"So you and Ajani ain't got shit going on?" Malik asked making K'saiah roll his eyes.
"Fuck you in my business fa' ? And It wouldn't matter if we did or didn't because I can tell you this now, she don't fucking want you." K'saiah harshly snapped taking a sip of his drink .
No doubt Malik took it to heart, but K'saiah did not give a single fuck.
Johan had convinced them to go out to a club , K'saiah felt as if it was lame though, he'd love to be at home.
The doors to the club opened and soon everyone's attention was turned towards who walked through.
But K'saiah eyes were fixed on one person and one person only, Ajani .
"She so fucking fine." He muttered to him self.
S'rene down below
Jasaria also down below
K'saiah eyes stayed glued to Ajani, his face went into a mug when a man approached her.
He didn't understand why he got upset but he wanted the man away from her.
"His fuck boy ass better gon somewhere, looking like who did it and why." He muttered watching the interaction.
She rejected him but he didn't back off.
"Mmcht c'mon, keep throwing that ass back." Ajani face turned into a frown , she could smell the alcohol in his breath and it was disgusting to her .
K'saiah got up once he grabbed her hips.
Before he could even get over there she smacked the fuck out of him.
"Nigga I wish you would fucking hit her." He shoved him away from her once he looked like he was going to hit her back.
"That bitch ugly any-"
"What you say? I know you ain't call her a bitch." K'saiah cut him off immediately getting defensive.
"I said that bi-" Before he could even finish his sentence K'saiah punched him , making a crack come from his nose. The dude fell on the floor but after a minute or two he slowly got back up , he was tempted to fight back but he knew who K'saiah was and what he was capable of and just by the look on K'saiah's face had him scared.

Instead of even insulting him he angrily walked away.
"You ain't have to do that , I-"
"He ain't finna sit here and disrespect you like he right, c'mon." He stated.
"You ain't gotta take up for me and don't cut me off , I can take care of myself ." She frowned trailing behind him.
"Yeah cause you definitely had it under control ." He said sarcastically.
"Exactly."
"Nadia you can handle the bitches but let me handle the niggas."
She rolled her eyes , he's always protective of the women in his life.
"Thank you, I appreciate you looking out for me." She smiled, she didn't want to come off as ungrateful but she really could take care of herself.
"It ain't shit lil mama."
"Why don't you smile a lot ?" He asked as he lit his blunt, he rarely saw her smile.
"I ain't got a reason to smile."
He nodded in response not knowing what to say.
They started kicking it last year as friends , they met at Pooters house and he noticed that she looked sad as hell, he offered to smoke with her and they've been smoking buddies ever since.
He also liked that she had her shit together and wasn't one of those women that depended on other people for everything, she stayed to herself and she has her own shit. Shes a nurse and she does tattoos on the side.
K'saiah is a hood nigga at heart but he doesn't gang bang— at least not anymore. He actually went to college and now he owns a barber shop and sometimes he hangs out with the men he cleans up. A lot of people fuck with him and respect him because of how he holds himself down and the people that he cares about and Ajani is slowly but surely becoming one of those peoples.

"You look good , KB."
"Shiddd , look at yo lil pretty ass. You got your hair done and everything." He said making her blush.
"Mann, look at you blushing and shit. You so fucking cute." He chuckled making her laugh, she found it funny because he was very high.
"You're just high."
"You still pretty as fuck." He shrugged taking another pull from the blunt.
"Boy stop playing." She playfully waved him off .
"Mmcht , ain't nobody playing that's all you."
"What, I don't ever play." She giggled showing off her dimple.
"You playing right na' ."
"Look at them flirting and shit, they swear they ain't together." S'rene laughed walking in between KJ legs.
"They might as well fuck right there, they stay entertaining each other when they high." He chuckled rubbing her ass.
Meanwhile Pooter pulled Jasaria on his lap making her roll her eyes.
"Mmcht , don't start being mean to me." Pooter frowned, he was such a softie for her.
"I'm not baby." She smiled kissing his cheek.
"Wanna dip?" He asked rubbing her thighs.
"Yeah, let me make sure Ajani and S'rene have a ride. I can't leave them drunk or high with no ride." She said getting up.
Her and her friends always did the buddy system when it came to clubbing.
They never left each other unless they knew they were with someone they could trust.
After she made sure every one had a ride she left with pooter.
"K'saiah?" Ajani called but he was staring into space.
"C'mon, they finna start shooting." He grabbed her arm and went to the others but by then the shots were already fired.
His main priority right now was to get Ajani out safely, he knew his boys would make sure their women got out safely.
"Where is my brother!?" Ajani asked , she was about to run back inside but K'saiah caught her arm.
"Don't be a dumbass , you know he can handle himself. and you can't run up in there because then I'm gon have to kill niggas for fucking with you."
He wouldn't hesitate to kill someone for fucking with her and he let that be known.
"KB I'm not fucking playing, what if something happened to them—"
"Look, there they go right now." He let out a sigh of relief while pointing towards them who were laughing while running.
"Bro, getting shot at is fun when you don't die." KJ said out of breath.
"I'm saying." Johan held onto his knees for balance.
Ajani and K'saiah looked at each other and then at their friends and back at each other.
They both sighed and got in the car while everyone else busted out laughing again.
"They dead ass slow." K'saiah chuckled making Ajani laugh.
"On god." She agreed as he pulled off.
"Where we going?" She asked popping her fingers.
"My house. I don't feel like driving you all the way to your house."
"But you be being moody like youn' wanna be round' me. " she frowned.
"No I don't."
"Ight but don't be having a attitude when you wake up and hear me in your kitchen." She shrugged.
"Girl go to sleep." He chuckled.

Petrichor: Act One
Cody is adrift. Emily is alone. Sara is spiraling into darkness. Andrew is out of control. Chris is losing his mind. Grace makes the mistake of being friends with all of them. The friendship these six share will forever shape who they are. In the town of Darkwood, Washington they are forced into the harsh reality of the world catching up to them. When their involvement in their friend's suicide catches up to them, how will they juggle their guilt, issues, and crumbling friendships that fall before them? This is a redux of Petrichor. I was unsatisfied with how the story went. I rushed things and left things to happen off-screen a lot. So I'm rewriting it, this time dividing the acts into their separate books to allow the characters to properly develop. The story will mostly stay the same but I'll fix all the plot holes I found and change some character motivations here or there.
