jacob screeches then promises without even thinking about his Alpha. Thankfully, the Cullen father figure sees the problem "Do you think Sam would help us out? We don't like making decisions like this without the leader accepting." Carlisle tries to explain softly but Jacob just scoffs and rolls his eyes. "Of course he will. I'll tell him we will."

With that being said, Jacob and his two idiotic friends leave after discussing a time and place for training. Unknowing to the whole house, Gaia had a few spies around the residence and when they caught on, they quickly found Gaia who was with Sam.
"Oh god Sam. There is a newborn army coming to kill Bella. Jacob has already said that the pack will fight with the Cullens not even bothering to ask you. He said to Carlisle asking if you were ok with it and I quote 'Of course he will. I'll tell him we will.' I'm going to have fun at this training. Do I have your permission to make fun of him? Expose him in front of the pack and Cullens?" She asks softly looking up at her friend who looked ready to kill Jacob after hearing what he said to the Cullens.
"Oh Gaia you could kill him and you would have my ok. He's done nothing but rant about Bella since he found out about the car incident last year. He wasn't even a wolf then!" Sam continues his rant about how Jacob annoys him and the pack, unknowingly doing the same thing Paul done a few weeks into her and the Gamma's friendship.
"Training is tomorrow at a clearing nearby. I would suggest the pack stay in wolf form. I'll bring Demetri to make Paul happy and i'll translate if you don't wish to use Edward." The princess stands and hugs the Alpha tightly. "You're an amazing Alpha. That child is just too dumb for his own good. I'll make him regret it." She leans up and kisses his cheek before skipping away leaving Sam very happy with having their friendship.
