Chapter 32
SeniaMarie Milano
Everyone who had befriended Rah and I were here. A few of his aunts, uncles and cousins still made it their business to come and support us.
It felt so good knowing that Tae and I had other family even though she was our only aunt.
In all honestly I was so happy to be surrounded by all of this love.
"Okay mama's not you lookin' sexy as hell, girl pregnant or not I'd want you." Erin hyped me from the room door causing me to laugh.
"You really be getting on my nerves..." she mumbled looking at my attire.
"What did I do?" I asked looking down and my dress.
"Bitch You was suppose to wear pink." She said as I rolled my eyes.
"I don't have time for y'all and y'alls shenanigans." I said seeing Rah appear behind Erin.
"You ready?" He asked walking over to me giving me a peck on my lips and I nodded.
"Yea." I laughed examining him. He wore a blue button down shirt which of course was opened exposing his white wife beater with matching blue shorts and white Forces.
"You really about this little boy huh."
"It's a boy baby, I know it is." He said resting both hands on my stomach.
"Let's just go." I said as he grabbed my hand and walked me down the stairs.
The living room was only occupied by his and my grandmother who surprisingly were both dressed in blue as well.
"How you doin' baby." She smiled seeing me as I walked over to her giving her a little hug.
"I'm doing fine and you?" I asked smiling back.
"I'm doin' just well this lil boy just gotchu' glowing."
"Mhmm." My nana said agreeing as I laughed at their slick jeers.
"I told her my son got her lookin' some type away." Rah said eyeing me with a smile.
"Well we'll be seeing in a minute." I said as made my way to the kitchen seeing Rah's mom and my aunt Charmaine dressed in pink. His mom was doing her usual mastering in the kitchen with my aunt and her other two sisters who were helping alongside.
"Hey baby food gone be ready inna minute, but Freds firing up the grill so I guess I-"

"Nah ma' she can't be eatin stuff like that..." Rah interjected as I looked at him with a slight attitude.
"Just this once." I turned to him holding my stomach and I pouted.
"Nah we not doin' that." He said as I rolled my eyes and he was obviously set on his word.
I walked over to the fridge taking out a bottle of my beet juice which I had to admit was good as hell. Ms. Michelle would make the batches for me with a recipe she'd found that would be tasteful to my liking and it definitely was.
"I wanna go outside..." I said to him as he led the way to the back.
Stepping outside onto the patio it was definitely a sight to see. Blue and pink coated our back yard with and big banner wording 'prince or princess'.
Nearly every man had on blue opposed to most of the women who were a mixture of both.
"Now you know you whack for that!" I heard Gina yelled from the cabana. I figured my white dress would have everyone in a stir considering that they were expecting me most of all to pick a side.
"Look at my good sis..." Tez said leaning in for a hug.
"You doin alright?"
"I'm doing great Ortez." I said as Loke gave me a hug as well.
"Hi." I waved to baby ant as he leaned into pops chest
"That's definitely a boy in there." Pop spoke making everyone laugh.
After talking to them for a good minute Rah escorted me away due to the fumes from the grill and the smoke from the weed.
"Imma bring you somethin' when my mama get done." Rah said as I nodded walking over to where Gina, Erin and Melissa sat.
"Look atchu' this baby done got you blown right up." Gina said placing her hand on my stomach.
"This better be a girl. I got like $20 on the line." Erin said.
"Girl try $50." Melissa's eyes widened as I gasped.
"Why are y'all even betting on my baby like this."
"Money gotta make Nia." She spoke.
"Whatever." I spoke taking a seat.
"You really wore white huh?" Gina said as if not comprehending.

"I'm not getting in y'all mess." I said taking a sip of my juice.
"I think she knows what it is." Melissa said as I looked towards her a bit confused.
"Yep thats why she doin what she's doing." Erin said staring at me.
"No I don't, like I really don't know what it is. I'll be just as surprised as y'all." I really didn't know what I was having.
"Rah moms wearing pink, that should've gave y'all a clue." I said considering she's the only one that's actually knows of the gender.
"So it is a girl." Erin clapped.
"What if she wore pink to throw us off and it's actually boy though." Gina threw at Erin as the look of defeat laid across her face.
"This ain't it all." She said making us laughed. I watched as Rah's uncle Fred brought over a tray containing three plates as he gave them out.
"None for me?" I asked with an innocent smile.
"So that Rah can have both our heads? Sit small niece." He said making us all laugh.
"It's crazy how your doctor has you on this strict diet but you're gaining hella weight." Erin commented.
"It's not really strict, I'm able to eat what I want, but I have to make sure that irons included, plus she just didn't wanna throw pills in there. And honestly I didn't want them either, I already have to take certain vitamins." I spoke as they nodded.
"Girl stick to it, it definitely helps in the long run. I remember being pregnant with ant and I was told to not to eat nothing spicy. Let me tell you, I was eatin' pickle sausages, hot Cheetos, buffalo wings bitch inna night my chest was on fire." She said as we burst into laughter.
"I remember waking up Pop tellin this nigga I was having a heart attack, he gone say 'you havin' a heart attack how the fuck you talkin' to me then?' I'm like..." at this point we were loud as hell. I was laughing uncontrollably.
"Like nigga you worrying about the wrong things." She finished.
"Pregnancy sounds rough..." Melissa added as I rubbed on my stomach.
"It can be, like you really need that support from the ones around you." Gina said as I nodded in agreement.
In all honesty I was so thankful for Rah, Ms. Michelle and my grandmother. I honestly didn't know how I'd make it through this without them. My friends were just a plus that added extra and I was definitely grateful for them as well.
"Are you and Loke planning on any?" I asked as all heads turned to Melissa.
"I mean he definitely wants kids, but right now no. I grew to love him and all, but he's definitely got a lot more maturing to do." She said as I saw Gina nodding.
"Loke like forty what more maturing there is." Erin said causing the girls to outburst again as I just grinned shaking my head.
"I feel you though, like planning a wedding with Pop definitely made me see things that I don't notice before. I mean that's my man and all, but there gotta be some more fixing to this."
"Your other friend just had her baby right?" Melissa asked as my mind had ran on Tracey.
"Yea, she did."
Hearing the girls talked only opened my eyes. Everyone had their own problems and everyone had their faults. I think it amazed me at the fact that they were willing to fix those things before just calling it a quits. And that was ok. No ones perfect.
Interrupting my thoughts I watched as Rah came from the house with a plate of food in his hand causing me to light up internally.
"Thank you babe." I smiled looking down at my plate.
"Yuh welcome, you need anything else?" He asked and I shook my head.
"No. Go enjoy yourself." I told him as he shot me a smile. I'd watch that man work all week under his mothers command to make sure that everything went as planned. My baby deserved a break right now.
I watched as he walked over to the bar grabbing up a cup and started to pour himself a drink, hard raw Stolichnaya- no chaser, laughing to myself I turned my attention back to the girls and began to eat my food.

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.
