I woke up early for the gown fittings for tomorrow's wedding. Some guests already arrived from different countries and they either were assigned to the chambers in the castle or if not, rented a chateaux.

"Alexandra!"

"The French are here"

Belle said

"Grandmother's there?"

"With who?"

"She's with King Charles and Princess Claude with his husband"

Rebekah said

"He's with Luc? Seems like they've worked things out"

"As of now, the French, Italians, the Dutch, Germans and some English have already arrived"

Anne came and said

"Alex"

"King Charles is looking for you"

I came to him

"Uncle Charles!"

"Welcome"

I said

"Oh come here!"

"Give me a hug"

"I missed you my not so little niece anymore"

He laughed

"Where's your-"

"My date?"

"I-I... well we separated and went to our own paths"

"What?"

"Since when?"

"It's been maybe... months?"

"Really?"

"Well, Uncle Charles you need a wife and a queen by your side!"

"Alex..."

"You know what I've been thinking of my status as a king"

"I don't feel having a family like my own"

"Huh?"

"This should be after the wedding but"

"I, personally, want you to be my successor"

"Since I won't have any child"

"Wait! What?"

"Uncle Charles, you have a lot of siblings that'll be next to you"

"I think I can't accept that..."

"Plus, don't you think it's illegal?"

"Shouldn't be by blood succession?"

"You're my niece, daughter of my older brother- the eldest among all Medici-Valois children"

"You should've been the first to sit on the throne before me"

"But Mary came back to Scotland and left France to me"

"Since I am the king, why can't I make it legal?"

"Just for you"

"W-What did Aunt Claude said about this?"

"She doesn't know yet"

"But I know she doesn't have the interest to be the Queen because it's to hassle for her"

"She wants to live normal, you know that"

"How about Aunt Margaret? Uncle Henri?"

"He's with Spain but they do want the crown"

"He'll have it soon, it's the succession"

"She may also be wanting the crown since she already have a normal life"

"But what about grandmother?"

"I know she disapproves my decision having no family of my own"

"But naming you as my successor"

"She'll approve it"

"I'll make the announcement soon"

"We'll visit France after the wedding"

He smiled

Groups of royal families are already arriving the Swedish, Austrians and even my relatives from Spain.

"Aunt Leeza"

"King Philip"

"Tomas"

"Welcome to Scotland!"

I said

"Elisabeth"

Grandmother greeted

"My beautiful niece!"

"Congratulations"

"We brought gifts"

"Oh thank you!"

"King Marco and I appreciate it"

I smiled at her

She talked to my grandmother while King Philip greeted me

"Alexandra"

I laughed

Queen Mary came to us

"How is Spain?"

He said

Tomas said

"Tomas, you're here"

Queen Elisabeth said

"Leeza"

"Good to see you again"

"I'm good"

"I heard of your new babe!"

"Yes! His name is James"

"Since you were my brother's wife"

"And were my sister-in-law"

"Can I still call him my nephew?"

Aunt Leeza asked

"I'm flattered that you want to call my son your nephew"

"It's your choice, Leeza"

"Yes!"

"Great! That's why you're my favorite in-law"

"Always been"

"Whatever happens, Mary is still my daughter-in-law"

"I will still claim James as my grandchild"

Catherine joined in

"Can I see him?"

Leeza said

"Right..."

"Where's James?"

"I haven't seen him"

Grandmother said

"He's in his chambers, playing"

"I'll lead the way, follow me ladies"

Queen Mary said

King Philip and Tomas came with them to see my baby brother

"Alexandra"

Queen Isabella called me

"Yes?"

"Did you check your gown already?"

"Oh god"

"I forgot"

"I'm sorry"

"It's alright, dear"

"It's just I'm too busy talking to the guests"

"Welcoming them"

"I understand"

She smiled

"You go ahead and fit the gown"

"I'll take your place here"

"Thank you!"

I left hurriedly to fit my gown for my wedding

I bumped onto Marco

"Hey"

"You seem exhausted, love"

"I'm sorry"

"I'm in a hurry, Marco"

"I'll talk to you later"

He stopped me

"Alex..."

"Breathe"

I breathe heavily

"Calm yourself"

"Don't tense yourself, okay"

"Where are you going?"

"I forgot to fit my wedding gown"

"I-I was too busy assisting our guests"

"Alex"

"Do what you have to do"

"Queen Mary and my mother already got that"

"Anne, Isabelle, Rebekah and Anastasia are all there to help"

"As well as, Lord James, Philippe and Lady Greer"

"Don't worry"

"We got it"

"Yeah"

"I'll go now"

He nodded

After the fittings, I went to my chambers first to take a rest before going down again to the guests.

There's a lot of people here in the Castle and it's actually overwhelming. I didn't expect they will actually went here for my wedding. Thanks to our countries' alliances- we have a lot of supporters and friends. I still can't believe that the day after tomorrow is already my wedding! There's a lot of preparations we planned and made months ago which is a good thing. Now, I have the whole day to let my guests have fun for awhile. Though some guests- specifically the asian royalties are expected to arrive late since they are at the other side of the Earth.
