Chapter 25
Rahmik Ford
"Ma, I'a head out." I said to my moms walking out of my pops office.
"So you only got one parent, you been avoiding me Rahmik." She said leaning over the kitchen counter.
And to tell the truth I was. I know she knew shit between Nia and I was done and I really wasn't tryna hear all her shit bout us talking it out. I knew that was the kinda thing she'd try and pull. She was always on Nia's side.
"Just ain't feeling like talking." I mumbled lowly as she raised her brow.
"You bet not play with me boy."
"YoU bEt NoT pLaY wItH mE bOy!" Dre came from the hallway and mocked.
"You better take your black strawney ass on." She yelled to him as his eyes went wide causing me to laugh.
"I ain't even do nun." He mumbled going into the kitchens pantry.
"It really ain't nun to be worried bout ma.." I shrugged leaving it at that.
I really wasn't for it. She pulled some fowl shit and I honestly couldn't wrap around my head how I felt about. This whole shit was new to me. Her being foul. I wasn't use to that.
I was headed to the club to deal with some things my pops had laid out for me. As much as I hated doin' shit for his ass it really wasn't no use for me to go home and just think bout things.
I was really tryna keep my mind off of all of it and goin' home to that wasn't gone fix it.
Pulling up I got out and made my way through the employee back door.
"Yo Rah, you got someone in the office waiting for you." Tink said as I squinted my eyes knowing I ain't had shit planned with nobody.
Which made me wonder just what was my pops up to.
"Who?" I asked as he let out a deep chuckle.
"Some female." He shrugged as hugged walking up to the office.

I really expected this to be her last resort and as much as I didn't wanted to tell her off she was really fuckin' urging me to. I approached the door and roughly pushed it open.
"Man what the fuck y-" I cut my self seeing Candace sit in the seat directly in front of the desk.
"Bro what the fuck you want?" I asked slightly annoyed as she got up.
"Look like the kid got you fucked up." She smirked.
"I'm bout to put yo' ass outside if you'on speak." I said as her face went straight. She shook her head and eventually quietness fully took over.
"A deal..." she said with a pout as I walked over to the desk leaning against it.
"Chu' you talkin' bout?" I asked as she rolled her eyes interlocking her fingers nervously.
"What you think Rahmik. My dads coming back from Mexico next week and I need that money." She spoke wide eyed as I laughed.
"Man get out..." I said lowly as she cocked her head to the side.
"Rahmik I'm serious. I-" She started but I cut her off.
"So I ain't? Bro you took yo ass out Florida to collect shit and be on your way. Next I know you in Gucci and Burberry maxin' out yo shit...." I chuckled as I looked at her and tears filled her eyes.
"You fuckin' playin bro." I wiped my hand over my face.
"You spent his money?" I asked as she sat there not opening her mouth.
"Rah I just need a loan until..." she said as her tears started to fall and I sighed.
Even though she was Rios daughter I was almost sure that he'd fucked her ass up in some way. I wasn't too much on getting mixed up in nun a this. But I guess it was the least I can do.
"I'a think about it." I said as she gripped her Prada bag tightly and stood up.

"Thank you so much Rahmik. I-." She fought with her words before wrapping her arms around me.

"How the fuck you gone know he here." Tracey said as we pulled up to the club. It was late day, so it wasn't as full.
"I'm hoping." I said rolling my eyes getting out.
"This the same shit I'm talking bout', this exactly how niggas be popping the fuck out you." She said as I ignored her and walked towards the entrance.
Inside was a whole lot bigger than I remembered now seeing it empty. Walking over to the bar I saw a bottle girl who was standing there cleaning out a few shot glasses.
"Hey..." I said walking over to her as she lifted up her head.
"Hey, how can I help?"
"Do you happen to know if Rahmik is in right now?" I asked a bit nervous as she held up her finger and walked though the side doors.
This might have been stupid but I just could any longer, I was trying to reach Rah and I still had gotten no answer, I even took it to going over to him and those gates never rolled back. I watched as she came from the back and pointed towards the doors.
"Straight down second left fourth door." She said as I nodded.
Taking instructions I was met with the double doors and sighed deeply before pushing it open.
Seeing what I saw I was hella' confused, my stomach clenched as my mouth started to go dry.
There Candace stood in Rah's arms. I mean I couldn't say nothing cause we weren't together but that still did a lot to me. I don't know if it were the fact that it was how quick this happened or the fact that of who it was.
"Thank you." She mumbled to him as she walked out slightly brushing my shoulder. I looked at him stupid as he stood there straight faced.
"Are you serious Rahmik?" I asked as he stood there letting out a deep sigh.
"What the fuck you want Nia?" He spat to me as I stood there dumbfounded.
"What do you mean what do I want Rahmik. I was tryna reach you for the past week and a half!" I yelled.
"Man lower your voice and close the door." He said as I stood there looking at him like he was crazy.
"I came to fix things between us and you're here dealing with the same female you said that I didn't need to be worried about?"
"Wow." I shook my head feeling my anger rise.
"Like how heartless can you be to do that Rahmik. You tell me what I'm doing is low but here you are-"
"Ain't shit was goin' on Nia. Yo always tryna make shit is to what it ain't. Ion even see why the fuck you on my dick bro. You ain't mine and I ain't yours!" He yelled getting in my face as my bottom lip started to quiver and I felt my vision began to blur, that had really stung.
"That's how you feel?" I asked as my voice came out cracked.
"That's exactly how I feel...." He said as I looked him deep in his eyes searching for something at least but there was nothing they were just dark and empty.
That really did something to me. After all we'd been through. All I've been there for him. Being this mans backbone. Putting up with so much shit. It really felt like a slap to face.
Turning on my heels I walked out the door and turned back to him who stood there not taking his eyes off me once.
"Fuck you Rahmik." I said not thinking and saying exactly what was on my mind.
"Fuck you too Nia." He said closing the door in my face.
