Beverly's pov

The runway was a raised white platform, a red curtain hung at the back to hide the audience's view. Strobe lights ran along the sides of the runway, the lights were dim and a spotlight shone onto the stage accompanied by a few headlights.

"This shit is nicee" Allie said, her fingers brushed against the seats as we slipped into them

"Some fancy shit" Josie smirked

We were gathered to the seats right next to the stage, my fingers could literally lean over and touch it.

"Can we talk about how crazy it is that we were just on the red carpet taking photos? Us? A bunch of gay high school students?" Josie asked

"Friends in high places" Allie chuckled

"I wonder what they do backstage"

"Fit into their dresses within 30 seconds"

"Besides that"

"Fit into their heels in 30 seconds"

"Would you shut up" Elena chuckled

"Do you think we'll see any celebrities?" Jackie said

"I highly doubt it" Elena pouted

"Why's that?" a voice came from behind us, I furrowed my brows and turned around only to have my jaw dropped

"Because, they'll be busy. Plus I'm too shy to even talk to the- HOLY FUCKING FUCK" Elena yelled

"Oh my God" Allie gasped

"Hello to you too" The woman smiled

"I'm trying so so hard to not fangirl right now" Josie said

"Better not, they might kick us all out" The green hair singer said

"Hi Halsey" I squealed

"Hi, nice to meet you" The woman extended her hand and I shook it, her soft fingers almost made me faint. I just touched Halsey!

"Is this your first event?" she asked

"Yes, our friend is actually modelling today"

"Really? Which one?" she asked

"She goes by the name Aquamarine" I said

"Oh! I met her a few days ago, she's really fun" Halsey smiled

"Oh shit, I think it's starting" Allie said

"Do you mind if I join you?" the woman asked, my eyes went wide

"Not at all. Please do" I smiled, the woman nodded and got up from behind us as she slipped into the seat to my right

"Do you often come to these?" Jackie asked the woman

"Most of us do, some come because they were paid to bring in more attention but I just come to watch the woman" The green hair singer snickered

"Well unfortunately you'll have to keep your eyes off a specific blue hair girl today" Allie smirked, my cheeks immediately flushed

"Why's that?"

"Because she belongs-"

"-To that blonde girl over there" Allie finished

"Oh so you're the Beverly she was going on about?" the singer smirked, I felt my heart flutter

"She talks about me?" I giggled

Suddenly, the lights fell to the back of the stage, all lights were then dimmed and the red curtains separated. I think the category was evening wear, they had a weird way of arranging the clothing line. Evening wear started first then swim wear and street wear.

My eyes came into contact with a toned leg, the person walked out from the corner and made her way down the runway. Her arm rested on her hip as her feet strutted boldly, her makeup was mild with a red lipstick to bring out her electric blue eyes, the diamond embedded dress shined under the spotlight.

The second she turned around, another woman appeared. It continued for a while until my eyes landed on Aquamarine that went last. She was placed at the final to introduce her to the audience, a smile stretched across my lips when her eyes landed on me.

Her hair was pulled into a tight highpony, her tight jawline looked even sharper with the hairstyle. A few diamond clips were tucked under her strands, the girl strutted down the runway, her blue off the shoulder dress hugged her curves tightly and had a long split leading up to her waist. My heart race in my chest, She moved so swiftly, my eyes were caught on her and her only. Everyone seemed to fade away when Aqua walked past me, her eyes locked with mine and she winked. I giggled softly.

At the apex of the runway, she raised softly curved hands and an array of diamond bangles glittered under the spotlight. God she looked so fucking hot. I swallowed a lump in my heart and my eyes trailed over the girl, her body seemed so tone and tight. The blue silk dress draped down her shoulder, her green eyes stared into the flashing cameras before turning on her black heels and heading back past the curtains.

"Woah" Elena muttered

"I know" I whispered

The music was changed to something more upbeat, the girl's piled out and they strutted to the rhythm of the beat. Their smiles reached their ear as they modelled down the runway with Angela wings attached to their backs.

My eyes were glued to the blur haired girl, she had on a black two piece. The material clung onto her body, exposing her tight toned stomach, her supply breasts looked baked under the lights, I bit my lips nervously and squeezed my thighs together. I looked over the dip of her hip.

This time her hair was down into a middle part, her hair flowed over her shoulder onto the angel wing. She had a long trail that flowed behind her, she pushed it to the side and posed for the camera before heading back in.

The line came back out again and this time they wore edgy street wear, my eyes landed on Aqua immediately. Her hair flowed down her back under the tope. She wore an oversized black and white sweater that fitted her body well, a white leather fanny pack slung over her shoulder as it matched the trousers that had a chain hooked around the pockets.

I noticed everytime Aqua came out, her eyes were always on me. At first I thought it was a subtle glance but now she held eye contact. Her fiercing green eyes made my breath caught in my throat, her lips curled into a side smirk and she winked at me. I felt something heat up between my legs as I swallowed hard.

Whew chile.

"Here's to a girl that defied gender norms and made a completely different life for herself despite having one of the most difficult experiences" Allie said as she raised her glass

"Here's to one of the most stunning women that's taking the world by storm" Jackie smiled

"Here's to the girl that's finding herself" Elena said

"Here's to a friendship that will always be here no matter that" Josie added

"And here's to a love that I'll cherish forever" I whispered and pecked Aqua's lips, she smiled sweetly

"Cheers!" we said in unison as our glasses clinked together

We were currently backstage in Aqua's private dressing room with a chilled glass of champagne to celebrate her first modelling event.

"So you weren't nervous? Like at all?" Jackie asked

"Nope. Kat trained me well" the mermaid chuckled

"Well Aqua, I must say you looked beautiful tonight. You were the only one shining up there and I couldn't keep my eyes off you, despite being warned" Halsey said as she smiled at me

"Thanks Hals"

"I can't believe this is your life now, imagine just a few months ago you were clueless as a gay" Josie said

"Then she found tik tok and had all the information of the world at her fingertips" Allie said

"Then she had to fight a bitch for the girl she love" Jackie said

"Hey! Let's not talk about my dumbass in the past. I'm just happy I made the right decision and fell in love with Aqua" I smiled

"Oh please, you wanted to try the dick before you rode me" Aqua rolled her eyes. I heard Halsey snort as I spat my drink

"Excuse me what?"

"You know it's true!" Allie laughed

"I don't think she wanted the guy in the first place. Did you even see the way she was watching Aqua during her date with the guy? There was so much tension, it still gives me the tingles" Jackie giggled

"Yeah that shit was romantic" Allie smiled

"So what happens next?" I asked

"Travelling, interviews, photoshoots. Gah so much to do" Aqua smiled

"Oh-" I mumbled, she furrowed her brows and lowered her glass

Aqua took her hands in mine and she brought it to her chest. She turned to face me with a smile

"Beverly" she whispered, Aqua brought my fingers to her lips as she kissed it softly, I giggled

"Yes?"

"I want you behind me with every step that I take. I promise I won't ever let my job get into the way of spending all of my time with you, whenever you need me I'll be there. I love you" she whispered, her arms hooked around my waist and pulled me closer to her chest

I swear to God I don't deserve this girl. But I'd be damned if I ever allow anyone to come between what we have. She's special.
