《WALKER》EIGHT

I slowly turned the key in the lock before placing my hand on the door knob. I opened the door and found Kieran in front of me.
"You're alive." I said under my breath and a smile crossed his face. "How did you find us? How did you get here?" I asked in confusion.
"It's you, Ro. I would do anything for you. It doesn't matter how I got here." He said before pulling me into a hug and spinning me around in the air.
"How did you find me?" I asked before hugging him again.
"Well for starters back at the camps when we were still together you couldn't stop talking about your hometown." He said and I laughed.
"Of course you remember." I said and he smiled.
"We drove down here and asked around town for you." He said and I nervously bit into my lip. "Everyone in town was talking about a girl killing four men so I figured it was you. Then we asked around some more and a guy at the gas station said that your folks were heading South last time he heard. So we headed South seeing that you came here to be with your family." Kieran explained.
"Okay but who's we?" I asked and he smiled.
"I'm here with Hunter." He said and I smiled broadly. Hunter used to train me when we were back at the camps, from self defence to everything I know today.
"I'll let my brother know that you guys are staying." I said before going over to Faith and helping her out of the wall.
"Who's the kid?" Kieran asked curiously.
"This is Faith." I said and he smiled. "Faith this is Kieran." I said and Faith just lifted her hand at him.

"We should let her sleep." Kieran said and I nodded. I tucked Faith back in bed before going downstairs with Kieran.
I found Hunter sitting at a barstool while Noah and Elliot were aiming their guns at him. Hunter just sat back while eating an apple.
I ran over to him before hugging him tightly.
"I thought I'd never see you again." I said before placing a kiss on his cheek.
"I missed you too, doc." He said and I smiled at him.
"Put your guns down." I told Noah and Elliot and they frowned at me.
"Kieran, Hunter, this is my brother Elliot and this is my- Noah." I said and they glared at each other. "Kieran and Hunter were soldiers at the camps where I stayed for five years. I wouldn't have survived my time there without them." I said and Elliot and Noah let their guns down.
"Come on doc you saved more lives than we did." Hunter said and I smiled dryly.
"If it's okay with you guys- can they stay with us?" I asked Noah and Elliot who looked at me in disbelief.
"Hell the fuck no." Elliot said angrily.
"They're my friends and there's a snow storm outside." I said angrily.
"Where were they when we were swarmed with rotters like five minutes ago?" Noah asked angrily. "If they were friends why didn't they help us?" He asked.
"Show em." Kieran said so Hunter lifted his leg and an open cut on his leg became visible.
"We were surrounded too. I couldn't exactly leave Hunter to the walkers, he could barely stand - there's literally a snow storm taking place outside." Kieran said in frustration.
"I get it." I said and he kept quiet.

"Explain this then. Who the fuck lured the rotters in here in the first place? Because it sure as hell wasn't us." Elliot said rudely.
"It wasn't us either." Hunter said angrily.
"Blame someone else because we were ambushed just as much as you were." Kieran said pointedly.
"Bullshit." Noah said angrily.
"Why would they risk their own safety to kill us?" I asked and the room dawned in silence. "They're staying." I said pointedly.
"One night." Elliot said before storming out the door.
"Let me look at your wound." I told Hunter and he nodded. "Noah could you please add some wood to the fire?" I asked and he glared at me with a clenched jaw before going over to the fireplace.
"Kieran please put his leg on the chair." I said before going around the counter to grab my first aid kit.
I sat on a chair next to Hunter's leg. I took some scissors out before cutting his pants open. My eyes widened when I saw the wound.
"What happened to you?" I asked and Hunter clenched his jaw.
"A fucking bear trap." He said angrily. "You coulda warned us that there were bear traps out here." He said before chuckling.
"Yeah, I forgot to text you." I said before smiling at him and Kieran chuckled at us.
"Thank you, Noah." I said as I felt the room heating up from the fire and he nodded before leaving.
"Bite into something." I said before dumping some alcohol onto some cotton wool. I pressed the cotton against Hunter's leg and he groaned in pain.
