Viviana and Eiley sat in the living room, watching movies as Christian had been gone all day for work and an evening game. He was going out with some friends after the game, which he needed. Christian needed to get out and be a little stress free. No worries about his family, Viviana had it handled.
"Momma...Bubby cwying.." Eiley said, looking up at her. Viviana nodded, getting up and walked into Sawyer's room, frowning as she picked him up.
"Hey, what's going on?" Viviana cradled Sawyer in her arms, kissing his head. "You're okay, momma's got you.." She whispered, rocking back and forth as she held her son close to her. "Here, you can come out by me and big sissy." She walked out with Sawyer in her arms. "He's gonna watch the movies with us, Eils." She laid on the couch and put Sawyer on her chest as he laid there, slowly falling back asleep.
Christian came home about two hours later and Viviana, Eiley, and Sawyer were all asleep on the couch. He smiled to himself, walking into where they were and picked up Eiley carefully and carried her into her room. He got her to bed before going to grab Sawyer and put him in the bassinet that was in his and Viviana's bedroom, so they could keep a close eye on him. When he got back out to the living room, he kissed Viviana's cheek before picking her up bridal style and carried her to bed. He laid her down, getting her tucked in before she stirred awake and looked over at him.
"Hi, where are the kids..?" Viviana asked as she sat up, rubbing her eyes, "What time is it?"
Christian looked over at her, "It's almost midnight, babe. They're both in bed, Sawyer's right there.." He pointed over to the bassinet. "And Eiley's in her room." He moved to wrap his arms around her. "Everything went okay?" He asked her, kissing her cheek again.
Viviana nodded, "Sawyer was a little fussy, but he laid with Eiley and I as we watched Disney Princess movies and I don't even remember falling asleep," She laughed quietly, laying her head against him, "Did you guys win?"
"We did. I got two homers and then me, Ryan, Travis, Lo, Jacob, Zach, and Mike all went out for a couple drinks. I didn't let myself get too crazy, I wanted to come home and be with you." He replied as he pulled the blanket up. "I'm glad everything went okay for you."
"You needed a little night for you and the guys, babe. I'm glad you had fun." Viviana smiled and kissed him, softly. She pulled away and ran her fingers through his curls, "I think I wanna bring Sawyer to the game tomorrow.."

Christian nodded, a huge smile growing on his lips, "Yeah, baby, please! I want the guys to meet him and I'm sure Eiley would love if her brother came with us."
Viviana smiled, "I was thinking about it, I just didn't know what you would say. I know he's still a little guy, but we were bringing Eiley at this age." She mentioned, looking over at her son who slept peacefully. "I think it'll be cool and fun.."
"I agree, babe." Christian replied, "Everyone will love him." He chuckled, shaking his head, "He's gonna be a chick magnet."
"Oh, definitely. His daddy got all the ladies, and if people know Christian Yelich is his dad? That'll be a bonus for him. Most popular kid in school." Viviana giggled, "But, at the same time, I don't want him to have friends just because you're his dad, y'know? I want him to be his own person. Sawyer Yelich, the beautiful boy who just so happens to have a professional baseball player as his dad."
Christian nodded, "I agree. That's how I am with Eiley. When we send her to school, my biggest thing is people just wanting to be her friend because I'm her dad. Because they probably will put two and two together and if she's wearing a Yelich jersey, and people find out her last name is Yelich.." He told Viviana, sighing.
Viviana nodded too, "And I also don't want her being bullied. I know she's gonna be proud to say 'hey, that's my dad!' if a kid is wearing one of your jerseys or something, but at the same time, I feel like kids are going to pick on her.." She moved to lay her head on Christian's chest. "She's already sensitive, and I don't need that."
"I agree with you, babe. I don't want our kids ever being bullied. Or the bullies will deal with me." Christian laughed, pulling Viviana close. "I love you so much. You're such a great momma."
Viviana rolled her eyes, "You tell me that all the time. Can I just talk about you for once?" She smiled, kissing his jawline.
"No, I like talking about you. You are my wife after all."
"Well, I like telling you how amazing you're doing. And you need to hear it more often. You get stressed easily and I don't want that to happen. If you're ever working, I don't want you to stress about me being home with the kids. I am perfectly fine. Plus? Eiley helps me out and I appreciate her so much for it. You are an amazing father, it came so natural for you." Viviana told him, kissing him. "I am so proud of you. You have worked so hard, and you are such an amazing parent. You are so appreciated and so loved."

Christian smiled at his wife, kissing her again. "I love you so much."
"And I love you.."

Viviana dressed Sawyer in a Brewers onesie, slipping on a pair of little pants on him as she got him and Eiley ready to go watch Christian at his game. This would be Sawyer's first game, so the nerves were running high through Vivi. She knew Christian was going to stress himself out over it, but she had this handled.
"Momma, bubby okay?" Eiley asked, looking at her then looked and fixed her own shirt. "This daddy?"
Viviana smiled, holding Sawyer and nodded, "Bubby is fine and yeah, that's daddy on your shirt! Good job on getting dressed all by yourself!"
Eiley giggled, "I so happy to see daddy pway!"
"Me too, Eils. Do you wanna do me a favor and grab Sawyers blanket off of the couch? We're gonna put it in his carrier so he's comfy at the game." Viviana asked Eiley as she nodded and ran out of Sawyer's room.
When they got to Miller Park, Viviana pushed Sawyer in the stroller and Eiley walked, holding onto the side of the stroller. Christian walked out of the locker room, smiling when he saw his wife and kids, "There they are!"
Eiley saw Christian and giggled, running towards him. "Daddy!!" She exclaimed, jumping up as he picked her up and kissed her cheek.
"Hi, princess! Look at you all dressed up for the game." He smiled and looked at Viviana, "Is my little man awake?" He walked over, still holding Eiley.
"Yeah, he just woke up, actually." She smiled at him, kissing him lightly. Christian set Eiley down and unbuckled Sawyer from his seat and held him.
"Hey, little man!" He smiled, holding his son as he kissed his head. "I got to give you the tour like I did when Eiley was little!" Christian said, looking at Viviana, "If you two wanna go wait in the clubhouse, I'm gonna go give my little man a tour of the place." He told them.
Eiley looked at him, "I come too?"
"No, Eils, this tour is just for Sawyer, I'm sorry. Go play in the clubhouse! Uncle Ryan's in there!"
Eiley gasped, "Unc Ry!?" She smiled big, "Momma! Go!" She grabbed Viviana's shirt, tugging on it.
Viviana smiled, "Have fun, we'll be in the clubhouse." She walked with the stroller and Eiley into the clubhouse. Eiley ran in front of her, Viviana quickly lost sight of her. "Eiley Rose!" She shook her head.
"Unc Ry!!!!" Eiley yelled as she went in, finding Ryan and giggled.
Ryan smiled as he heard a familiar voice, "I recognize that little giggle from anywhere." He picked Eiley up, "How are you doing?"
Viviana walked in with the stroller, "Christian said you were in here and she just took off." She smiled.
"Christian take the little guy?" He asked, holding Eiley on his hip.
She nodded, "Yeah, had to give him a tour of the place like he did with Eiley," Viviana laughed.
"Unc Ry, I got new thing!" She showed him her shirt. "Daddy got for me."
"No way!" He smiled at Eiley, "I wish Celine and Grey were here, but Larisa had things back home to take care of."
Viviana nodded, "It took a lot of convincing out of Christian to allow me to bring Sawyer. Eiley was his age when we brought her to her first game.."
Christian walked in the clubhouse holding Sawyer, "And this is where we get to hang out before the games, the best place to be.." He smiled, looking at Viviana, "Hi, beautiful. Sawyer loved his tour.."
"Daddy, you here!" Eiley smiled, looking at him.
"I see you found Uncle Ryan," Christian laughed, taking Eiley from Ryan, "She was excited to show you her shirt."
"You got cute kids, Yeli. Lemme see the little man." Ryan held Sawyer.
Viviana looked at them, smiling. "Sawyer's got like all of Christian's facial features."
"Oh, I definitely see Christian in him," Ryan laughed, "Can't believe Yeli's a father of two."
Christian shook his head, "I can't believe it either. But, I wouldn't want it any other way."
Ryan smiled, "Feeling better now? Not so overwhelmed about everything?" He asked Christian, noticing how Christian's face had changed. He hadn't really told Viviana about how he was feeling.
"Definitely. I am feeling a lot better. Just needed to allow myself to breathe like you said."
And he did. He really needed to allow himself to breathe to be able to see the bigger picture and realize that his family was going to be okay.

The most challenging MMO ever created—that’s how they advertised it. Taglines like, “Not your granddaddy’s game,” and, “Only for the hardest of the hardcore,” had gamers going crazy. Set in a gothic, Lovecraftian world, with fully realized A.I. NPCS, gamers were desperate to get their hands on the new game and dive in, and Clay was one of them. It was going to be tough, but he was ready for it. What he wasn’t ready for, was countless players having their minds hijacked and being transformed into mindless, hostile creatures filled with nothing but hate who killed anyone on sight. They called them the Bloodless. Clay’s best and only friend, Rey, moved across the country she was twelve, but they kept in touch online, playing countless games together, and when Blood Seekers was released, they were both ready to step up to the plate and face the new challenge together. But now, Rey has been taken by the plague, her mind held hostage as one of the Bloodless. A mysterious black monolith has appeared at the center of the highest level zone in the game, a place no one has even come close to. Some say it will provide us with answers. Others say it will only lead to more questions. Who’s behind all this? Why are people’s minds being taken? Will we ever get to bring them back? How many more will be lost if we stay logged in? Nothing is certain, but if there’s any chance that reaching the monolith will bring Rey back back, then Clay will do everything he can to reach it. This is Book 1 in a new series from Stephen Roark!
