I'm looking at my mother with a blank stare.

She is sitting on a bed with chains, in a cell. Screaming and tossing around.

"Let me go! Do you know who I am? He's going to fucking kill you all! You dirt of creatures!" she basically screams the same over and over.

Does she not know who I am?

"Why the fuck am I here?" she looks at Leif next to me, "I know what you do." she squints her eyes, "so if you are planning on killing me , then do it."

"No body wants you dead lady," Leif says, "we just need some talk and then I will return you."

"Talk about what?" She screams.

"Can you calm down? We don't want to hurt you." Leif sighs, "she's really annoying, Bay." he whispers to me.

I give him a half smile.

"Don't you recognize me?" I ask her.

"Why would I?" she says looking me up and down with disgust.

"Really? Not a single guess?" I ask again.

"NO. I don't do friends with vampires."

"But I'm not a vampire." I say, "I'm a hybrid."

Her ears twitch a bit. "Hybrid you say?" she looks at me.

"Yes. Do you know any hybrids?" I ask her.

"Wolf and fairy hybrid." I add to it.

She thinks about it. "How old are you know?"

"Twenty two." I gulp down.

She straightens her back. "Hm, so ... are you-?"

"I'm your son, mom. Baylor. I can't belive you didn't even recognize me. I look the same." I look at her.

"The UNCLE as your mother mentioned. Any confessions about that, Magnolia?" he asks her.

She scoffs. "Why would I tell something to a vampire? Did you kidnapp my son too?!"

"MOm, shut up." I tell her, "Leif saved me from hunters and he's my ... he's- my boyfriend." I say with a beating heart. He snaps his head at me, "and I'm not your son. Not since you gave me away."

"YOu are dating a vampire! This can't get any worse!" she screams.

"Okay, like Bay said, shut up, lady. We are talking. No confessions about Rufus? Fine, then I will spill the tea.

Bay- I found out that your mother is a liar."

"Clearly." I roll my eyes.

"Rufus is not your uncle." he says.

"Is he my dad?" I ask with wide eyes. I've beent thinking about it."

I frown. "My REAL uncle. Wait- the hybrid he said he was in love with ... it was a man?" I ask.

"Yes. Your uncle was a hybrid and he was killed. Rufus stayed and raised you."

"Mom, is it true?" I turn to her.

"Well it's not my fault he never told you the truth. Don't blame me."

"How is it uncles ... Rufus' fault? Who knows what YOU told him when you left."
