Viviana was due any day now. She was counting down the minutes, the seconds until she could finally welcome Eiley Rose into the world. She had enough of being pregnant, she was ready to hold her girl and show her all the love.
It was becoming more difficult for her to be traveling to games and sitting such long lengths for a long period of time. She wanted to be there for Christian and watch him play amazingly, but at the same time, her feet were becoming very swollen and she needed to be resting, keeping herself healthy for when Eiley arrived.
While Christian was playing, she watched the game from home on the couch; She had done some cleaning around the house and now was ready to just lay on the couch and call it a night until Christian came home from the game. She wanted more than anything to be there, being able to give him a good luck kiss, tell him that he's doing amazing, but the baby had other plans for her.
Vivi laid on the couch, wearing a very oversized shirt and was covered in blankets as she rubbed her belly. Her stomach was gigantic and with her already being so little, it looked like she had swallowed two whole basketballs. The kicking was becoming more and more prominent, Vivi just took it as a sign that Eiley wanted out, which Vivi would be perfectly fine with. But the pain she suddenly got, was not a kick.
This pain was crippling, debilitating. Almost making her unable to move. She took a deep breath, holding her belly. "That definitely was not a kick from you, Eiley Rose.." She figured she would try and get up to walk around a little, try and walk the pain off. Vivi walked into the kitchen, pacing around the island counter when she felt something trickle down her leg. Looking down, she knew exactly what had just happened. "Oh, shit.." She said, followed by an aggravated groan of pain.
Slowly, she walked back to the couch, grabbing her phone and called Gia.
"Hey girl, what are you up to?" Gia answered.
"Gi, I need you to come get me and take me to the hospital.." Vivi said, tearing up and leaned against the wall, trying to get some of the pain to go away. "I think my water just broke.." She told her sister.
"Oh my god, where's Christian?" She asked, concern in her voice.
"H-He's at his game...I haven't told anyone from his staff yet..Just, please hurry..." She stammered out, starting to cry.
**
Gia arrived shortly after and got Viviana to the hospital as fast as she could. Gia contacted some staff members from the Brewers to alert Christian of what was going on.

"Christian, c'mere." Craig called out to Christian.
"What's up, C?" He asked, looking confused.
"I'm allowing you to leave. We just got word from the hospital that Viviana went into labor." Craig explained, Christian's eyes widened big.
"She, she's not due for another week. Did they say anything else?"
"They just said that she went into labor, and they were giving her pain relief. Go ahead, we got people to cover for you. Go be with your girlfriend and go meet your daughter." Craig told him, patting his back.
Christian nodded, not even bothering to grab his things out of the dugout. He ran to the clubhouse, grabbing his keys and wallet before getting in his car and practically speeding to the hospital.
Christian arrived not long after Vivi had gotten changed and into a room, where she was given an epidural. He didn't even bother to change out of his uniform, he had to get to his girl. He jogged into the room, stopping himself and took a second to catch his breath. "I got here as quick as I got the news. Everything okay?" He asked, going to Vivi and grabbed her hand, kissing her forehead.
"Everything is okay, baby..." Vivi said, exhausted. "I'm only four centimeters dilated, so they gave me an epidural to relieve some of the pain..." She kissed Christian's hand, "I'm okay, though. Eiley is healthy, just decided that she wanted to come a couple days earlier." She said with a small smile on her lips.
"Thank god.." Christian said before kissing Vivi softly. "I'm glad you two are okay.." He looked over at Gia who was sitting on her phone, "Thank you for getting her here, seriously, means a lot.."
Gia smiled at him, "No need to thank me! I wanted to be there for the birth anyways." She fixed her hoodie, sighing, "I can't believe that you're really going to be parents.." She said.
Christian nodded, "Crazy to me...But, I'm ready.." He told her before grabbing a chair and pulled it up next to Viv. "You doing okay..?" He asked, grabbing her hand again.
"I'm doing okay, baby...I'm ready to welcome Eiley into the world.." She said quietly before kissing the side of Christian's head. "I can't believe you came in your uniform..." She giggled.
"I literally just ran to the clubhouse, grabbed my keys and wallet and booked ass here. Lo said he'll bring my street clothes here later." He chuckled, "I had to get here and make sure you were okay!" He told her.
"Well, I appreciate the concern, baby." She smiled, kissing his lips softly. "Thank you for getting here when you could.." Vivi said, kissing him again.

Christian rubbed her belly, "I can't wait to meet her.." He said quietly, "Just come out with no problems.." He looked over at Vivi who looked beyond exhausted. She hadn't even given birth yet but she was just drained. "Baby, why don't you take a little nap? Maybe that'll help subside more pain and move the process along?"
Vivi looked at him with sleepy eyes, "I'm okay.." She said quietly, dozing in and out of sleep. She eventually laid her head back, falling asleep.
**
Christian stayed awake as she slept, making sure her and Eiley were okay. He paced around the room a bit, then would watch the game, trying to get his mind off of things. He just wanted to have his daughter arrive safely with no complications.
"Baby?" Vivi said, voice raspy and quiet. "I'm feeling a lot of pressure, can you get the doctors in here?" She asked, Christian nodded, getting up quickly.
The doctor examined Viviana, "Oh, she's definitely ready to come out. I just need you to push for me, Viv, okay?"
Christian held Vivi's hand as she took a deep breath, clutching on to his hand. He used his free hand to wipe sweat off of her as he kissed her hand. "You're doing amazing, baby.." He whispered to her, wiping more sweat. "Keep going.."
Vivi could feel the epidural starting to wear off, meaning she could feel everything. She buried her head in the crook of Christian's neck as she tightened her grip on his hand. "Oh my god..." She mumbled, letting out a cry of pain.
"You've got this, babygirl. She's almost here.." Christian said as Vivi pushed a final time. They heard Eiley's first cries and Christian couldn't help but smile big. "She's beautiful, baby..." He kissed Vivi's head.
Vivi held her arms out as they cleaned Eiley off and wrapped her in a blanket, handing her to Viviana. "Hi, princess..." She said quietly, kissing her daughter's head softly. "I'm so glad you're finally here..."
Christian was tearing up, leaning over to kiss Eiley's head gently. "Hi, beautiful girl.." He said, kissing her head again. "You are so perfect.." He looked at Vivi, smiling, "Just like her momma.." He said as he kissed her softly.
"Christian, would you like to cut the cord?" The doctor asked, smiling at the couple. Christian nodded and got to do the honors of cutting the cord.
"We're gonna go measure and weigh her, and get her little prints." The doctor smiled, picking up Eiley from Vivi's arms. "You get some rest, momma. You just went through a lot.."
Vivi looked at them, then at Christian, "Go with them...Please." Vivi begged Christian, "She's crying.." She said as she could hear Eiley crying and she couldn't do anything to calm her down.
Christian kissed Vivi quick before going with the nurses. "Hey, why you crying? Daddy's right here.." He said quietly, kissing Eiley's forehead. Once Eiley heard Christian's voice, her crying eased up almost instantly and her beautiful blue eyes looked at Christian.
"You are the most perfect little girl.." He smiled as they weighed her and measured her.
"She's 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Healthy as can be." They wrapped her back up in the blanket and handed her to Christian. He cradled Eiley in his arms, taking every moment in.
Vivi smiled small when she saw them return, "She's okay?" She asked, trying to sit up a little bit, taking Eiley from Christian's arms so she could breastfeed her.
"Healthy and perfect." He said again, sitting next to Viviana and rested a hand on Vivi's arm. "And got her mommy's beautiful eyes.."
Viviana rubbed Eiley's back as she fed her, "Thank god she doesn't have teeth yet.." She laughed quietly, looking at her sister who had fallen asleep, then back at Christian, "Did your team win?"
Christian nodded, smiling, "Yeah, they won. Lo is gonna bring my stuff a little later and then Larisa and Ryan wanna come meet her if that's okay?"
Vivi nodded softly, pulling her shirt back up once Eiley was finished and cradled the tiny girl in her arms. "She's so little.." She commented, putting the little knit beanie back on her daughter's head. "But she's got dark hair, just like her daddy.." She smiled at him.
Christian smiled, leaning over to kiss Vivi gently. "I'm so proud of you...Took everything like a champ, and doctor said there was no complications or anything." He told her, looking down at his daughter who slept peacefully in her mom's arms. "She really is perfect.."
"I can't believe she's here, baby.." Viviana said to Christian, leaning back in the bed as she gently rocked Eiley in her arms. "Do you want to hold her?"
Christian nodded, taking Eiley carefully out of Viviana's arms and cradled her in his. "Crazy to think just a week ago she was kicking in your tummy and now she's really here with us.." He kissed Eiley's forehead, softly. "Truly our beautiful miracle."

Rune
In the world of Rune, there are two kinds of Players. The Crafters, and the Fighters. Fighters level their magic power, fueling the runic items from their own bodies, while crafters use the runes they bring back to develop powerful items using their knowledge of the electronic-like system. Not everything stays that simple, though, and Rune is no exception. Within each region, a number of guilds have sprung up, operating as the unaccountable vanguard of defense for the besieged cities. They don't care to deal fairly, and nobody else has the power to do much about it. (Harem is tagged but it's honestly polyamory. I hate the word harem but given that some people would interpret it as such, in it goes.)
