Rah
Chapter 9
Rahmik Ford
I had just gotten done with some work dealing with my old man. It was after nine and last time I had check Nia was suppose to be out tonight. I couldn't even lie a nigga was hella hot, I felt like she was on some sneaky shit too. Especially after not getting dressed home and deciding to get ready at Erin's.
I swear they always had her on some stupid shit.
I was contemplating for a minute to just tell her fuck it and let's spend time or sum' but I decided against it.
My intuition never led me wrong, I decided to see how it would play out though.
I was cut from my thoughts pulling up to Tez's crib seeing all them niggas outside. I cut the engine putting on my hood and pulling out my chain. Getting out I hit the alarm.
"Where the fuck your ass been foo'." Loke huffed as I walked up on 'nem.
"Minding me." I spoke as I slapped hands with them.
"I seen you getting on your shit man." Tez laughed as I pulled out my swisher and began to roll up.
"Can't see you these days." Pop said giving my shoulder a nudge and I eyed it.
"Yea. Just been ouchea." I spoke lighting up.
"So your old man said shit bout them condos?" He asked and I shrugged.
"Nah, he ain't been sayin' much." I tried to stay out of anything my pops did even if it included the niggas I moved with. I knew how his ass was.
Only a matter of time before they figure it out.
I kept things with him brief and quick. I wasn't for the extras.
"Y'all seen what happened to allat shit Jett stocked up on?" Tez asked as I raised my brow inhaling from my blunt.
"Niggas swiped that shit right up from underneath him." Loke said shaking his head.
"What niggas?" I asked
"Blue an'nem." He said and I chuckled.
"I bet he talked..." I mumbled.
"Like bitch with a new Chanel." Pops said causing us all to laugh.
I looked up seeing a familiar face.
"You got it?" Kayla said approaching Tez. His baby mama basically.

"I told you not to be pulling up like that." He spoke in all seriousness.
"Pull up like what?" She said getting loud.
"Cause last time I checked your ass been supposed to have this money dropped off." She was now extra and I just turned around deciding to mind my business as I watch him began to pull her away.
"Man these bitches be whack." Pop said shaking his head.
"Retarded as fuck if you asked me." Loke laughed.
"Man Gina ain't stupid to come up round here and try and embarrass me like that." Pop said as I looked down at my phone deciding to shoot Nia a text.
Me- I'll pick you up from Erin's tonight, 12 remember.
🖤🥺
I shook my head at her message and replied.
"Crazy bitches man." I heard Loke realizing that they still were talking about the situation.
Nia would never.

This was wild, I had to admit that it was fun though. Looking at my phone I read Rah's message.
My❤️- No
Rolling my eyes I pushed my phone back in my purse, I knew I was pushing it a bit.
I looked down at my dress and pulled it down a bit. It was the cutest honestly. It was a blue mini lace dress that was studded in some areas and definitely hugged me nicely. My hair was bone straight with a side part that I figured went nicely with the dress and my strapped up heels.
"If Rah saw you..." I heard Erin as my stomach got uneasy and I rolled my eyes.
"Here." Tracey said coming over with our drinks.
"Thank you." I said taking a sip.
"So how are you missy. Don't let me have to call Rah and have him shoot this club up I seen niggas coming." Tracey said as we all laughed.
Male attention was everywhere and although it added to my ego it was annoying.
Especially since I only had eyes for my man only.
"It's only niggas that don't know who you are." Erin said grabbing my hand as we made our way over to the dance floor.
I started to dance on her and honestly I preferred it this way, than some random stranger on me.

We've literally danced the whole night and I couldn't lie, this was the most fun I'd had in forever. After a few more drinks and a night full of dances I slowed my roll.
Taking out my phone I looked at the time seeing that it was 12 almost one and I had about 5 missed calls along with messages all from Rah...
My❤️- Yo where you at it's 12.
12:26
My❤️-I know you playin' rn
12:33
My❤️-Same irresponsible ass shit I'm talkin' bout.
12:40
My❤️-Yo Nia pick up this fuckin' phone bro
12:43
My❤️-Ight
12:44
"Y'all we gotta go." I said as fear took over.
"Shit it's almost one." I watched as they set their drinks down and we basically tried to push our way though the crowd.
Looking at my phone I checked the time.
1:01
"Shit." I hissed as we made our way towards the entrance.
"Bitch I can't breath." I laughed once we got outside.
"Bitch let me just say tonight was the night." Trace said rolling her eyes.
So I guess Erin was the driver.
"Yes I hadn't had that much fun in like ever. I've got to do this again." I said as we started to make our way over to Erin's car.
And there he was Satin himself leaned up against the car eyeing me from head to toe.
"Shiiiiit." Tracey dragged as both their faces held shocked emotion and my stomach was on the floor by now.
"Girl you on your own with this." Tracey laughed.
"You bout to get your jaw broken for real this time." Erin said causing them to laugh louder as I tried to contain myself because I didn't find anything funny at this time.
"Rah I-" I started but he cut me off.
"Nah fuck allat Nia. We agreed on a time. Shit happens. People get real stupid ouchea after a while." He said and I knew he was upset.
"Baby I know, I just got side tracked that all. Y-"
"Man that's more than side tracked bro. You wasn't even picking' yo shit up." He said licking his lips angrily as his eyes traveled down my body and he let out a light chuckle.
"And you ain't got dressed home cause this the hoe ass shit you wanted to wear right?" He said not taking his eyes off of my fit.
I looked at him taken back and shook my head.
"It's not that deep Rah I just thought it looked ni-"
"Man getcho' ass inna car cause you really bout to cause me lose my shit for real dawg." He said watching me go over the passenger side as I got in and so did he.
"Rah I'm sorry." I said looking down at my nails as he started up ignoring me.
"I hope you had a fuckin' good time too." He spat speeding off into the street.
This was some bull.
........
Morning after
Ping!
Ping!
Ping!
Ping!
Ping!
Ping!
I awoke at the sound of my phone going off and looked at the screen seeing messages from Erin and Tracey.
Erin- how did everything go?
9:30 a.m
Erin- I'm real sorry, we gotta do better next time😞
9:30 a.m
Tracey- you alive?
9:44 a.m
Tracey- you better tell me what went down
9:46 a.m
Erin- bitch get up I'm worried
10:03 a.m
Erin-I'm bout to call the police for real.
10:10 a.m
Skimming over the messages I shot them both a message letting them know that I was good. Last night after we got home it was heated I'm talking from us arguing to me crying and next thing I know he's ramming my kitty.
I got my naked self outta bed and decided to go and take a bath I looked over to Rah seeing him with the sheets barely covering his dick. Rolling my eyes I took nothing but a rag with me into the shower.
Last night really had my mind blown and asking myself if I'm really the one with all the insecurities. I didn't know how to bring it up to him but that's what I felt. At least that's what I sensed.
The way he stared at me in that dress as if he hated what he saw was unforgettable. I knew him to be jealous, but behind that jealousy held a lot of insecurities as well. I really didn't know if I should be worried at this point.
But what I did know was that this was call for a conversation.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. (This work is also being serialised on Webnovel under the name Revile as a trial run)
