As Taehyung quietly unlocked the front door and sneaked back inside the dark and quiet house, he could suddenly feel someone latching onto him from behind, hugging his waist tightly and pressing him against their chest with zero space left between them.
"Jungkook!," he whisper-shouted after letting out a little squeal of surprise, fearing that his parents might hear them and wake up. The figure behind him did not let him go, burying his face in the crook of Taehyung's neck.
The door closed automatically, a little bit louder than the latter would've preferred.
"Oh, shit! We need to hurry into my room or my parents will see us, quick!," the blonde rushed, pulling himself (and the ravenette along with him) towards the stairs leading to his room.
"Baby, you're being paranoid. No one can hear us, relax." Taehyung could feel the soft vibrations of the younger's voice on his neck which sent shivers through his whole body and made him halt in his step.
"W-Why are you suddenly calling me that?," he asked, his cheeks reddening, though not visible as the house was dark.
"I don't know. I love you, you love me. It just slipped," Jungkook mumbled, not changing his position in the slightest and not moving forward either. The older boy sighed.
"Let's talk about this upstairs. We're wet. Soaked, even. And I'm freezing."
The ravenette laughed. "Okay, sure." He let go of Taehyung and took his hand instead, pulling him up the stairs and towards his room.
The older boy felt like he could fly, he would've never thought that he would ever feel happiness like this again.
With all the devastating events that happened recently, he felt like he was getting sucked into a big, dark hole of despair and it felt like he would never be able to escape, no matter how hard he tried.
Then came the party, which had confused him to death and now, he felt like he was finally going to be able to breathe again. To be happy.
As he reached his room, he shivered. "G-God, it's so cold."
He felt a kiss on his nape which calmed him down a bit. "Let's change, you're shivering. I'll get some clothes, you can sit on the bed and undress."
Taehyung stopped shivering for an abrupt moment and gasped in disbelief.
"I am not changing in front of you!" He blushed slightly, making Jungkook grin and wink cheekily.
"Aww, someone is shy. It's okay, just wait until I get some clothes and I can turn around while you change. I just don't want you to be cold anymore."
Wondering why Jungkook wouldn't let him get the clothes himself, Taehyung sat himself on his bed and wrapped his arms around himself in attempt to stop the shivering.
Only a minute later, he could hear q shuffling of feet leading towards his bed and then, he saw the younger boy with two sets of clothes in his hands, gesturing him to take one.

"Thanks." He bowed his head and grabbed a set of fluffy pyjamas, which even included a towel that he didn't even notice at first. He absolutely loved how caring and thoughtful Jungkook was being right now.
After getting him to finally turn around, Taehyung changed out of his wet clothes, gasping at the amount of water that was disposed by him simply taking them off. After rubbing his still soaked body with the towel, he changed into his new, fluffy pyjamas and sighed at the satisfying feeling of finally having on some warm clothes again.
After that, he was the one to turn around for Jungkook to change his clothes and after the ravenette told him to turn around and he did so, he was met with a shocking surprise.
"Oh my god. Wh-Where is your shirt?," he stuttered, extremely flustered.
He could hear the younger boy chuckle, coming a bit closer. "I actually prefer sleeping shirtless, especially after being drained in water. Shirts make me feel a bit uncomfortable, you know? Try not to faint." He laughed as he took in Taehyung's shocked expression.
The blonde shook his head immediately, trying to appear as totally unfazed. "Don't get ahead of yourself, I was just surprised," he giggled, leaning back into his bed and starting to rub his hair with the towel.
He felt Jungkook position himself next to him, grabbing his free head and intertwining his fingers with his own, making the older boy blush.
"Taehyung?," he then asked softly, the adressed stopping the rubbing abruptly and looking up.
"Yes?"
"Can we talk about... us? Like, what are we? What are we going to be?," he asked, his voice in a serious tone. As he lowered his gaze, he met Taehyung's big, round, kind of lost puppy eyes.
After a while, the blonde opened his mouth. "I-- I don't know, Jungkook. I've dreamt of being your boyfriend for over a year by now, but it was just that. Dreams. Actually, I'm kind of scared." He removed his hand from the towel and brought it towards the ravenette's head, carefully stroking his dark, wet hair.
When he was about to pull away, Jungkook kept his hand in place by putting his own one over it.
"Why are you scared?," he whispered, running his thumb over the skin of the other's hand. His voice was full of emotion.
Taehyung let out a breathy sigh. "Imagine we were in a relationship. It would never work, how could it? You saw what happened when Jackson and Chris found out, what if the whole school suddenly knows? We would probably get bullied by everyone until it kills us. Or s-seperates us. People will think we're mentally ill and we deserve to die," he whispered back, his voice filled with desperation and frustration.
To that, Jungkook leaned down and connected their foreheads, so that Taehyung's hand in his hair moved down and now traced his earlobe.
"I am not giving you up for this, not for a bunch of stupid teenagers who take after their shit parents. We can make this work, okay?" The blonde let out a yelp of agony.

"But Kook, what if we get attacked? What if we get harassed to a point we have to break up? What if one of us gets suicidal because of all the pressure? Can we risk all of that? We don't even know what it's like to be in love--" Jungkook stopped his wall of words as he pecked his lips very shortly.
"I know what it's like to be in love and I know you do aswell. I felt it. And I am ready to risk it for you. Everything."
Taehyung sighed, his eyes glistening with unspeakable emotions. "So am I, of course I am. I'm sorry for saying that, I don't even know what I'm saying right now. I'm just really scared. So, please, let's take this slow until we're both ready." Jungkook nodded, standing up and walking towards the light switch, flipping it.
When he came back, he climbed onto the bed again and again, attacked Taehyung from behind and pulled him onto the bed.
"Of course, everything for you. I'm tired, let's cuddle."
The blonde smiled, pulling the fluffy duvet over the both of them and positioning himself on the younger boy's chest.
Feeling the heat radiate from Jungkook's chest, he sighed in satisfaction and let his eyelids droop until he drifted off into the beautiful land of dreams.

"Taehyung! Wake up!"
Said boy blinked, adjusting his eyes to the bright light of the morning and looking around until his eyes landes on a sleeping Jungkook.
Smiling, he lifted his head off the younger's chest and stared at his sleeping face adoringly, fighting the urge to boop his nose and peck his slightly parted lips.
"Over here, Taehyung!," someone then butted in.
Widening his eyes, the blonde quickly snapped his gaze over to the source of the voice, his mother. A puzzled expression on her face and her hands on her hips.
"What's that... boy doing in your bed? Oh my god, is that Jungkook?!" The boy nodded shyly as she peeked over to see his... friend? Lover? Half-lover? He didn't even know.
"Why is he shirtless? Did you have sex last night? I told you to wait until marriage, Taehyung, or at least until you're eighteen!," she shrieked, taking in Jungkook's state.
"Jesus, no! Mom! He came over last night, to sort things out. Our clothes got wet since we stayed in the rain so we changed and he just preferred to stay shirtless!," Taehyung yelped, trying to keep his voice down so Jungkook wouldn't wake up. Or his father.
Oh god, how he hoped his father wouldn't wake up.
"Well, wake him up and tell him to leave, your father will wake up soon and I hope you realize how angry he will be, I really don't want him to get to get violent with you again. Jungkook is welcome anytime, just make sure to stay... undercover, 'kay?" Her voice got softer towards the end.
Her son nodded, stretching his arms above his head. "Okay, fine. Bye, mom," he groaned out, Mrs. Kim smiling and getting ready to exit his room again.
"Oh, by the way." She halted in her step, looking mischievous all of a sudden.
"Are you two together now?" Taehyung rubbed his eyes and giggled happily. "We've decided to take it slow. Maybe soon."
Mrs. Kim smiled fondly, relieved that her son had finally found love, for the first time in his life.
"I hope it'll work out between you two. He makes you so happy, I can clearly see that. But right now, shoo!," she spoke dramatically, winking and this time, leaving for good.
Taehyung sighed, content with his mother's reaction. He then placed a finger on Jungkook's cheek to poke it so he could wake him up but surprisingly found him with his doe eyes open already.
"Oh, I just wanted to wake you up but I guess, no need?," he said nervously, the ravenette giving a blink and a slight smile at that.
"So we have to wait 'til marriage?"
As soon as Taehyung realized what he had meant, he gasped and smacked the younger's bare, well-built chest, being quite speechless.
"You did not! H-How much did you hear?"
"Everything." Jungkook sat up and yawned, resembling a cute bunny which had the blonde curse under his breath. "Everything? Okay then I guess you also know that my father will wake up any moment and I'm very sorry, I want you to stay but--"
"Calm down Tae, I get it. I'll be out in a second, just give me some clothes to change into. The most oversized ones, if you don't mind." That was not a problem for Taehyung since basically everything he owned was oversized.
As quickly as possible, he settled for some loose black pants and a very big, baby blue hoodie.
And as soon as he saw the other boy in that outfit, he couldn't contain his smile.
"You look so cute!," he squealed, fighting the urge to run into his arms and pepper his whole face with kisses.
"Um, I don't know. I look way too innocent, and nerdy." Taehyung slapped his arm with a slight pout on his face.
"I didn't mean it like that, baby. You'd look gorgeous in those clothes. And I really have to run now, I think. I love you." He pulled Taehyung closer by his waist and gave him a short peck on his lips.
"Goodbye!"
As he slid out of Taehyung's window, he blew a kiss to him which the blonde gladly accepted.
When Jungkook was out of sight, Taehyung was left with a racing heart. He felt like screaming, out of joy.
And he realized how much they were acting like a couple already.
What would the future have in store for them?
