《Jurassic Park: The Beginning of the End/Life Of Crusher, Feared T-Rex》Jurassic Park part 5: A New Beginning

After the satisfaction of destroying their supposed threat, Crusher went on his way, exploring, but he started to feel hungry, so he went away to hunt for the night, to make up for lost time, Rexy at first didn't notice it until she turns around, only for the bull Rex to vanish into the distance, his footsteps retreating, while she stayed behind a little longer to explore her newfound territory. Only to follow the bull Rex later on eventually.
Crusher was in some sort of desperation for something to eat, as he thundered through the forest while bellowing loudly. Behind him, the female from earlier started to secretly follow him, as he caught her scent, but said nothing as he continues on forward to look for any prey sources to hunt.
"Why are you following me, Rexy? Shouldn't you be off exploring your territory by now?" Asked a puzzled tyrant lizard king. Rexy responded with something of a mixture of concern and indifference. "I noticed you haven't eaten at all since your arrival here, and didn't show up until when the power was off. And I did notice that you were, what those two legged hairy creatures call it, 'blushing' when I was there, but you turned away. Why is that?"
As Crusher and Rexy continued on their way, despite avoiding even saying the reason why, he quietly responded, "When I was back on Sorna, which was more diverse, I was the largest and most feared of our kind there, most terrifying and ruthless of them all. Even the other meat eaters also wouldn't dare to try to mess with me, as I was just starting to enjoy my kill, those hairy legged creatures tranq'd me and brought me here. So I held a grudge against them for that. I'm used to my solitude and independence."

"Oh, I see. How come you can still see them when I can't?" Rexy asked curiously.
"Possibly because you are the only one, of our kind, to have this kind of issue, but at least you don't have any trouble using your other senses, Rexy.
Speaking of, I need to hunt. If you want to tag along, of course."
"I don't know, newcomer, but I must chase off those rodents out of my territory before I can even think about joining you on a hunt tonight."
"Hopefully, erm, you find your way back home again. Which is unlikely considering this island to be far away from where you were from." Rexy replied, as Crusher went on his way to go make a kill right away to make up for not being able to finish his meal back on Sorna, where he calls it home.
Despite the female Tyrannosaurus Rex trying to resist having some sort of feelings for the bull Tyrannosaurus, she pushed on, going back to where the car was knocked over, letting out a loud roar, of which that was heard by the two humans in yellow.
Muldoon and Sattler were searching for any survivors of the attack from the Tyrannosaurus and the new arrival, noted grimly that with the power shut off, the two adult Tyrannosaurus can wander in and out of any paddock they like to when finding prey. They didn't find anything except for some of Gennaro's body parts with a grim picture in their minds of what might had happened a few hours ago when it was pouring.
"I think this was Gennaro's." Muldoon replied grimly. "I think this was too." Sattler responded.
Then they perked their heads up to hear the loud roar of the T-Rex from the distance, fortunately, they found an injured Ian Malcolm, who was flung over by the two adult Tyrannosaurus a few hours ago.

"Remind me to thank John for a lovely weekend." Then another loud roar was heard, but this time, the roar was even more louder, and terrifying as the ground began to shake.
As the footsteps collided with the earth, a worn out Malcolm looks down after the first impact tremor of the thumping noise, following another, then another, and another.
"Anybody hear that? It's a um, (loud thump) it's an impact tremor, it's what it is. I'm fairly alarmed here."
Notioning for Sattler and Muldoon to get back in the jeep and make a run for it quickly and drove away, just as the female Tyrannosaurus bursts out of the trees, bellowing after it's supposed prey, and chasing them.
"Must go faster!" Malcolm called out, before turning his attention to the T-Rex, who was inching closer and closer to the fleeing jeep, growling.
"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Yelled a surprised and terrified Dr. Sattler as Muldoon did his best to drive as quickly as he can, with the Tyrannosaurus getting even more closer, roaring loudly, as Malcolm inched away towards the driving stick on the jeep.
"Get off the stick, let me move!" Muldoon yelled, before Sattler turns around, telling everyone to watch out as they duck under the tree, with the Tyrannosaurus bashing right through it, but eventually, they got away, as Rexy gave up, letting them escape, with an irritated yet satisfied roar.
Not far away, Dr. Grant, Lex, and Tim went to take shelter on a tree, noting that eventually that in time if he weren't able to dig up fossils anymore, he will just have to evolve as well, while in the distance, the Brachiosaurus were singing and munching on the plants and leaves. As Dr. Grant's raptor claw, a fossil, is dropped to the ground.

Leaves of Terranthir
DISCONTINUED - I won't be writing more of this fiction. Check out the latest post for a worlbuilding summary / final thoughts. Leaves of Terranthir is a gamelit blend of ARPG, action, fantasy, and slice of life. It's inspired in part by some of my favourite games, borrowing in themes, sense of exploration, and aesthetics from the Soulsborne and soulslike genre, mixed heavily with arpg itemization from Diablo/PoE style games. While many may remember their Soulslike experiences as nothing more than suffering, I personally loved the sense of progression, to prevail over challenges and monsters that seemed impossible to defeat at first. If any of that seems interesting to you, do check out the first chapter and let me know what you think. Cheers, and thanks for reading. Cover by Baconstrap.

Vemödalen: From The Other Side
War is coming - And when it comes - And where it comes - And whence it comes - The living shall envy the dead One to carry their sword in the name of their goddess and lady, to protect their land and people against the threat of the wicked. They know their path to be the righteous one. One to roam the land, hunting for all apparitions, and be scorned by man and beast alike. They know their path to be an arduous one. One to wander the realm in search of power, to protect themselves and what they believe in. They know their path to be the only one. Writers note: The first chapter will set the standard in terms of mood for the remainder of the story. It also comes to no surprise to me that half the people who read the first part stop reading any further. It has quite a bit of the good ‘ol ‘ultra-violence’ mixed with a great deal of realism. As much as I could fit into it from my own knowledge and experience in the elite forces. The first few chapters will be slow, after, but starting from ‘Restless Destroyer’ the remainder of the world will start to open up, and when we hit ‘Adronitis’ the prologue is largely finished. The novel is well thought out and filled with hidden lore, culture, history. So even if my word choice appears random – it’s not. There is a reason why these chapters take as long as they do. Vermodalen is fantasy adventure, with magic and heroics in an as realistic setting as I could fit. Things are rarely what they seem, and the ugly nature of people bleed through the letters at the turn of every page. I hope you can give this story a fair chance, even if it isn’t immediately to your taste. Lastly, english isn't my first language. It isn't my second one either. So, if you find errors in grammer and spelling, wordplay and sentance building, do let me know, and you will be rewarded by a surge of dopamine that will be released inside your brain for helping someone whom you haven't even seen or heard.
