3person - August 12, 1988
Steve walked into the room in his new uniform, studying the new room he would be in for a couple years before he had to choose what he wanted to do with his life.
He jolts forward as he gets a pat on the back, "Get used to it kid, with whatever the hell that creature was gone, this is where your gonna be 9 hours of the day. Have fun." Hopper pointed to a desk in the corner before placing his hands back on his belt and heading for his office. Steve took the hint and sat down.
He sat forward for a second, hands on his knees just looking around. Dustin and the rest of the kids had advised him to take the job offered to him by Hop, 'you can't fight for life of you, but you do like to protect the kids. Put it to good use.' He remembered the boys (and girl) agreeing with Hop. 'You do do that.'
He leaned back in his chair, finally looking at some papers on his desk. Blank. For drawing? He thinks, pulling his seat further up to the desk taking a good look at the empty table. Empty. So empty, he'd wished he'd have brought something to cover the clearing on it, a mug, a picture, just something. He thought of getting Jonathan to use his new camera to get a picture of all of them. Of course with everyone in it. He can see his stuff all over the desk already.
He hears a small radio sound from the other side of the room before one of the other officers jumps from his desk toward Hop's private room. Steve props his feet up on the desk and starts mindlessly twirling the keys, focusing on the conversation in the room in front of him. "Theres a kid on the street speeding all over town." Steve hears as the guy say, but he lowers his voice at the sight of Steve staring at him. The rest is inaudible. But Steves ear perk up at his name being uttered. "Send Steve after him," Steve looks at Hop who is staring back, winking, "I'm sure he'd have fun."

Steve launches his feet off of the desk and on the floor. The other officer walks out of Hop's room in the direction of Steves desk. He stops, leaning onto the desk and looking at Steve in the eye. "You're friend Munsons out and about again." The officer tosses him the keys and walks away, "he's on the left side of town, good luck on the drive Harrington." Steve froze, he wasn't sure if he was being hate crimed or not, but the guy was clearly salty about Steve getting to get out of the office just as quick as he got there.
Steve sat his new drive, the town paid police car. He was up tight in the car but as his back touched the back of the seat, he was snug. He placed the key in the ignition firing it up, feeling hot already. He placed one hand on the steering wheel, his arm resting on the inner console. He looked at himself through the rear view mirror, blowing himself a kiss, gaining a new smirk on his face. Steve grabs a pair of sunglasses out of his shirt pocket, resting them on the brim of his nose and popping a piece of gum in his mouth and heading out of the parking lot.
He was on the road, lightly playing some music and looking at each corner of the streets. He came up to a three way stop sign. Steve sat for a second, getting an itchy feeling he would see something here. He stared at the two exits in front of him. Before he knows it, a car is speeding past him from the left. He quickly turns on his lights, the car blaring a loud sound and he shoves his hands on the wheel, pressing his foot into the peddle and getting up to speed with the car in front of him. He smiled to himself knowing his instincts as a cop/parent worked. And that he'd caught the son of a bitch in that dirty old silver car Eddie had.

After a 3 minute chase, Steve followed the car into a dingy part of town. Somewhere no one will find them. Steve shivered at the thought. Is that why Eddie needed to get here? Had he been driving around town to get Steves attention? Steve shook his head, driving him out of his thought before it brought out the nasty part of him. He's on the job, and Eddie definitely wouldn't do that. That he knows of at least.
Stopped behind Eddie's car, Steve prepares himself to look at Eddie again.
(Steve's POV)
I wipe my sweaty hand off on my uniform, open my door, and closing it as I step away from the car. I take a deep breath strutting toward the side of Eddie's car, putting on a faux 'I'm feeling sexy' face on and trying my best not to show any sign of stress. I get up to the window, to find its rolled all the way up. I knock with a closed fist and leave my hand there a second. I pull my hand down to my side as the window rolls down. Eddie's face is hidden under his hair, and both of his hands are still on the wheel. "Morning Munson." I say. He lets go of the wheel, his hands falling on his thighs and he grips them. Leaning his head back into the headrest, revealing his face and neck. I lose my breath at the sight. Head still leaned back, he looks at me; "Morning Harrington."
I clear my throat. His face clearly accomplished in making me flustered. He wore that shit-eating grin that he wore every time he got me on my toes. I shove my embarrassment to the back of my head and reset my mind. Focus Steve. Focus damn it, I scream in my mind. I place my arm over the opening in the car, resting my forehead on my forearm. "You know, speeding around town like that could get you in a lot of trouble Munson." He scoffed, shifting his weight to face me. "That's what I was hoping for." He says, pulling a hand out of the car to touch my chest. I grab his arm and push it back in the car. I step away from the car, pull out a note pad, scribbling something down and handing it to him. "Flirting with me isn't gonna get you out of a ticket. And it definitely won't with the other guys." He looks at the note and looks back at me, unbuckling himself and standing up in his seat. He leaned out of his car, grabbing me by the shirt, pulling me and kissing me harshly. "Looks like I just did Harrington." He said before sinking back in the car and speeding off. "YOU'RE GONNA GET YOURSELF KILLED OUT HERE MUNSON!!" I yelled after him. He clearly doesn't listen as he drives off into the distance.

A century after World War III left the planet a nuclear wasteland, earth is nearly unrecognizable. Alien ‘Benefactors’ have taken control of North America’s most populous cities and built indomitable walls around them, defending their inhabitants but trapping them under a totalitarian rule. Alone and reeling from the effects of a previously sheltered life, her only ray of hope is Reza City, built upon the ruins of what used to be Phoenix, Arizona. True, the Benefactors have a strict ban on self-aware artificial intelligence in place, but that should only prove an issue if they realize she’s an AI. Chaos uploaded
At year 2100, there was a new game that was being developed: "Realms of chaos" With cutting edge technology, realistic physics(At least, as far as fantasy-medieval worlds goes), and immersion to the point one could believe it was real, it is destined to become world-wide famous. Two siblings, Nysa and Inas, received the right of beta-testing the game, along with other players...although with the beta-test, many difficulties came together with it: Unfair enemies, lack of clues, lack of linear paths, and above all, no set of rules of how one should play. Nysa, being the less competitive out of the two siblings, has decided to play the game just for fun.But little does she knows how much the action of a single player, who just wants to explore and have fun, can change the realm of chaos. This is my first story, and I'll upload whenever I manage to get through the writers' block.Due to college starting, uploads might be erratic. Feel free to review and comment!
