Aqua hopped off the stool and I did the same. My hands found my keys and I shoved it into my pockets before walking right out towards the garage

"Why are we doing this? Aren't they supposed to be the ones bringing food?" Aqua groaned as she walked behind me. It was like having to drag your child to church

"Because I still need to stack up in the house" I said, I slid into the vehicle and pressed it on

The engine purred under my touch, Aqua slid into the next seat but her eyes wondered all over the car

"Something wrong?" I asked

"No it's just that, I haven't been in here in a while" she muttered, a sting of guilt erupted in me

"No it's okay, I understand where you were coming from" the girl chuckled

"I really am sorry, I shouldn't have shut you out like that" I mumbled, my feet found the gas and I pulled onto the mainroad

"That was too much space. I missed you" I whispered, my eyes glanced in her direction to see Aqua's brows furrowed

"I.. I missed you too Bev" she whispered, her eyes finally locked with mine, I felt my heart flutter as a blush rose to my cheek

The ride to the store wasn't long, Aqua and I made small talk and caught ourselves up on what we've been missing. I couldn't help but smile everytime she talked, she spoke with such passion. It was captivating to watch.

"Have you ever eaten a squid?" I asked

"Of course" she said as she hopped out of the car

"Was it raw?" I asked the girl

I stepped into the store and was immediately met with a fresh lemon scent, I guess they've been cleaning. My eyes met a tall raven hair man at the check out, I smiled and waved him good morning before heading towards the isle of choice

"Lays or Pringles?" the girl asked

"Both, both is good" I smiled

"Shut up" I glared at the girl

My hands ran over the vivid packages of the snacks.

"Do we get beer?"

"Am I looking to catch a case?" I asked

"Who knows what hides under that shy girl exterior" Aqua smirked at me

"Crazy for you my dear" she muttered expecting me not to hear. A blush crept onto my cheeks as I looked away

"The heck is Gatorade" She asked

"Try it and see if you like it" I smiled

The girl furrowed her brows but popped the cap open and brought the liquid to her lips before sipping

"This ain't for me" she said In disgust

"Oh, and raw fish is?" I smirked

"Hey! I live in the sea! No one is allowed to go to the surface" she glared

"Don't be so quick to talk" I smiled and headed over to the cookies

"Oh my God, can we get this? And this? Oh God this too!" Aqua squealed

"They're God's gift from heaven" the girl stared at the chocolate chip cookies in awe

"Cute, get whatever you want" I chuckled

"Oh, you got that coin sis" the girl laughed

"My parents have it, but they wouldn't mind especially when it's just food"

"Can I place you on my '' list then?"

"Oh my God, move it creep!" I glared at her.

The girl threw her head back in laughter when I tried to push her away, she didn't move an inch. Curse my short genes.

"Got everything?" she asked

"Yep, time to check out" I said

Aqua and I brought everything over to the check out. The man smiled politely as he scanned each item

"You look so familiar" the said, his eyes squinted as he examined my face

"Maybe from high school?" I asked

"No, I just can't put my finger on it" he said

"Maybe you know my parents?"

"Maybe, I don't know" the man chuckled and continued to scan

I noticed Aqua glaring at the man, her eyes ran up and down his body before she grinded her teeth together.

"It's only been a day" I chuckled

"I know but we have so much time to make up for, I miss seeing your beautiful smile" the boy said in a low voice.

"Yeah yeah yeah, move it" I heard another voice, I glanced behind him to see Josie rolling her eyes

"Shut up Bev, where's Aquamarine. I need to talk to her Pussy ass"

"I knew you liked my ass the second you saw it!" A voice came from behind me, I turned around to see Aqua approaching us.

She held a wide smile at Josie but her expression changed the second her eyes met Raymond

"Easy Now" I glared, thankfully she barley whispered that so only I could hear

"We need to talk, stat" Josie yelled and dragged the girl away into the kitchen

"Well that was weird" Ray said
