Beverly's pov
-
So there I was, the next day. My back against the headboard and my hands rubbing my temples. The confusion ran through each vein of my body.
The images of her face didn't seem to fade, the memory of her touch consumed my emotions. Goosebumps crawled along my skin just thinking of her lips on mine.
What does that even mean? What the fuck does it even fucking mean of for fuck sakes!
I let out a sigh and found my way over to the shower with my cotton towel.
My hands turned the knob and I allowed the water to wash over me. It cleansed my spirit but not my sins. The hot liquid ran down my spine, causing my muscles to turn to mush under it's power. The water trickled down my face as I took a deep breath in. The familiar bad butterflies swarmed my stomach with each breath I took.
This shit isn't healthy. I need to get myself together.
I slipped out of the shower and threw on something quick. Shorts and a t shirt should do it.
My feet met the base of the stairs, I scanned the room frantically until it landed on the girl I kissed lastnight.
"Good Morning" she smiled widely as she walked past me
"Good morning" I mumbled, my feet trialed behind her
"Slept well? I know you haven't been sleeping that much lately" she said.
Aqua stood in front the stove with a pan in her hand. I raised my brow at her as my hands gripped the kid of the kitchen island as I hopped onto the marbled coutner.
"How'd you know that?"
"You talk in your sleep, it's pretty loud" she chuckled
"What did I say?"
"Something like, 'Yes, fuck yes, right there" she smirked.
My eyes went wide as a stinging red blush appeared on my cheek. Oh God-
"Oh no, did I really?! Oh fuc-"
"Nah I'm just fucking with ya" Aqua giggled. I groaned and grabbed the kitchen towel near me and threw it directly at her
"Hey! You'll make me drop this water!" She hissed
"What are you doing?" I questioned
"I'm cooking" she smiled widely
"Wanna help? I could really use someone to deal with the water. I don't want my tail magically appearing outta nowhere in the middle of a kitchen"
"Whatcha making?" I asked as I hopped off the kitchen island
"Anything you wanna eat" she smiled

"Pasta?"
"Pasta it is then"
I made my way over to the dark oak cabinets and pulled a few items out. Aqua went to the fridge and grabbed the meat and seasoning.
"Chicken or Shrimp?" she asked
"Chicken, I'm not in the mood for seafood" I said
"Ouch, well I'll just leave then" Aquamarine pouted. I threw my head in laughter as I lit the stove.
The bright flame laid under the iron pot filled with water, I broke the noodles and placed them in and covered it with a lid.
"Where's your phone?" she asked, I pulled my phone from my back pocket and unlocked it before handing it to her
The familiar song filled the speakers in the ceiling. I chuckled when Aqua pressed play on the song and placed the phone on the counter
"You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life" she sang. Oh my God.
"This is ridiculous" I chuckled, my hands gripped the knife as I sliced the chicken into small pieces
"See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen" she sang again, I glanced in her direction and saw Aqua holding a spoon her to mouth, she closed her eyes and sang.
I laughed when she held her hands out for me to take
"No, I'm trying to cook" I giggled
"Friday night and the lights are low" she sang again.
Aquamarine swayed her hips towards me, I laughed when she bumped her hips into mine, making me jolt forward slightly
"Looking out for a place to goooo" she sang in my ear. I shook my head and I glanced at her
Aqua held her hands above her head and rocked. Her eyes met mine across the counter and she wiggled her brows
"Come on Bev!"
"Noooo" I giggled
"Night is young and the music's high With a bit of rock music, Everything is fine" she squealed
I barley saw Aqua grab a spoon and toss it over my way. I screamed but my reflexes kicked in, I gripped the spoon in my hands and glared at her.
She twirled around the kitchen as she sang. I couldn't help but smile at her, Aqua looked so dorky as she did multiple facial expressions in a few seconds. Her head bopped up and down as she pointed to me
"You're in the mood for a dance and when you get the chance" she sang, her eyebrows wiggled at me and I finally gave in

"You are the dancing queen,Young and sweet, only seventeennn" I belted, our voices filled the room.
The spoon hung below my chin, my hips swayed to the beat.
"You can dance, You can jive, Having the time of your life" Aqua sang, she smiled and came back around to my side
"See that girl, Watch that scene, Dig in the dancing queen" I sang loudly, the laughs left my throat when Aqua turned her back towards me and rocked her body.
I smiled and danced with her. Aqua never failed to bring a smile on my lips, everything she did always left me in awe.
I felt my heart flutter just thinking about her
"You're so cute, I swear" I chuckled
"Cute isn't what I was going for, but I'll take it" her body turned around and I saw her perfect smirk
"What were you going for?" I asked, Aqua chuckled and brought her face closer towards mine.
I felt all emotional drained from my body when her hot breath lingered in my ear
"Daddy" she whispered, I swallowed a lump in my throat when she pulled away
"Good luck with that" I smiled
"Ugh, and here I was thinking I'd make your knees weak when if I said that" she rolled her eyes and gripped a knife
"Maybe it did, maybe it didn't" I smirked, Aqua turned to face me
"Stop playing with me Bev, I will cut you" She warned with the knife in her hands
"Whatcha gonna do about it?" I asked
"Don't ask questions, you don't wanna know" She smirked
"I'm curious"
"I know you are" she said as she glanced at me
"Oh my God, I didn't mean like that" I chuckled
"If the shoes fit, wear it sweetheart" she smiled, I glared and threw salt at her
"The fuck BEV!"
"Oh shit, I forgot you're already seasoned, you fish"
"FUCK YOU HOOMAN"
"FUCK YOU SARDINE"
"SARDINE IS MY FIANCE, DON'T GET US MIXED UP" she said, I threw my head back laughing
"Hand me the oil" I said
"Whatcha gonna do with it? Rub it all over my sexy ass?" she smirked
"Oh my God Aqua!"
"That's what I'll have you moaning babe" she winked, oh my-
A blush may be on my cheek but I'm totally unphased
"That's cringy"
"I watch too much straight tik tok, my bad" she groaned
"Excuse me?" I laughed
"No offense but straight tik tok is a.... A whole other world of chaos and grasshoppers that can't move their waist"
"And you can?" I asked
"I could try" she giggled
"Throw it back" I smiled
"God no, no no no no no, that's not for me" she laughed
"I'd pay good money to see that" I said
"I would rather marry a man, and that's saying something" she said
"Ugh you're ridiculous" I glared
"AND WHY DON'T YOU THROW IT BACK BEVERLY?" she said loudly
"Because I don't have a spine"
"Oh hush up, you're a cheerleader" she glared
"Got me there, but I'm still not gonna do it"
"Neither will I" she smiled
We continued our small talk for an hour, I took over the chicken while Aqua stayed away from any life form of water. I even threatened to soak her ass but she ran like a bi-
"So, did you tell Allie about you yet?" I asked, my hands gripped a fork as I placed it into the plate
"No, I don't know if I should" she muttered, I nodded and brought a plate over to her
"Do you think I should tell her?" she asked
"Um... I'm not sure. You guys seem close, are you afraid it'll freak her out?" I asked
"I don't know. I just can't bring myself to tell her. It's so weird"
"Then don't, if you feel like its not the right time then don't force it"
"But the longer I keep it from her, won't it be shitty as a friend?"
"Then there's that" I sighed
"I'll figure it out. But for now, let's taste our masterpiece" she smirked
My hands gripped the fork as they brought to creamy pasta towards the roof of my mouth.
"Finally, some good fucking food" Aqua said as she devoured the pasta, I chuckled at her
"Not to sound like a weirdo in those romantic films but, you got a little something there" she said, I raised my brow as she nodded towards to mouth.
I looked at her confused and she rolled her eyes
Aqua gripped a napkin from the counter and brought her hands closer to my face, her fingers brushed against my lips and I melted
"Oh- thank you" I giggled
"I like when you laugh, it sounds cute" she smiled, a blush crept onto my cheek
"And I like when you blush" she said, her eyes trailed over my body
"Stop you're gonna make my head explode" I laughed
"If I have that much of an effect on you, why can't you chose me yet?"
