This is it, I am all ready for the ball and it's freaking me out. I have to socialize with every single Alpha and Luna of each pack. I don't unusually get nervous like this but when do I usually become future Queen of all werewolves.

I am wearing a beautiful lace black ball gown and I am all ready, Elise told me we are waiting for Xavier to come get me. We're being introduced together as a couple and I tried to get Elise to put foundation on my mark but she wouldn't.

She laughed at me very loudly when I asked her to.

He's here.

"The prince is here, I can walk out the room on my own, Thank you." I say and turn to open the door.

There goes Prince Charming with a devilish smirk. His hair looks so soft, he wearing a black suit and he couldn't look more handsome.

Ever since he marked me all I've been thinking about is his touch. Him standing there is turning me on and I know he can sense it, he reaches for my hand. He brings it up towards his mouth and his soft tender lips and kiss my hand.

"No words can describe how your beauty puts me in a trance." My stomach has instant butterflies as he finishes his sentence.

He smirks knowing how his words affects me, I smile and he grabs my waist and we walk to exit our floor.

My feet are in pain and I have been dancing for about an hour. I cannot wait to take these off of me, I have danced with Xavier countless times. Each time we dance we were watched silently, I could feel eyes on me every single second.

The king and Queen had been sitting on their thrones and chatting to themselves quietly. I could the queens stare on me all night, it was nerve wracking. I feel Xavier hand touch my back and he comes to kiss my cheek.

"Lia, ever since the ball has started all you have done is dance and sulk in a dark corner." He says to me in a stupid princely smirk.

"It's where I belong, it's too many people are here and I am tired of being gawked at." I say while smiling through my teeth because I see a few people looking.

"Well people gawking at you is apart of your job now your highnesses." He says to me with a little annoyance.

I turn so quickly to face him and hit with those honey eyes that drown me every second I stare into them.

"Don't take that tone with your Queen." I don't know why I said it but it felt like Kat had some influence into it.

He was about to reply when a screaming ripped in the middle of our conversation and I immediately knew something was wrong. I hurriedly kicked off my painful heels.

I feel Xavier's arms wrap tightly around me and I scan the room to find the cause of the screaming.

I see a huge grey wolf attacking the palace staff, I can feel Xavier's panic and anger. There were about five vicious brown rogues that were attacking.

"Go and run as fast as you can to you room. Lock and barricade your door until I come." Xavier shouted at me and I almost punched him right then and there. I ripped from is tight grip and glared at him.

"Like hell I will." I yelled at him and ran towards the first brown rogue. I let Kat takeover and began to get into my wolf form. He looked viscous and smiled as if he could smell the power.

Finally, I'm standing in wolf form in front of the disgusting thing that had a palace maid neck in it's mouth. Kat smiles because it's been a long time since we killed a mutt.

The wolf plunges towards me and I move and it knocks agains the hard marble of the ballroom.

Kat storms to it and plunges our teeth straight into the mutts neck and twisted relentlessly until I felt his heart stop beating. All the anger for the past two weeks and a half have flourished our of me and i feel relived.

Moments laters I feel another wolf tackle me to the ground. I push myself up and he moves back and i growled at him. The room smelt like Xavier's wolf and I knew it was him coming.

The wolf is dead in seconds as soon as Xavier had reached him.

I scanned the room and saw that palace Faustus were handling the other three. I decided to change back and so did Xavier.

There was a table next to me and I took the table cloth and covered myself while Xavier glared at me while doing the same.

I look toward where the King and Queen sat and they're nowhere to be found. Everyone seems fine except for the disaster of this attack that left the ballroom in pieces.

"Everyone can go home, we'll have three palace guards for each Luna and Alpha to help them on their journey home." Xavier voice booms throughout the room and I turn my head away from him.

Olivia comes running in, she's wearing a tight green dress with bright green eyeshadow. She looks distressed and he hair was a mess. She had tears coming from her eyes.

She came running towards Xavier and immediately began touching him, he was naked with a table cloth covering him.

She put her arms around his neck immediately, "Are you okay? I was worried and decided to hide." She says to him in a sob.

Xavier takes his eyes off of me and turns his attention to her. I roll my eyes and feel the anger come off of me and I know Xavier can feel it.

He slightly pushed her off of him and she wraps her arms around him again.

"I think he doesn't want you touching him." I say in authorities voice. Olivia slightly jolts and turns around to find the source of my voice.

Her eyes finds mine and she glares at me. Looking a mess with her fake tears and disheveled hair she comes walking towards me.

She leans in towards my ear with a evil smirk that I wanted to smack off but couldn't because, there were people watching and I had to keep a good image according to my etiquette instructor.

"He wanted me touching him when we fucked three weeks ago." Oh how all I could see was red, I wanted to kill her and I wanted to kill Xavier.

I looked around me and saw Alphas and Lunas watching this moment. I know I couldn't throw this blonde bitch towards the marble wall.

I took a deep breath and turned on my heel and walked towards the exit.
