《KATANA ~ a MHA fanfic》Chapter 7 - Plan B

Midoriya sat down with the captain and chief of police and began telling them about what his friends had seen. He also told them about the two fighters who had Shigaraki pinned down to the ground and how they disappeared when he and Bakugo arrived. After they discussed the case a little more they came up with a plan to capture at least one of the fighters to see what they knew about the league of villains. They figured that they at least knew something about the disappearance of Zella if they were after them.
"If there's even a slight chance that it was her at the bar, I think we owe it to her family and friends to try and find out more." the captain spoke.
They brought in Midnight and invisible girl and discussed the plan further.

The sisters arrived at their temporary home around the same time.
"Well, I had a crazy night." Anna said as she sat down and sighed.
"Dang what happened? You look tired as shit." Katana said and joined her sister on the couch.
The dark haired assassin began telling her sister about how she got captured and interrogated. She then proceeded to tell her about the picture of the white haired girl. Anna was still confused about it since they never explained why they handed her the photo. She deliberately left out the detail of how the girl looked like Katana, she wanted to focus on the information they had gathered that night and wanted her sister to do the same.
She could have been seeing things since she basically was drugged. It wasn't like it was Katana anyways... right?
They went to their detective board and pinned down some things they had learned while outside. Katana also told her sister about the incident with the little girl and two drunk men. Immediately after that, the girls went to sleep. They were both exhausted.

Katana went into a deep sleep and so did her sister. However, it didn't last long for the white haired girl. A few hours later, she kept waking up from her sleep because of a headache. Confused every time she woke up, she still went back to sleep.
Suddenly, Katana jumped out of the bed screaming. On high alert, her sister went into a fighting stance. That was before she realised Katana was acting up because of something that went on inside her head.
"K-Katana?" the dark haired girl whispered.
The blue eyed girl held her head as if it was going to explode. Eyes were still closed as she struggled to open them. She kept seeing visions of someone as a child, the first time she lost a tooth, the first time she went to an amusement park, her dog and her racing down the street to see who was faster. She could even hear her visions. The dog barking, cars passing by and someone yelling that dinner was ready.
Suddenly, she broke out of it. She fell to the floor and was panting very loud. Her sister immediately rushed to her side and helped her up.
"What was that all about?" she asked worryingly.
"I-I don't know, Anna. It started as a headache but... then for a small period of time, I was somehow dreaming, while awake? But it wasn't like I was making it up in my head myself..." Katana said and sat back down on her bed.
"I'll get you a glass of water. Maybe we should just stay in tomorrow and come up with a solid plan." Anna said and left the room.
"Thank you."

It was the morning after and the girls stood in front of their detective board and went over the information they had.

"Okay so, these are the locations they're around often and this is where their hideout was most recently." Katana said and pointed at the board.
Anna nodded before speaking.
"So if we follow the pattern, this is the area they'll be around right now. The only problem is that it's too big of an area for only the two of us to cover."
"Maybe we shouldn't be following the villains then. Maybe, we should spy on some heroes close to the case and watch them ask civilians about them." Katana suggested.
"Yeah that's a good idea. I think I know two heroes who are on it. You know the ones that captured me? I did some research and came up with someone called Midnight and invisible girl." the dark haired girl said.
"They must be close to the case since they were after us, considering we were after Shigaraki the same time those heroes were."
"So the green haired one is also on it then." Katana said and finished her sisters thought.
Anna nodded.
"Exactly."
"It's gonna be hard to sneak around like the assassins we are though. I mean, they patrol the streets and ask civilians in the daytime right? So what are we going to do?" Katana asked.
"I guess we'll have to leave our assassin personas right here. Today we're normal people. I have the disguises in my bag." her sister answered.

The girls were out in the streets of Musutafu while wearing their disguises. Katana wore a brown wig, sunglasses and red lipstick. Her sister wore a blonde wig, regular glasses and pink lipgloss. They wanted to fit in to the city life by looking like two people who were on their way to work, but also like they could have been on their way to a fashion show.
"We've been walking around here FOREVER and there's not a single hero here." Anna whined.
"Oh, you guys looking for heroes patrolling the streets? Which one? I'm a big fan of them all so I could help you!" a stranger appeared out of nowhere and said.
The girls didn't even care at this point about people hearing their conversations. It's the city life, it could literally mean anything. So, they took the strangers advice and went to the area where he promised the green haired hero, who's name was "Deku", was going to be.
"Son of a bitch he was right, look, Anna!" Katana said and pointed at the pro.
He was standing with what seemed like a coworker. He had heterochromia eyes, split red and white hair and an icy look.
The girls agreed to split up but stay close and follow them around, listening to what people would answer. So far they've only gotten information they already knew.
After a while of following them, the pros went their separate ways and decided to ask people in different places. This meant that the girls had to split up even further away from each other. Anna followed the green haired one while Katana followed the other hero.

The notion that they are God's chosen people, and nothing else existed beyond them became a firmly rooted ideal. An arrogant assertion you say? Well there you have it, ignorance is something mortals never have a lack of. This is not transcendence, to transcend is to explore the limits of existence, to constantly grow, and lay claim to all the universe has to offer. Transcendence is to not be constrained by ideals, or the planet of your birth, to transcend is to leave behind your Mortal shell, to challenge heaven's law, and formulate your own. Heaven would see mortals bowed in servitude until the end of their days, to reincarnate, and begin another lifetime of worship, giving praise to the gods.
