as soon as she entered the practice room, she sat next to her bestfriend, lalisa.

"chae, what's that on your jaw?" lalisa asked, trying to touch her bruised jaw but she slapped her hand away.

"it's nothing."

"kim ji-soo, jennie kim, park chaeyoung."

chaeyoung looked up, and saw a man standing at the doorway. she gave one last glance at lalisa before standing up.

"the ceo is requesting for you in his office." he spoke again, and this time much more louder.

she followed the two other girls who are probably kim jisoo and jennie kim, then they went out the door.

the man returned to the practice room again and said, "i forgot one more. pranpriya manoban."

chaeyoung's eyes widened and her gaze fell upon her bestfriend. they locked eyes for a moment until lalisa followed her and help one of her hands.

"why're we being called?" lalisa whispered while they were on their way to the office.

"i don't know.." chaeyoung lied.

she did know why, but she just has to act like she didn't.
