《WALKER》FIVE

I shoved Faith behind my back as we stood in front of the four men.
"Hello again." The man said and I glared up at him. "Can you believe that this Joel's kid?" He asked his friends before they shared a laugh.
"Listen buddy, I don't know who you're talking about." I said and the man walked around Faith and I.
"Why are you drivin his car then?" The man asked and I shrugged.
"I found this car on the highway. It was in good shape so I thought what the heck?" I said and the man's facial expression turned grim.
"You think I'm a fucking idiot?" He asked angrily. They can't know who I am. If they do, they'll come looking for us at the house.
"Even if you're not Joel's kid, your little stunt at the gas station earlier- did you think I'd let you go that easily?" He asked and I clenched my jaw.
"Well I was hoping." I said before glaring at him in disgust and he placed his hand on my throat.
I hit him the abdomen before kneeing him in the balls. I kicked him away from me and his friends charged at me.
"Get in the car Faith!" I yelled before throwing the keys at her.
"Let's dance." I told the men in front of me before swinging my knife at them but they dodged it with ease. I grabbed the first man by the wrist before pushing the knife into his neck and he stumbled backward.
"Now leave my brother and I alone." I said but they ignored me. One of them grabbed my wrist before twisting it and I screamed in pain before shoving my elbow into his windpipe. He stumbled backward so I stabbed him in the abdomen.

The last one knocked me off my feet and my mouth hit the hard cement. I spat the blood out of my mouth but the metallic taste lingered. I jumped up from the ground before punching him square on the jaw. Just like my dad taught me.
The man placed his thumbs on my eyes before pressing into them and I screamed in pain before slicing at his abdomen with my knife but he dodged it each time.
I placed my foot on his fat belly before pushing forward causing him to lose his grip on my face.
"I said leave us the fuck alone." I said before kicking him off of me and slicing the vein in his neck causing him to bleed out.
The man that claims to know my dad stood up once more before staggering towards me so I took his face into my hands before breaking his neck and jumping back into my Jeep.
"You can open your eyes now." I told Faith.
I sped down the street and stopped in front of the gate. They let me through and I drove through the gates before they closed behind me. Luckily the men at the gate haven't got word of what I just did. They would've killed me on sight.
"We have to go." I told Faith and she nodded in fear.
I stopped in front of the gate to our house so I pressed the remote control button and the gate opened. I drove through before closing the gate.
"Stay in the car." I said harshly before jumping out and running into the house.
I grabbed tents, packed bags with clothes, the rest of my brother's Xanax stash, knives, my dad's guns and our family photo before running back outside.
I placed the bags in the trunk before jumping back in the car. I drove back out of the gates and some black cars headed towards us. I sped down the streets and luckily they didn't see us.

"We lost them." Faith said and I smiled over at her before hitting into something. I lost control over the steering wheel and drove off the side of the road.
I looked over at Faith and she was perfectly fine, so was the car. I sighed before climbing out and checking the street.
I frowned as I saw a man lying in the street. I looked around us before walking up to the man.
"Are you okay?" I asked and he groaned in reply.
"Dude!" I said in frustration and he frowned up at me. I thought he was dead or something.
"Rosaleigh?" He asked and my eyes widened .
"Elliot?" I asked and he hissed in pain.
"Yes you idiot. You almost fucking killed me!" He said angrily.
"I'm your sister it doesn't count." I said before helping him up. He eyed me suspiciously before pulling me into a tight hug and I started sobbing into his shirt.
"You're real." I said while taking his face into my hands and he laughed. "Where's mom and dad?" I asked and he looked down at his shoes.
"Mom and dad?" He asked and I nodded.
"They must be with you right-"
"Ro." He called and I looked up at him.
"Let's go to them." I said and he frowned.
"Rose mom and dad are gone." He said and I frowned.
"What do you mean gone?" I asked angrily.
"I split, I mean last time I heard they were heading South." Elliot said and I frowned. So the oxygen thief was telling the truth.
"When was the last time you saw them?" I asked and Elliot sighed.
"Four summers ago." He said and I took a step back from him.
"And you didn't fucking think to go look for them?" I asked and Elliot looked over at our dad's jeep.
"Score you brought Tan with you." He said and I pushed him as hard as I could.
"You can walk back to whatever hole it is you crawled out of." I said and he smiled at me.
"Not when I have the keys." He said while dangling the car keys in front of me and I clenched my jaw.
"Give me the keys and I'll give you a ride." I said and he laughed at me.
"No way we're driving." I heard a familiar voice from behind me so I gulped nervously.
