《Reign: The Diary of A Princess》On the Way to Scotland

------------------------
I'm on my way to the pier in France to board my ship, which has many mercenaries and knights. Seeing skilled men with me makes me expect a safe sail back to our country.
The ship is here!
I am so excited to go back!
I've felt tired these past few days, so I decided to sleep for awhile because it was a really long journey from Paris to the French court and now I'm on my way to Scotland.
Hours later, I was woken up because of the waves that were really big crashing against our ship. I got scared because it may have wrecked our ship, but thank God it didn't--we arrived safely.
HOME AT LAST!
I looked at the sky and felt happy that I'm now back here. I went inside my carriage to go see my mother in the castle.
Minutes later, I felt that the carriage had stopped as we were on our way to the court.
"Guards?"
"What's happening?"
"Why are we stopping?"
I checked outside and I saw that one of my guards was dead. I heard a scream. I checked again. There are armed people fighting with my guards. I went out and tried to run and get a horse, but suddenly an armed man pulled me away from the carriage. I punched his nose and got the chance to run, but I stumbled on a fallen tree branch. One of their men saw me and pulled me away from the fight.
The man's associate tied my hands and covered my mouth with a cloth. I tried to fight them, but they just smacked my head so hard that I was slowly losing consciousness. I can't move, but I feel something. There's something happening to me. I cried and begged them to stop, but my head was also throbbing as they hit my head earlier.

Eventually, they stopped. Finally, I finally regained consciousness, but they noticed, so they smacked me again, and another guy went on top of me. I tried to stop it from happening again. Until some men stopped them from harassing and assaulting me. I hope I can thank them, but I can't see them clearly. My vision was already blurry.
Little did Alexandra know, a villager went to the court to tell them that there was a carriage and killings happening inside the forest on the way to the castle.
Queen Mary got alarmed and sent armed men to check it. She followed her men, seeing the carriage empty and their men dead.
I heard my mother was already crying and shouting my name.
"Alexandra!"
"Alex, where are you?"
But I can't move and I can't even talk. Until I felt someone touch me and shout, "She's here!" he shouted.
"The princess is here!"
My mother hugged me tight, but I backed away. I got traumatized by what happened to me.
She stared at me with mixed emotions, which were visible in her eyes—she was trying to figure out what to do. My mother felt like she got the idea of what happened to me, then her tears dropped. She tried so hard not to show it to me, but I certainly saw it.
"Take the princess to the carriage."
"Take our men with us."
"And those merciless enemies"
"Dead or alive"
