As the group sat waiting for their flight,they all had to agree that they were about to have one of the most amazing experiences of their lives so far.

"Can't wait for this" Dec giggled.

"Yeah me neither" Ant nodded "not looking forward to a day on a plane though"

"He doesn't like flying Ali" Dec informed their new manager.

"Really?" Ali replied "I love flying"

"Yeah,me too" Dec grinned "especially the turbulence,that's great fun"

"Yeah,alright Declan" Ant frowned "I know how much my fear of flying amuses you,has done for years hasn't it?"

"Yeah it has" Dec laughed "remember when you came to Ireland with us?I've never seen anyone so petrified to get on a plane"

"Yeah,and didn't you milk it for all it was worth?" Ant moaned.

"Declan,you didn't?" Ali asked shocked.

"Yeah,he did" Ant replied before Dec had the chance "took the piss out of me something Chronic he did,knowing how scared I was"

"That was a very mean thing to do Dec" Ali scolded.

"What?I was just a kid" Dec shrugged innocently "that's what kids do"

"You're still a kid" Clare joked.

"Not when I'm in the bedroom eh pet?" Dec winked.

"DECLAN" Clare snapped embarrassed "stop that"

"Anyway" Dec returned to the original argument "I apologised in the end didn't I?"

"Yeah ya did" Ant agreed.

"And I've helped keep you calm on other flights haven't I?" Dec continued.

"Yeah,ya have,that's true" Ant smiled.

"Don't worry sweetheart" Lisa said soothingly "we'll all help you out if you need it"

"Thanks" Ant smiled "but I'm sure I'll be fine,I'm so much better than I used to be now I've got used to flying,it's just such a long time up in the air"

"Yeah it is" Ali nodded "but you'll get used to it and first class air travel is pretty amazing,they'll be spoiling us the whole way"

"Can't wait for that" Dec grinned "will be like a five star hotel"

"Yeah,it will" Ali mused "and Ant,don't forget that you'll be asleep for a lot of it,the beds are pretty comfy and remember that we'll be stopping off in Singapore to refuel,that'll break the monotony up a bit"

"You've obviously done this trip a lot Ali?" Clare enquired.

"Yeah,I have" Ali replied "at least two or three times every year,but I tell you what guys"

"What?" Ant,Dec,Lisa and Clare all replied in unison,which caused all five of the group to giggle.

"You're all going to love Australia" Ali beamed.

"Oh,we definitely will" Ant smiled "except for the wildlife maybe"

Ant cringed at some of the stories he and Dec had been told about spiders the size of their hands.He could cope with just about any creepy crawlie,but spiders?that was probably an even deeper phobia than his fear of flying.

"I've heard that these huge spiders come up the toilet and bite your bum while you're sitting on the loo" Dec stated seriously.

"Who told you that?" Ali laughed.

"Can't remember now" Dec shrugged.

"No Declan" Ali rolled her eyes at Dec "spiders do not come up the toilet and bite your bum"

"What about birds?" Clare asked "Dec is terrified of birds"

"Umm,Dec" Ali tried to keep a serious face "even England has lots of birds you know,they're not only native to Australia"

"Yes,I know that" Dec replied "but you might have different types of birds,bigger ones,more aggressive ones,I don't know"

"More aggressive?" Ant laughed "Dec,you'd be scared of a hummingbird"

"Aww,they're beautiful little birds" Lisa stated "so tiny and cute"

"Lisa,the words birds and beautiful should never be used in the same sentence thank you very much" Dec stated sternly.

"You two big babies aren't gonna last five minutes in Oz at this rate" Ali laughed.

"Shut up" Dec replied playfully,although he actually was very worried about what creatures they may stumble upon once they were there.

"I tell you what boys" Ali grinned.

"What?" They asked curiously.

"If by chance either of you find a spider crawling up your toilet with it's fangs poised for a taste of your behind or if one of you find an emu taking a dip in your bath,I promise I'll come and rescue you ok?"

"Ok" Ant laughed "I'm not scared of emus though,he can stay"

"So" Dec stated,eager to steer the subject away from things that scare him "what do you think of the title for the programme?"

"I like it" Ant replied "Took them long enough to think of it though didn't it?"

"Yeah" Dec smiled "I'm a celebrity,get me out of here,it's so good,there's no other shows with a title like that"

"There's no other shows like that" Ali pointed out.

"Yeah,that's true" Ant agreed "apparently they've been working on this idea for the best part of a year.Can't wait to put these celebrities through their paces,it's going to be hilarious"

The sound of a text message arriving on Decs phone,soon distracted everyone from the conversation as they observed the grin on his face.

"Who is it?" Ant enquired curiously.

"Stephen" Dec beamed "just telling us to have a great time and that he'll be watching the show"

At that moment,Ants phone beeped as he received exactly the same message.

"Remember when Stephen was on SM:TV?" Ant grinned "you really didn't like him in the beginning did you?"

"Really?" Ali asked surprised.

"Nah" Dec replied "thought he was odd,couldn't imagine being pals with him"

"And yet look at us now" Ant laughed.

"Yeah,look at us now" Dec laughed, knowing that he,Ant and Stephen were now the best of friends "he is actually a very decent bloke and probably the funniest person I know"

"Hey" Ant replied offended.

"Second funniest person I know" Dec quipped much to everyones amusement "come to think of it,I think it was him who told me about the spiders in the toilet"

"Why doesn't that surprise me?" Ali laughed,she had also become extremely fond of Stephen during the short amount of time that she'd known him and loved his daft sense of humour.

"We must get him round for dinner when we get back" Lisa suggested.

"Definitely" Ant smiled and nodded towards Dec "might let this littlen tag along too"

Everyone spent the next couple of hours or so carrying on with the good hearted banter and being served with endless drinks and snacks from the very attentive staff,until it was finally time for them to board their flight.

"Very nice" Ant stated as he looked around the first class area before getting comfortable in his spacious seat "this is going to be a pretty good flight after all"

"Yeah" Dec nodded towards the rear of the plane "feel a bit sorry for the crew having to travel back there,but not too much"

"They'll be fine" Ant laughed "we can't all be treated like royalty can we?"

So after a very long,uneventful journey,the exhausted group finally arrived at the luxury hotel in Australia where everyone had been booked into for the duration of their stay.

"Wow,look at this" Dec stated as everyone glanced around the lobby of the beautiful hotel.

"Fantastic isn't it?" Ali replied,amused at all of the incredulous looks on the groups faces "you guys go and relax over there while I get everyone checked in,I need all your passports"

Ant and Dec loved this side of being managed,having someone else to do the tedious jobs for them,like checking in at hotels was always a bonus.

The large group were soon being escorted to their rooms by the concierge and everyone marvelled at where they would be staying for the next few weeks.

"Aaaarrrggghhh Ant" Ant was surprised by his girlfriends shrill shriek.

"What on earth is it Lisa?" He asked "what are you yelling about?"

"Look,there" Lisa pointed towards a small creature at the bottom of the wall.

"Aww Lisa" Ant smiled "it's just a little lizard or something,nothing to be scared of,he's harmless"

"I don't care" Lisa snapped "I don't want to share a room with it,get rid of it will you?"

"I think he's quite cute" Ant replied "he's so tiny,he's not going to hurt you"

"Funnily enough" Lisa retorted "spiders are pretty small too,but you don't have that attitude towards them"

"Ugh" Ant shuddered "don't even mention them again,they're nasty,hairy,ugly little beasties,nothing like Michael here"

"Michael?" Lisa asked curiously.

"Yeah,you know?" Ant grinned "as in my ickle gecko,say it fast and it sounds like Michael gecko,clever eh?"

"You're such an idiot" Lisa mumbled.

"You're just jealous cos you didn't think of it" Ant grinned.

"Hardly" Lisa rolled her eyes at her ridiculous boyfriend "just get rid of it"

"But I quite like it" Ant smiled "he's not doing any harm,why don't we just leave him be and I bet he won't even move the whole time we're here"

"Well,you're having that side of the bed then" Lisa insisted.

"Of course" Ant smiled "then I'll be able to keep an eye on my new pet"

"If it moves even an inch,then you put it outside right?" Lisa ordered.

"Ok,ok" Ant frowned and leant towards the tiny creature "don't worry Michael,she'll learn to love you before long,just like I do"

"Such an idiot" Lisa stated once again as she started to unpack her suitcases.

"Can't wait to show him to Dec" Ant grinned.

Lisa ignored that comment and got on with the task in hand.

The whole group of everyone involved with 'I'm a celebrity' and any of their partners who were accompanying them on the trip,had arranged to meet in the hotel lounge downstairs for cocktails,providing they weren't too tired.Some people decided to give it a miss for that very reason and went straight to bed,but most of the group didn't take much persuading

Ant and Dec hadn't yet been informed which celebrities would be starring in the programme,but the producer had promised to make the big reveal that evening.

As they all got together over drinks,Ant and Dec were handed a list which Ant dutifully read out to the group.

"Tony Blackburn,Rhona Cameron,Tara Palmer-Tomkinson,Christine Hamilton,Nell McAndrew,Darren Day,Nigel Benn and Uri Geller" Ant listed the celebrities who may have just temporarily lost their minds by agreeing to do this crazy programme.

"Interesting mix of people" Dec said thoughtfully "some strong personalities there,I wonder if they'll all get on?"

"I hope not" Ant grinned.

"What?what do you mean?" Dec asked surprised at this unexpected side to Ant.

"Think about it Decs" Ant smiled "it's the arguing and getting on each others nerves that will make it entertaining for the audience,look at Big Brother"

"Yeah,good point" Dec nodded "and the Bush tucker trials of course,can't wait for them"

Everyone nodded in agreement at that thought.

"So" Ant grinned

"Being on the bickering celebrities!"
