"Really? That's unexpected"

"I didn't think they'd go that far"

"It's most likely rumours. Don't trust people that much"

The gossiping had been a real pain in the ass and the worst thing to wake up to so early in the morning. It was strange and unusual and the glares felt more judgmental today than it usually did. Someone had said something and it wasn't good. Hange groaned placing her breakfast at the table sitting in between Nanaba and Mike.

"What's going on? Why's everyone staring? Did I leave my hair in more of a mess today?"

"Why would anybody be surprised at that?", Levi questioned with his tea in his hands taking a place in front of her.

"You haven't heard?", Nanaba shot another question "Some information leaked out that you twodid something you shouldn't have done last night". She explained pointing at Levi and Hange. Levi choked on his tea coughing as hard as Hange spluttered hers. They blinked several times exchanging looks and looking at Nanaba.

"We?", they both asked at the same time still looking clueless. Erwin stormed into the hall walking over at their direction. Without uttering a single word, he signalled for the two dumb-founded adults to come with him. With hesitation, they stood up, dragging their feet along with them as they left and receiving stares. Erwin locked the doors behind him as Levi and Hange came into his office. They stood next to each other, Levi looking fearless however Hange was desperate in this situation.

"Care to tell me where you were yesterday?", Erwin asked taking his seat as he stared intensely.

"What is this? Some sort of interrogation?", Levi spat out.

"Hange. Levi. I would like you two to know that the survey corps isn't a joke and definitely not a place for-"

"It sort of is a joke since people die for no reason here. And if it was for Hange we would've found barely anything about those ruthless things."

"Be quiet, Levi and let me finish. News came to my office that you were in Hange's room last night doing something that is indeed forbidden. We are meant to be leading a good example for anyone else out there. Especially you two. Humanity's strongest soldier and our one and only scientist and researcher-"

"Thanks for the praise, Eyeb-", Hange had her hand over Levi's mouth frowning down at him.

The possible thing he could read from her face was only 'Be quiet' and whatever nickname accompanied that. Be it 'short-ass' or 'grumps'. He rolled his eyes in ignorance. Hange decided to handle this.

"We've not done anything or gone too far. Levi and I are comrades. And just comrades. Whoever spread such rumours is lying. And it's not my place to explain why he was with me last night. But I do promise you that I'll do all in my power to maintain our good reputation here in the survey corps"

"What's good about the reputation?", Levi muffled before having his leg stepped on by the woman next to him. Erwin massaged the tip of his nose sighing.

"Levi... I know you don't care about what you are thought of but please try and fit in with the rest of your comrades. It's helps in team work. And a lot of people look up to you even if they don't show it. I thought Hange would've done a good enough job of helping you out"

"HEH?!", her scream held a sad tone and a hint of disappointment.

"You may go", Erwin finished pointing at the door. Hange left the room along with Levi behind him whining in a low voice.

They closed the door silently and heaved a long sigh. This was too unexpected. Levi turned to leave heading to his bedroom.

"Don't give me the cold shoulder, Levi. I swear it wasn't me. I didn't say anything"

"Of course you didn't. It was some absolute creep who chose to spy on us late at night. And then brought up some dumb bullshit to try and humiliate us. Seriously who in their right mind? Oi, four eyes... when's the next time we go sightseeing?"

Hange drew her attention to him "Sightseeing?... oh! Probably soon. Erwin should know the definite day. Why?"

"SECTION COMMANDER! SEC-", Moblit ran up to them panting and interrupting their discussion. " It took me ages to find you. You need to come real quick. Something's happened and it's not good."

Hange quickly followed behind along with Levi. As soon as they left the building, a horrible sight caught Hange's eyes. There was steam all over the place. It took a matter of seconds before she let out a crying scream running to where the titans once lay.

"SAWNEY! BEAN! WHO DID THIS TO YOU?!", she was holding her hair and bawling her eyes out. "I'LL FIND THEM AND WHEN I DO I'LL MAKE SURE NOT A LIMB OF THIERS IS LEFT!" She had completely fallen on the floor in grief and sorrow whilst Moblit was all over the place urging her to get up.

"Who do you think is the culprit?", Erwin asked from behind Eren before making a dramatic exit with Levi. All vertically manoeuvring gears were inspected and there was no evidence if the Titans' murderer being amongst the members of the survey corps. Hange was stopping there. Not at all.

Erwin had already given out the information to ride to Zhiganshina district to locate the basement of Eren's destroyed home. The survey corps' procedure was going as planned. However not long after, what seemed too real to be an abnormal or normal Titan came in from the right flank causing too much of a destruction.

Reiner, Armin and Jean had come up with some plan of their own using Reiner as bait to distract the "Female Titan" which in the act had been seemingly crushed by her. Miraculously he escaped from her grip but she was now running at a direction away from where Reiner, Jean and Armin were.

"H-hey... It's heading towards where Eren and Captain Levi are...", Jean pointed out staring backwards at the Titan.

Soldiers were being mercilessly killed by the female Titan that was currently chasing after Levi and his squad. He had prioritised silence and wasn't giving out any instructions and so soldiers took matters into their own hands.

After series of murder and dead soldiers, Levi had returned to find Petra behind a tree. But instead of dead she was in a ball sobbing.

"Petra?"

"Captain! Captain, I am so glad you're here but you're too late. The female Titan... she killed Eld, Gunther and Oluo. I only managed to barely escape. It was so sudden so I used the manoeuvring gears to hide between the trees till she was out of sight. I'm a coward and no soldier, I know but I was paralysed in such fear... I can't afford to die"

She had her hands covering her face as she sobbed into them.

"The Titan was captured for a short period of time before it decided to call some friends. Hange and Erwin were trying to find ways to get the damn person out of the Titan but at the mean time... Hey... where's Eren?"

"Oh him? He ran off to fight the female Titan after he thought we were all dead"

"Tch that dim witted fool", Levi muttered under his breath heading for their direction. He was welcomed with a desperate Mikasa trying to save Eren and a fight between them. As the Captain, he had swooped in to save both Mikasa and Eren after being insulted by Mikasa for not keeping a close eye on Eren.

Levi cut open the jaw of the female Titan cracking his ankle in the process and revealing an unconscious Eren covered in Titan whatsoever.

"He's still alive. Filthy though", Levi muttered again. Mikasa felt relieved at that very moment but received a strict coaching from Levi.

"I see... so he means more than just an unrelated brother to you"

She went red in embarrassment with a reply of "it's nothing like that" whilst following behind him.

Now the survey corps had another issue to deal with. The female Titan with its own will just like Eren. Not like a mindless Titan.
