《Fake Dating the Bad Boy》Chapter 10- Cole Williams is a God!

'Cole!! Don't! Get down!!' I screamed as I looked up at Cole. He was sat on the railings of the balcony, his legs dangling over the pool below. Oh no, he is going to try and jump into the pool and in the drunk mess he is in, he's most likely going to fall, not jump, fall.
'Cole! You might fall and miss the pool!' I screamed.
He laughed goofily before his eyes landed on me, 'Princess!!' He shouted down at me as he swayed his legs.
My heart was beating fast now and I had a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach, oh God I hope he doesn't fall. Please don't fall and die. Please don't fall and die. Please don't fall I die.
'Right! You spaghetti?!!' Cole shouted as he grinned widely.
'Ready!!!' Everyone shouted back, except me, I was now hyperventilating and couldn't bear to watch.
'Alla-Kazoo ah!' Cole screamed, followed by a loud splashed.
Well I think that's what he screamed.. how can you tell when someone's drunk and rambling random words?
I sighed in relief as I heard the splash, before I quickly looked up from the floor.
People started jumping in from everywhere and before I knew it I was pushed into the pool.
I screamed as I landed in someone's arms. Coles arms.
'You are an idiot.' I said as I frowned.
He smirked and he didn't look drunk, probably because he threw up so many times and the water probably woke him up, 'How?'
'Because you could of died!' I shivered from the cold water.
'But I didn't.' He replied, as he swam through all the people to the edge of the pool, me still in his arms.
'That's not the point! You could of died! There was a possibility that you could of died.' I sighed as Cole lifted me up onto the edge before he hoisted himself up and sat down next to me, our legs dangling in the water.

The bottom of my dress was soaked but luckily my hair was dry.
'Aw, we're you worried about me?' He cooed as he smirked.
I frowned at him, 'No.' I muttered.
He grinned as he lifted my head to face him, 'Yes you were.'
My eyes widened as I stared at him. Cole looked so beautiful, like a God, his eyes were just so blue!! His hair was matted to his forehead, soaking wet but it looked hot. I've always known Cole was hot but damn.
'Are you going to keep staring at my gorgeous face or are you going to answer my question?' Cole joked as he raised an eyebrow.
I must of dazed off, 'What question?' I asked as I sighed.
'It doesn't matter. Come on, let's try and find a towel.' He said as he jumped up.
He quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me up to standing.
I frowned, 'No. I want to know what the question is.'
He ignored me as he quickly started walking through all the dancing people, my hand still in his. He, then, walked into the house, which smelt of alcohol and the music was even louder than before. He quickly stomped down the hallway and then stopped at a doorway, to which he opened the door to reveal a large bathroom. He sighed in relief as he realized no one was in there before he pulled me in with him and shut the door behind us.
'How did you know this was a bathroom?' I asked as I watched him, he was rummaging through cupboards, looking for towels, it's weird how at the start of the night, I was looking after Cole and how by the end of the night, Cole was looking after me.
'Because I've been to Niell's house loads of times.' He muttered as he carried on looking through cupboards.

I quickly jumped up and started to look through other cupboards and draws.
'Ew! Gross! What the actual hell?!' I shouted as I opened a large cupboard which was filled with condoms, used and not used.
Cole laughed as he saw it, 'Classic Niell.'
'Finally!' Cole sighed as he threw a towel at me, which landed on my head.
'Thanks.' I scoffed as I rubbed the towel against my body, attempting to dry the wet.
'No problemo.' He grinned before he rubbed the towel over his head.
My breath hitched as Cole pulled his soaking wet top off, to reveal an extremely toned body! Abs! Six pack! Oh my Gosh! V line! Muscles!
Okay! Cole Williams is a God!
'God, stop staring.' Cole sighed in a high pitch voice, obviously pretending to be a girl.
I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. I tried to avert my eyes to a different direction but.. Yeah, his body!!
I gasped slightly as Cole tensed his muscles, to which Cole smirked.
'I'm guessing you like what you see, princess.' Cole teased, his voice smooth as he walked towards me.
I stayed quiet, not because I couldn't think of a comeback, but because I was speechless.
Cole and I were now face to face, I quickly moved my eyes to his face. He was staring at me, smirking, the towel now resting on his shoulder.
'You can stare all you want.' He said smirking, his warm breathe fanning my face.
Why can't I speak?!
I quickly snapped out of my daze as the door bursted open.
I quickly turned around to see a pretty brunette in a little dress which was half way up her bum.
'I need a piss!' She shouted as she stumbled around the bathroom.
I looked up at Cole, he was staring at the girl's ass, smirking.
I quickly punched his shoulder before I crossed my arms.
He turned his head to me as he frowned, 'What?'
'You're supposed to be my boyfriend.' I shouted as I turned my nose up at him.
He grinned before he quickly pulled his top back on, 'Well then, let's get out of here, girlfriend.' He said loudly.
I smiled up at him as we walked out of the bathroom, before I quickly looked back at the girl, who was now laid in the bath tub.
__________
'Can't you stay here the night?' Cole asked for the fifth time, as he pouted.
We were now outside Cole's house, Cole was standing outside the car next to the car window, his arm around Alex, who was still asleep.
'No, I'll go home.' I sighed.
'No! Princess! Besides I want my car! So, if you're going home you're walking home.' He smirked.
I scoffed as I raised an eyebrow, before I quickly jumped out of the car. 'Fine then! I guess I'm walking.'
I flicked my hair behind my shoulder before I turned around to walk away.
'Wait! Don't actually!' Cole struggled to say as Alex leaned on him.
I smirked at him, 'Why?'
He rolled his eyes, 'Just, please, stay here.'
The smirk remained on my face as I folded my arms, 'Fine. But only because I'm too tired to walk all the way home.'
Cole smiled slightly as he struggled to hold up Alex.
Looks like I'm sleeping at Cole's house, for the second time in a row.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
