'Liv honey, I have to tell you something.' My mum said with a worried expression, as she sat down opposite me at the kitchen table.
'Yeah?' I replied, knowing what was coming.
'Tomorrow..'
'You have to leave?' I cut her off as I took a bite out of my pancake.
'At 5 in the morning, maybe earlier.' She whispered as though she didn't want me to hear.
'Look, sweetie, this is always hard for me .. and you of course, and I don't want to go back to New York! I hate leaving-'
'Mum' I started as I laughed, 'its fine, honestly, I'm used to it, it's fine I promise, you have to work.' I smiled as I drank my orange juice.
'Are you sure? If I had the choice, you know that I would definitely stay here, right?' My mum said as she bit her nails.
'Mum, honestly, it's fine, don't worry about me. I'll be fine, I always am fine, how long do you have to go for?' I asked smiling.
'1 or 2 weeks, maybe longer, I never really know, could even be less than week.' She replied as she fidgeted in her seat.
'Yeah.' I replied bluntly.
My phone suddenly vibrated loudly on the table, I quickly picked it up to see a text from Cole.
'Tutor session at 12, yeah?x'
I frowned as I read the message before I quickly sent, 'What?x'
'We agreed that we'd have one every Sunday at 12.'
Woah, I never knew Cole was such a fast replier.
'Wtf, when?' I sent.
'At the party Friday.' My phone flashed.
'Ugh, no, come tomorrow after school.'
'Nah nah, I'm coming now you lazy shit, have you even looked at the time?'
I scoffed as I read the message, lazy shit, I'll give him lazy shit, the cheeky-
I frowned as I read the time on my phone, 11.45am.
'Do you have to?:(' I scowled as I sent the message.
I tapped my finger impatiently as I waited for him to reply.
'Everything okay?' My mum smiled as she stood up.
'Yeah.. I think Coles coming round soon.' I sighed as I rubbed my the side of my head.

'Oooooo.' My mum winked.
'Mum, how many times have I got to tell you? It's just-'
'It's just a tutor session.' My mum mimicked my voice as she waved her hands around dramatically.
I scoffed as I rolled my eyes.
'Right, I'm going to pack, I'll stay upstairs until Cole leaves if you want.' My mum smiled a creepy smile.
'Mum.' I said bluntly.
She laughed loudly as she left the room.
My phone quickly vibrated. Finally.
'Ye I have to, I need to get higher grades in maths. Don't text unless you want me to crash the car, see you in 10, ly x'
My eyes widened slightly as I read the message 'ly', love you?! Am I missing something?!
He probably just means it as a mate Liv. Don't over think everything.
I quickly jumped up out of my seat and sprinted up the stairs into my bedroom.
What to wear, what to wear? I hummed to myself as I eyed all the clothes in my huge wardrobe.
Cool and casual or fancy?
I quickly pulled on a pair of blue joni jeans from top shop and a cropped black Chanel jumper, it'll do.
I gasped as I looked at the time, 11.55.
I quickly ran into my ensuite and washed my face before I brushed my hair and put on some mascara and powder.
The door bell suddenly rang loudly, I quickly took one last look in the mirror before I sprinted down the stairs and opened the front day.
'Olivia.' Cole said in a sophisticated voice nodding, as he pushed past me and into the front porch.
'Cole.' I replied as I raised an eyebrow.
'I'm surprised you're even dressed.' He said in a high pitch voice as he walked into the living room with his bag over his shoulder.
'I've been ready for ages actually.' I scoffed as I followed him closely behind.
'Sure.' Cole smiled sarcastically as he threw his bag onto the floor and jumped onto the sofa, before he rested his hands behind his head and closed his eyes.
'Make yourself at home, why don't you?' I scoffed as I grabbed Coles bag forcefully.
'So, how about we start with trigonometry,' I started as I unzipped Coles bag and pulled out a maths textbook, 'because you clearly don't know what you're doing when it comes to radians and-'

'How about we play a game?' Cole cut me off.
'You came here to learn maths, not play games.' I replied as I furrowed my eyebrows.
'Let's compromise then,' he smirked 'let's play truth or dare and then we can do some maths.'
'Cole, I didn't want you to come over in the first place,' I groaned, 'so, can we just get this maths out of the way?'
Cole rolled his eyes at me, 'Why can't you just have fun?'
'I know how to have fun, I'm a fun person actually. But not on Sundays at 12 in the morning!' I scoffed as I folded my arms.
'12 in the afternoon.' Cole corrected as he smiled smugly.
'Wait a sec.' I said as I walked into the kitchen go get my phone.
I frowned as I looked down at my phone to see an unread text message, I quickly clicked on it.
'He's not who you think he is.' From unknown.
I frowned, 'What the hell?' I whispered to myself.
I shook my head and laughed slightly as I realised who it could be.
'Fuck off Aaron.' I sent the message as I rolled my eyes.
'What's this?' Cole frowned as he held up his phone.
'What?' I asked as I walked over to him.
I frowned as I sat on Coles knee to see his phone. My eyes quickly scanned his phone screen to see a message from unknown saying 'She's not who you think she is.'
'Oh my god I had one too.' I laughed.
'Whys it funny?' Cole asked as he furrowed his eyebrows.
'Because it's obviously Aaron.' I scoffed.
'He wouldn't do something that stupid though, would he?' Cole shook his head, confused.
'Well, unless you have some crazy ex girlfriend.' I joked as I grinned.
Cole frowned as he looked at the floor.
'It was a joke.' I laughed as I jumped up off of his knee.
'I gotta go.' Cole said quietly as he jumped up and grabbed his bag.
'What? What do you mean?' I asked.
'I'll see you tomorrow.' Cole smiled slightly as he walked out of the room.
'Cole! You only just got here, don't go. Who's the text from?' I asked confused as I grabbed Coles arm.
'I don't know, could be anyone. I just gotta go, okay?' He said in a quiet voice that I could barely hear.
'Cole, please don't go.' I pleaded as I held onto his arm.
'I'll see you tomorrow.' He half smiled before he leaned in and pecked me on the lips.
'Cole?' I frowned as he walked out the house and down to his car.
'Ring me later or something!' I called as I watched him get into his car and drive away.
I quickly ran back into the living room and picked up my phone before I dialled Gee's number.
'What's up girly?' Gees sweet voice came through after two rings.
'I don't know what just happened, Cole came over for a tutor session and then we both got these weird texts and then Cole got all funny and now he's gone and I don't know where he's goi-'
'What? What did the texts say?!' Gee shouted.
'They didn't even make sense, just like she's not who you think she is and stuff like that, I don't know! I tried to get Cole to stay, he wasn't in a bad mood or anything he just seemed.. I don't know! I couldn't tell! And he kissed me again!! But that's not the point-'
'I'll be over in 5, is Jan home?' Gee asked.
'Yeah, mums home, I'm not gonna tell her about the texts though, it's nothing serious and she'll only get worried, she's leaving to go back to New York tomorrow. I don't even care about the texts, I just want to know if Coles alright.'
'We'll talk when I get there, see you in 5.' Gee said quickly before she hung up the phone.
I sighed as I shook my head. I just got to wait for Gee and then we can try and figure out what's going on.
But, what is going on?!
