It had taken an entire day, but Mikasa was sure she had fixed everything with them. They now were lying in the grass if the local park. Mikasa and Annie both wore flower crowns Annie had made on their head. The blonde girls head rested on Mikasa's ribs with her eyes closed.

Not many people Mikasa new would try as hard as she did to keep the person she loved happy. She had also learned a lot from this experience with Annie, no longer would she act so much as protective over Eren but more as a sister who just laughed and joked with him. Being over protective was driving him away, and she just didn't see that before but now she did.

Mika looks down at the sleeping girl and smiled to herself. Annie's eyes fluttered open to see Mikasa staring at her. Annie moved off of her and lied down right next to her.

"Mikasa," she said quietly.

"Yes?" Mikasa looked over at her.

Annie kissed the other girl's cheek, "I love you," she whispered.

Mikasa turned on her side and kissed Annie's lips, "I love you, too."
