Unfortunately inspired by true incidents. I never told my parents this and I can't believe I kept this as a secret for so many years, I still feel like such an idiot for not knowing any better but I escaped before he could drag me into a slide or whatever he wanted to do with me

You didn't know why you were getting nightmares all of a sudden, especially of a certain incident that you promised yourself that you'd never speak of and take it as a secret to your grave till the day you died. But your dreams turned to nightmares after a few days when you'd seen an advertisement for a waterpark that you went years ago when you were a kid. Since then you've been on edge because that was where a dreaded incident happened to you and you felt ashamed to speaking about it to someone since you felt like it was your fault. You never cried in your sleep but this time, your nightmares became more and more worse

It was a bright and sunny afternoon and your parents and you were at the waterpark that you've always been dying to go to. ''Mom, come on, we have to go on that slide over there! Come on! And tell dad to come along as well, he's wasting a perfectly good day by just sitting there reading his boring news on the phone'' you whined to your mother but she heaved a long breath and replied "Darling we're not as young as we used to be before. How about you go in that, we need to catch some rest, we are getting older and we feel tired. Don't let us stop you from having your fun though''. You felt a bit disappointed and she continued "We'll be sitting right across this giant bucket'' she said and pointed towards the large bucket that filled up with water and poured water on people every few minutes or so when they stood under it. Your mother went to join your father as you played on some of the water rides there and you were having a fun time

You then saw a man with mocha brown hair eyeing you from a distance and you felt a bit uncomfortable as to why he was staring at you like that. You tried to blend in with the crowd, hoping you'd lose the man but he startled you by suddenly appearing right next to you and he had a friendly smile on his face, like he was a trusting person and he spoke "I've seen you around before. I know your mother, we're good friends'' and you being the innocent and naive kid that you were before believed him but there was a part in your brain nagging you about this whole ordeal. If he was your mom's friend, how come she's never introduced him to you, she usually told you about all her friends and you've met most of them. You tried not to dwell on the topic too much as the man invited you to walk with him. You willingly agreed and went with him without suspecting anything since he seemed friendly to you as he led you away from the sight of your parents to the other side of the area

He asked you what grade you were in, what your hobbies were and you talked with him like you'd known him for years. You were just glad you'd made a new friend and someone to spend time with so you wouldn't be lonely and bored but however the man had other twisted and dark intentions with you. Just then someone bumped into you and they went rushing by and you were about to fall but the man caught hold of your arm and made sure you were okay. Then he started getting too friendly for your liking. His hands went to your shoulders and rubbed them in what seemed like a comforting manner but he was starting to freak you out a bit but you didn't want to say anything that might seem offensive so you kept quiet

Your glance then fell on one of the big red water slides there and you looked at longingly, wanting to go there. "You want to go there, is that it?'' the man chuckled slightly to himself and you nodded. "Don't worry, I'll take you'' he smiled but then he did something that made your blood freeze and turn ice cold. His hands wandered to the lower portion of your back and he touched you in a not so friendly place as your eyes widened with fear, confusion and panic. You glanced at him from the corner of your eye but he pretended it like this was normal. While you both were walking towards the giant waterslide there, he 'accidentally' touched you again but this time it was your chest. However you didn't think it was too much of an accident since he literally felt you up and groped at your chest much to your immense fear and you felt scared for the first time. All those years of your karate training went down the drain during a moment like this, you didn't know what to do during a situation like this

You then went to the slide and that's when your common sense finally kicked in, telling you the man was bad news and you had to get away from him immediately. You went down the slide first and the slide was a closed tube which you felt thankful for. You slid really fast and you even used your hands to slide down faster. You heart was thumping against your chest erratically as there was only one thought in your head: To get away from that man before something happened to you. You didn't dare to look back as you kept waiting for the end of the slide. You finally reached the end and you felt really thankful. You could sense that the man was coming behind you so you literally ran as fast as your legs could carry you and you hid behind a pillar a few meters away. You saw the man come out and it looked like he was searching for you but you successfully managed to evade him for a while

However when you finally decided to go back to your parents that's when someone grabbed you by your arm and pulled you into the tube of a slide that wasn't operating. You felt really scared and you felt like you were paralyzed with nothing but fear. You tried to yell for help but the man pressed his hand against your mouth and he leered at you and spoke "Don't you know it's rude to ignore your friends'' and no matter how much you tried to fight back and struggle his grip was too strong for you. You started crying at this point as the tears flowed from your eyes and you started hyperventilating. The man leaned closer to your ear and whispered "Oh how enticing you look when you cry like that, you look delicious. I could play with you all day long and never get tired of you'' and that was when your vision went black

"No.. please.... stop...get away from me... stop'' you muttered in your sleep as you tossed and turned around on the bed. You were still experiencing your nightmare so you didn't know Bill was right next to you and he stirred from his sleep to the sounds of you tossing and turning on the bed and your soft sobs. He was wide awake now and upon further inspection he noticed that you were crying. He felt alarmed but also felt bad and angry at whatever was making you cry like this. He wanted nothing but the best for you and He wished she could take on the nightmare instead of you so you could have a peaceful sleep. However his main aim now was to comfort you and make sure you were all right

He wrapped her arms around you but that was the wrong thing to do since you started screaming. "NO! PLEASE!!! LET ME GO! PLEASE STOP" "Y/N.. Y/N, can you hear me? Don't worry, I'm here, I'm here for you...'' and your eyes suddenly snapped wide open and you shot up from the bed like a torpedo and took long gasps like you'd been deprived of your right to breathe. You didn't realize you were sweating at this point and Bill handed you a glass of water and he made you drink it. "Y/N, is everything fine?" he asked and you sighed to yourself and rubbed your temples and replied "Kinda... I don't know anymore...'' "You don't have to tell me what you'd dreamt about but I want you to know I'm always here for you. I'll protect you from anything and everything that can ever harm you, nothing will happen to you'' and you leaned into his embrace for his comfort. It felt nice to be held and comforted like this by someone you trusted and felt safe with

You told him about your nightmare after a while and he was a mix of emotions ranging from sadness that you had to go through something like this when you were a kid, immense anger and fury since that pathetic excuse of a human DARED to touch what belonged to him and his feeling of protecting you just increased a hundred times more. He also felt guilty that he wasn't there for you at that time and you spoke "We didn't know each other at that time. Besides, he didn't drag me into the slide, I escaped him before but... I still feel ashamed of myself for letting something like that happen. I was such an idiot back then, believing what a random stranger said'' and you shook your head. Bill grabbed your hands and replied "You're not at fault here, this is not your fault. You have nothing to be ashamed for darling, no one will judge you for this and if they do, I'll see to them personally'' he said fiercely and continued "You are the most strongest person I know. I'm so glad you're safe and here with me right now'' and he kissed your hands

You both sat in the silence with each other for a few moments, basking in each other's presence and warmth till you whispered "I don't think I can go back to sleep, I'm scared Bill... I'm scared of seeing that monster's face again...'' and he kissed your head and spoke "I'm here with you now. That scumbag won't hurt you anymore, I promise'' as he told you some funny stories and then sang a little song for you to fall asleep to. For the first time in a really long time, you finally felt a peace and you fell asleep with a smile on your face as he caged his arms around you protectively making sure no one would ever harm you

Did you really think he was done with this whole incident? Oh, dear me no. He vowed to track and hunt down that pathetic excuse of a human and murder him in the most painful way imaginable known to mankind for what he's done to you. He's willing to do anything for you and go through any lengths to convince you that he loves you a lot. No one gets away with hurting the love of his life and she'll make sure of that
