" I'm really sorry mom. I've failed you and dad all the time. " Sam hugged his mother, this the first time his mother had supported him and it really made him emotional. Mrs. Abiñon rubbed Sam's back, she felt genuinely happy for his only son.

" I understand you Sam, I was the same. The reason why I wanted to straighten you up is because I saw myself in you. I did a many mistake at your age, I just didn't want you to be the same. I don't hate you because of your sexuality Sam, I want you to know that. Your father as well doesn't hate you because of something so trivial, just that your father have something with the Welton's that he could not accept but maybe after some time he will accept the both of you together. " Mrs. Abiñon explained after their hug. Sam nodded sniffling, but questions now flooded his mind like why father hated the Welton's so much? 'It could not just because of the top 1 position right?' Sam thought, Zach also doesn't know the answer to this. Sam just really wants to know the root of this feud between their family and hopefully find ways to fix it.

" Mom, w-why does dad hates the Welton's so much? It could not just because of money right? " Sam finally asked his mother then looked at Zach who were just beside them with Allen and Alex on his lap. Even Zach doesn't know the reason why the Abiñon's were taboo within his family specially his father. Zach learn from Sam that they are technically cousins because Zach's grandmother married Sam's grandfather, Sam and Zach's fathers technically grew up as brothers despite not being related by blood until Sam's grandfather died and split the inheritance.

Hearing Sam's question, Mrs. Abiñon sigh looking straight to Sam. " I don't know much, all I know is that your father said and believed that your grandfather didn't love him and his mother, your grandfather didn't treat him as his son unlike how he treated your father..." Mrs. Abiñon said looking now at Zach. Zach didn't react and continued to listen. " When I met your father he was so broken like I was, we found comfort from each other because we both had problems with our fathers. Your father always hated Garry and his step mother, I once met her when I stayed over once at the family mansion and she was a nice woman but your father hated her, he couldn't accept that your grandfather love and treated her and Garry a family more than him and his mother. Your father grew up without paternal love and he blamed Garry and his mother for it. " Mrs. Abiñon continued after looking back to Sam. She supported her husband all these years but deep inside she also wished Gregory would someday learn to accept and forgive.

" W-why does grandfather treated father and grandmother so badly? " Sam asked but his mother only sigh indicating she doesn't know the reason.

" Only your father knows the answer to that or your father..." She looked at Zach this time. " This feud didn't rooted from your fathers. This I only observed, if you can ask your father maybe you'll learn what's the truth, maybe there something more deeper in this. " Mrs. Abiñon suggested to Zach. Zach just nodded despite ignoring his parents calls for the last 4 days. He wasn't planning on going back if he'll only be force into a political marriage again when Sofia rejects.

" Thank you mom, although we still don't know the real reason. I think I can understand dad better now, I always thought it's all about the money. " Sam confessed feeling sorry.

" I can understand why you thought that way. "

" I'm sorry mom. "

" Don't worry about it, just focus on your healing and your escape and be more careful now. You know your father have a lot of contacts, just look how easy it was to find you. And you, you take care of my son and grandsons! Don't underestimate your father's connections. "

" Yes of course." Zach nodded letting the middle aged woman hug Allen and Alex again.

After a few more chats, Mrs. Abiñon finally left suggesting the couple to leave the hospital immediately and focus on hiding while she handles everything on her side. Zach took the advice and despite the doctor's objection, Sam and Zach left the hospital into a prestigious beach residence in the city which Dave and Sofia had already prepared for them and are waiting for the group of four to arrive at the house.

" Are you hurting anywhere? " Zach asked the moment they arrived. He took Sam's hand gently as they climbed out of the car, Allen and Alex following them out as well.

" No, I'm fine Zach. You know how doctors sometimes exaggerate things. " Sam giggled which Zach frown disagreeing.

" If they really did exaggerate things is it's because of patients like you. " Zach argued, still carefully supporting Sam as they now walked to the villa.

" Seriously Zach, you're over reacting. No one dies because of stomach ulcer. " Sam laughs, he seriously felt fine. He was only at risk of having a hole in his stomach, from the word itself 'at risk', if he takes care of his body from now on, he will soon recover.

" *sighs* It's always better to be more careful. " Zach argued back.

" Okay fine, but I'm really not hurting anywhere. " Sam replied giving up. He already knew Zach was just worried for him.

" Woooow!!! Mommy look look! There's a beach. I wanna play. " As Zach and Sam arguing, Allen noticed the beach at the back of the Villa, he run towards the entrance of the backyard with Alex so Sam and Zach followed the two.

" Wow, It's beautiful Zach! How did you know this place? "

" Dave and his sister owns this place. They're letting us borrow it for the time being until our flight to Canada. " Zach replied hugging Sam, Zach also have a penthouse in the city but he thought it will be risky to use it as a hiding place. When he was looking for a place, Dave offered him the house.

" My sister hasn't been home for 3 years now and I was also busy, this house had been empty. " Dave talked walking towards them smiling, Allen and Alex then also run towards him for a hug.

" Uncle Dave, is this your house? " Allen asked after hugging Dave.

" Yeah, We can play later at the beach if you want. Your mommy is sick so daddy has to take care of him. " Dave offered which the two boys nodded immediately. It's not very often that they can play in the beach because Sam doesn't know how to swim. There wouldn't be anyone to assist them swimming.

" Sorry baby, you know mommy can't swim. I'll be watching you two from a distance okay? " Sam apologized knowing that the twins loves the water.

" Yeah, it's okay mommy. Next time when you're not sick anymore, me and Alex will teach mommy how to swim. " Allen confidently which Alex also nodded agreeing. Sam smiled and nodded okay to the twins before he walked to them.

" Okay, but before that lets get inside first. Aunt Sofia had prepared lunch for us. " Sam said fixing Allen and Alex' slightly crumpled clothes, the two then excitedly squealed before racing with each other to the back door where Dave came out earlier. Sam just giggled looking at the two, he never knew in just two days Sofia had warmed up with the kids. Sam didn't expected Sofia was so good with kids, he really did misjudged her.

" Dave, thank you so much for your help. Both you and Sofia. " Sam chatted as the three now also walked towards the house.

" No problem, Zach had also help us a lot. " Dave replied smiling, Zach had indeed helped both Dave and Sofia many times before and even now with Sofia's parents still trying to break them apart. Zach may have ulterior motive, but he did have a huge part why the couple is now happy despite the problems.

" But still, I want to thank you. You both took care of Allen and Alex, for that I am very thankful. " Sam insisted halting his movements.

" Okay, how about let's continue this talk inside where you can sit and rest? " Zach interrupted having to reconsider whether to carry Sam but thought otherwise because he doesn't want his lover to be angry with him. Hearing Zach's suggestion, Sam agreed along with Dave. When they're finally inside the minimalist interior of the kitchen, Sofia was preparing the table. She was wearing a white apron and had the vibe of a newly married woman. Allen and Alex followed her helping with the spoon and and forks.

" Hey, sorry I wasn't able to meet you outside and Dave to get you instead. I couldn't leave the food. " Sofia smiled then apologized hugging Sam and then Zach before pulling them towards the table.

" I made something light for Sam's stomach as well. " Sofia excitedly, this is because she's always happy to let people eat the food she makes. Whether it's good or bad, she likes to know other people's reactions since Dave would always say her food is good. She already mastered breakfast because it was easy and now practicing higher level meals.

" Thank you. " Sam smiled genuinely noticing Sofia's vibrant personality. ' No wonder Allen and Alex likes her. ' Sam thought, still couldn't get rid of his past impression of the changed woman.

" You've been busy. " Zach commented looking at the various amount of food, wondering how they'll going to finish it all. Sofia hearing Zach's comment just rolled her eyes and grabbed Sam and pushed him to the table to sit where Allen and Alex are now waiting. All excited going to the beach after eating.

The rest of the day went smoothly and temporarily, they've forgotten their problems.
