《Harry Potter imagines》Young Remus Lupin - Full Moon

Next to the boys I sneaked out. It was a full moons night and we were about to stay with Remus. We couldn't let him go alone. It was painful for him and it was easier if we were around. Going with him, protecting him. We had become Animagi to be with him at that time of the month. I had become a mountain lion. Normally I could stop Remus from doing dumb things but tonight was different. When we all just had changed we were running through the forest when voices were heard. Remus lifted his head and sniffed into the air. Then started to run. Without even waiting for the other ones I followed him. Just in time I catch up with him. There were two small boys wandering close to the forest. Remus was about to jump when I pulled him to the ground. He started to growl and we started to fight. At least the kids noticed and ran away.
This time Remus really hurt me bad. He never did before but when Sirius and James arrived I was heavily bleeding. Peter was sitting behind a tree looking terrified from what Remus was able to do. He usually never hurt us. But tonight was different. James and Sirius haunted him back into the woods so Peter could change into a human again and bring me back into the castle. "Please don't tell Remus.", were the last words before I fell asleep.
The next morning I felt horrible. But I tied myself up the best I could. When I walked down to the common room I saw Remus laying on the couch looking pale, James and Sirius sitting next to him. I went towards them looking at each of their faces. It had been a horrible night. "What's wrong?", I asked. Remus looked at me, his eyes nearly closing again "I don't know. It had been worse.", he gasped. Softly I touched his forehead. "You are hot! James please get me some water and a facecloth and Sirius get us some ice. We need to cool him down.", both of the boys hopped up and searched for the things I needed. I softly started to stroke Remus hair. "Where have you been? You weren't there when I went back to my own self.", he muttered. "I... I felt sick. Peter got me back here.", I lied to not make him feel worse. "Are you better now?" "That doesn't matter. You are sick right now." "Tell me.", he bagged and I nodded "I feel better.".

The boys came back with the stuff but went off to bed then. They needed sleep. So it was my duty to take care of Remus. I washed his face with the cold water until he fell asleep. My own wounds were burning like hell but I was sitting next to the couch waiting for Remus to wake up again. I already ordered Peter to get us some food up here so Remus could eat. He was already weak enough to not eat today. Softly I was stroking his forehead when he woke up again.
"You weren't sick.", he gasped "What?", I looked at him confused "I remember.", he said pulling me closer, lifting up my shirt a bit. He looked at all the patches "Was that me?", I wasn't able to answer so just pushed down my shirt again. "Was that me?", he asked again, tears coming up in his eyes. "I am fine Rems. Those are just bruises and scratches. I am fine." "I never wanted to hurt you! You can't come out with me again!" "I will always come out with you. You are my friend." "No! Not if there is a chance that I could hurt you again." "You won't Rems." "But I did last night who says I won't do this again?" "I do. Rems..." "No! You are too important to me. What if I bite you?" "We are not alone out there. Rems just come down. I am fine.", I took his head into my hands and looked into his eyes. "I am fine. Those are just scratches and bruises. They will heal." "Y/N I can't hurt you again." "You won't!" "Why do you say that? You know what I am!" "The kindest and most caring person I know. You are my best friend and the boy I love since I met him.".

Now it was me looking shocked. I never insisted to say this words but now they were out and he heard them. But he just sadly smiled "How could someone as beautiful as you love someone as horrible as me?", I started to smile while still holding his head "Because you are perfect to me.", I slowly lowered my lips to his and kissed him.

Volume 1 of Fates Parallel is on Amazon's Kindle Unlimited! Check it out here! Also available on Audible! Volume 2 of Fates Parallel is on Amazon's Kindle Unlimited! Check it out here! Also available on Audible! After centuries of endless wars, the three greatest nations of the continent have come together in peace. As a symbol of their cooperation, they have worked together to establish the Grand Academy of Spiritual, Martial, and Arcane Arts, a place where the best and brightest of each nation can gather on neutral ground and share knowledge, techniques, and cultures. Can the peace truly last, or is the academy just another proxy for the constant conflicts the three nations face? None of that matters to Lee Jia, a homeless young girl who's biggest concern is surviving the winter. But when she accidentally stumbles into the academy in search of a new place to stay, her destiny is changed forever. Determined to carve out a new place for herself and make the most of her good fortune, Lee Jia dives head first into the world of magic and martial arts. Fates Parallel is my first serious attempt at writing a story, and a personal love letter to Eastern fantasy and xianxia stories. It's heavily inspired by East Asian culture, folklore, and mythology, with what is likely going to be a decidedly Western artistic license. I try to write every day, with a goal of about 45,000 words per month (~1500 per day). Chapter lengths are around 3000 words on average, releasing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Ebony Chitin - Adventures of The Hive
Ebony Chitin - Adventures of The Hive is a story centered around a Hive mind bug elf, and her favorite human-dwarf mutt Richard. The story will shift perspectives between the two, as well as other members of the Hive. Follow along on their adventures for; the friends they make, the enemies they slay, and the questions they seek to answer. Thank you for reading, as always. ^.^ Afterword: Hello there everyone, and welcome back those that have already read the first story. If you are new, don't worry too much about the first step of the series. Truly, this second part aims to cover most of what was done there. Those that have read it will know a few secrets and plot points before we see them. Though it shouldn't detract from your reading of this one. Honestly, the first one was a bit rough, but do as you will. I will warn that this will tackle some serious topics and might end up getting rather explicit in terms of what is done or seen by the characters. There is a bit to cover, so I'll explain what I can between chapters without overloading anyone, hopefully. -Cover Art drawn by Cozie [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Into the Feywild
I've never considered myself to be much of a fighter. In fact, I had no notion what it was all about. I couldn't envision a war amongst people, especially my own. In this odd realm, a timid half-elf has little chance of success. Especially with minimal experience. I've only fought as a means of survival, self-defense, if you will. I had known only humans, so the concept of elven culture and family was foreign to me. And yet, here I am, in the midst of a tremendous battle between two Feys and a God. I never planned for things to turn out this way, or for me to get caught in the great shambles of war—a conflict between good and evil. My two companions are practically strangers to me, knowing nothing but my name. This journey was not something I had planned or wished for, but it was what the Gods gave me.◈ ◈ ◈Meli, a young half-elf traveling the Material Plane, is unexpectedly captured while on her travels, only to become a member of an odd group of individuals. Crane, an older wizard castaway from his college for practicing unnatural magic, and Kurky, a youthful and lively gnome who is as fascinating as they come. Meli's curiosity gets the better of her as she chooses to accompany them on their not so concrete journey into the Feywild. Little did they know of the constant war raging within this woodsy plane. Maybe Meli will discover everything she's been looking for, embracing love and pleasure along the way. Or perhaps she'll become a part of something bigger. © Copyright to EmmeMeadows 2021
