《Fake Dating the Bad Boy》Chapter 13- An eventful Thursday Evening

'The curve will cross the y-axis when X equals zero, which gives you y equals minus six.' I explained to Cole.
'Do you have any pets?' Cole asked admiring the living room.
We are both led down on the floor, on the fluffy rug, in my house, and I'm trying to teach Cole Quadratic Graphs. Oh and school was a drag today, as usual.
'Cole!' I groaned as I rested my head in my hand.
'What?' He asked, smirking.
'Will you please just focus?' I sighed as my eyes traced his face.
His hair was still fluffy and in a messy quiff, his eyes were now more green than blue, I prefer green, wait, no I don't. I love both.
'No, will you please just focus?' Cole mimicked my voice.
'I'm focused.' I replied fake smiling.
'Yeah, on my face.' Cole grinned.
'No!' I scoffed.
'What's nine plus ten?' Cole asked before he laughed goofily.
'Nineteen.' I sighed before I shook my head.
'Ugh, you're no fun.' He sighed.
'Okay.' I replied bluntly.
'You wanna know who is fun?' Cole asked grinning before he frowned.
'I don't care, Cole. Will you please just try and learn this?' I sighed.
'Fine, fine, fine.' Cole muttered.
'Right, so if the curve crosses the y axis on this one, what will-'
Cole suddenly poked me in the ribs to which I raised my eyebrow and poked him back. Cole poked me again and again until I decided to tackle him, even though we were already led down, I tackled his upper body, which failed so I ended up landing straight on top of him.
'You're an idiot.' I said sighing, as I looked down at him.
'You're an idiot.' He mimicked my voice as he wrapped his arm round my back, to which I got goosebumps.
I frowned slightly as we stared at each other in silence. Cole had no expression on his face, he was just staring straight up at my face.
'Honey, I'm home!!' My mum shouted as the front door slammed.
I quickly tried to jump up off of Cole but struggled to, as he didn't move his arm.
'Cole!' I hissed.

'So this is Cole!' My mum exclaimed as she entered the room with seven big shopping bags.
'Uh, yeah.' I muttered, as Cole moved his arm and I quickly jumped up to standing.
'Nice to meet you, Ms. Valentine' Cole said calmly as he also jumped up to standing.
'Oh don't call me that, call me Ms. V, or Jan, Janet, I don't know, whatever you want.' She smiled.
'Ms. V, oh wow mum.' I snorted.
'What?' She asked innocently as she placed her shopping bags on the floor next to the sofa.
'I think Ms. V is cool.' Cole smirked at me.
'How's your tutor session going? Is Liv a good teacher?' My mum asked Cole as she folded her arms.
Cole looked at me before he looked back at my mum, 'Eh, she's alright I guess, not great.'
'Well, you're not the easiest to teach! You get distracted easily.' I cried.
'No, I don't.' Cole said calmly as he shook his head dramatically at my mum.
To which my mum laughed at the two of us before she said, 'Right, I'll leave the two of you to it, are you staying for tea Cole?'
'Oh no, it's fine, I'm meeting a friend at McDonald's later.' He replied.
'Okay, only if you're sure.' She smiled before she left the room.
'Who?' I asked him as I folded my arms.
'Someone.' He replied bluntly.
'Is it a girl?' I asked out of curiosity.
'Why do you care?' He asked as he raised an eyebrow.
'I don't! It's just that people think we're dating, so you can't really go off with another girl in public.' I scoffed, keeping my arms crossed against my chest.
Cole frowned before he smirked, 'Well, it's not a girl, if you must know.'
'Oh.' I replied bluntly as I sat on the sofa.
'It's just Trent.' He sighed as he sat down next to me.
'He likes your friend Georgia.' He said before I could say anything.
'Gee?' I asked, a smile growing on my face.
'Yeah he said he's going to ask her out on a date this Saturday.' Cole nodded to himself, as he put his hands behind his head.

'Oh my God! Why didn't you tell me this sooner?! She'll be so happy!' I exclaimed.
'Will she?' Cole asked as he stared ahead, obviously not interested, or not listening at all.
'Ugh, yes!' I scoffed.
'Maybe we should go out on Saturday.' Cole muttered quietly as he rubbed the back his neck.
'What? Like a date?' I asked confused.
'No. We could just hangout together.' He started, 'But only because our friends are out without us.' He stuttered.
'Where's Alex going on Saturday?' I asked, frowning.
'Family party or something.' Cole replied.
'Where shall we go?' I asked, smiling.
'Anywhere, I'll be bored in the house.' Cole said as he closed his eyes.
'A meal?' I insisted.
'I didn't mean anything fancy.' Cole muttered as he opened one eye, he sounded angry for some reason.
'Okay, sorry. God, your mood swings confuse me.' I muttered under my breath.
'Mood swings?! Don't just assume I have mood swings, you know nothing about me.' Cole said loudly as he bolted up.
I frowned up at him, a bit taken back before I also jumped up to stand next to him.
'You know what, fuck this, don't bother with Saturday.' He sighed as he walked out of the room, before I could say anything.
'Wait, Cole!' I shouted as I ran after him and out of the front door, slamming it behind me.
'Cole? What are you doing?' I waved my arms around as I watched him walk down to his car.
'Leaving!' He shouted as he opened his car door.
'Why?! Cole! Wait!' I shouted as I ran down to his car.
'Why are you leaving?' I asked sighing as I watched him jump into the car.
'Because Liv! I don't want to be here with you.' He shouted as he slammed his car door shut and drove off.
______________
I don't want to be here with you.
The words have been replaying over and over in my head all night.
I felt angry at first, then furious because I've done nothing wrong, well at least I don't think I have..
And then I was sad.
And now I'm crying....
It's either angry crying or sad crying, I can't tell. I know, I'm stupid for crying, but I guess my emotions are just running high and I've been overthinking all night. What if Cole actually hates me and can't stand being with me and the only reason he agreed to 'date' me was out of pity?
It all happened so fast. Nothing even happened, did it? Cole got angry, that's it. I don't understand, like I said before, I can't even explain to you how much my mind is fucked up right now.
'Maybe he's bipolar.' Gee cried as she handed me another tissue.
As soon as Cole left I rang Gee and she came around straight away. I would've spoke to my mum about it all, but she left to go to an important meeting and I didn't want to put her off things.
'No that's extreme.' I sobbed.
'Like I've told you, he didn't mean it!!' She smiled sympathetically.
'You don't know that.' I struggled to say through sobs.
'Im not even crying about him, I'm crying because I'm so angry at him! What gives him the right to say that to me when I've done absolutely nothing wrong?!' I shouted as I sniffled.
'Boys are idiots.' Gee sighed as she patted my back.
'I know.' I sighed.
'Are you thinking about tomorrow, as well?' Gee asked frowning.
'What's tomorrow?' I frowned.
'You're meeting Aaron at the park.' Gee snorted slightly. 'How could you forget?'
'Oh yeah, I haven't really thought about that.' I replied as I finally stopped crying.
'Oh. Because usually if someone has a lot going on in their mind,' Gee started, 'they can get overwhelmed and well, cry?' She stated, making it sound more like a question.
'Oh.' I replied bluntly before I laughed slightly.
'How about we watch Mean Girls and order a pizza?' Gee smiled slightly.
'Yeah, definitely.' I grinned.
'Don't overthink anymore, okay? Let's just focus on Regina George and what fetch actually is.' Gee jumped up quickly.
'You always cheer me up, Gee.' I grinned, feeling happy again.
She smiled before she replied, 'What are best friends for?'

The Due
Every sailor knows the tale of Davy Jones' Locker. That place drowned sailors are sent to, ever resting on sea's bed. Some tales recount of a ghostly ship, the Flying Dutchman. Many a story has spawned from these two tales. Countless retellings mixing in their own fictions. But all stories spawn with a kernel of truth to them, and the story of Davy Jones is no exception. Those who've met the legendary seaman and his ghostly ship might call him a ferryman, escorting the drowned to their respective afterlives. Others might call him a devil, meting punishment on those deserving. The true story is always slightly different. Davy Jones is a ferryman, but not one for the afterlife, as Walter finds out. No, Davy Jones manages those who die at sea while in debt, and Walter died with a lot of debt. Unable to pay, Davy puts Walter to work. The specter has just the job for the dead college graduate. Another god, Sod, needs an afterlife for his new world. Davy tasks Walter with the job. Suddenly, Walter finds himself having to run a fledgling underworld with little instruction from Sod. To top it off, the denizens of Sod's world have their own ambitions to achieve godhood, and they won't take kindly to Sod's newest employee shaking up the status quo. [Traumatizing Content tag is up just to let everyone know this will be a story that deals with different themes of death. Some of them won't be nice and so better to be safe than sorry.]
