《Harry Potter imagines》Draco Malfoy - Panic Attack
Advertisement
Warnings: panic attacks, anxiety.
You weren't sure how it happened, maybe it was due to the stress you had put on yourself, maybe it was from the upcoming exams or maybe it was because you bottled every bad thought and feeling inside until you burst; which the day had finally arrived.
-Flashback a week earlier-
It had been the third night you overstayed your stay in the library, you had begged the librarian to let you stay so you can study for a bit longer. A 'bit longer' turned into hours and finally you were forced to leave.
You knew this wasn't a good habit to form, but you also knew exams were coming up and you had to do well in your classes; and at first you were but on the third day things shifted.
The thought of failure was looming over you, causing you to push everything aside for your studies. Your friends had started to notice things weren't okay just by looking at the dark circles under your eyes, the messy hair and wrinkled uniforms but you would just inform them that you were okay.
"Y/N, there you are! Where have you been hiding?" You could hear the slight worry in your boyfriend's voice. "I've just been busy, that's all." You replied, turning your focus on the textbook in front of you. "How long have you been here?" Draco asked, already knowing the answer.
"I think you need a break, love." He said quietly as he watched you pull out more books for this one class. "I'm fine, Draco." Your voice was harsh and you saw him flinch slightly. "I don't-"
"I SAID I'M FINE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" You shrieked, bringing attention to you. "Y/N, are you sure?" You didn't know why that question upset you but it was that question that pushed you over the edge, and the next thing you knew the tears and loud sobs escaped your body and flooded the library as fellow students and professors watched in horror as you fell apart.

"Miss Y/L/N!" You opened your eyes to meet the worried eyes of Poppy Pomfrey. "You were screaming dear, are you alright?" She asked, pressing a cold hand against your sweaty forehead. You only nodded as you felt the tears come to surface.
"How long have I been here?" You asked suddenly, looking around the room, taking in the hospital wing. "About a week dear, you had..an episode." Poppy Pomfrey said carefully and you just looked at the ceiling. You covered your face with your hands as you felt another wave of panic wash over you. You didn't want to remember that day in the library but it was creeping upon you.
"Y/N, calm down! Please." Draco tried to calm you but your loud wailing blocked everything out. "Put me down!" You screamed as you felt yourself get picked up and carried out of the room. Draco finally put you down when he felt like it was okay.
"Love, talk to me" He said gently, panic in his own voice as he watched the girl in front of him crumble. He watched your red, puffy face as you tried to explain what was wrong but no actual words left your lips; only nonsense and more tears. "Please try to-" Draco stopped speaking when he saw you grip your hair and started to pull at it.
"I-I ca-can't do this any-anymore" You cried out, gripping your hair even tighter that you felt your hands go numb. "Let's go, love. I'm taking you to the hospital wing." Was all that Draco had said, wrapping an arm around you and pulling you along.
"You have a visitor." Your thoughts were interrupted again and you only nodded as you turned to your side, curling yourself into a ball. "Feeling any better?" You ignored the question as tears ran down your face. "Y/N, please talk to me." The boy in front of you begged.

You just looked at him, a part of you wanted to be mad at him for bringing you to here yet you couldn't. You knew he was only trying to help. "I'm scared." You said, barely above a whisper.
"It's okay, I'm here now." Draco said, sitting on the edge of the bed. "I missed the exams, didn't I?" You couldn't help but ask as you felt failure covering you like a heavy blanket.
"I believe they're gonna excuse you from them" He said quietly as he looked over you. "Will you stay with me?" You asked, slowly sitting up. Draco opened his mouth but you stopped him. "I mean..date me still?" You felt your face heating up as you watched Draco.
"Of course I would, this doesn't change anything." He said, a small smile appearing on his face. "Hold me?" You asked meekly, you wanted nothing but Draco to stay with you and assure you that you weren't going crazy.
"Move over." He said, getting up and readjusting himself so he was laying on the bed, wrapping his arms tightly around you. "I was so worried about you, Y/N." Draco said carefully, afraid he would say something that would upset you.
You only tightened your grip on his shoulder, hiding your face as you listened to him breathe. "I'm sorry..I don't know what happened." You whispered the small lie. You knew that Draco knew you were lying. "Will you promise me something?" He asked, you looked up to see him looking at you.
You only nodded, staring at his grey blue eyes that you could have swore you got lost in. "Don't overdo yourself again, love. I've never seen you in so much pain." You ran your thumb across his cheek; catching a single tear that managed to fall.
"I won't, I love you Malfoy." You felt yourself smiling as the words left your tongue and you couldn't help but laugh as you saw his face turn pink. "And, I love you Y/L/N." He laughed as he pressed his lips to your forehead.

Journey of my Core
I have a hard time referring anything that I write to as 'Original'. The longer we as a species exist the harder it is to be truly original, I am certainly influenced by all that I read and watch Including but not limited to J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, and all of the stories here on Royal Road. From the start the MC is only able to comprehend the most basic of what is impacting it with very little to no understanding of the MC's surroundings. There may be updates in the future, but I am in no way a consistant writer. I will never claim to be the best artist, but I drew a representation for my story. Procrastination... Procrastination... Procrastination... Procrastination... Procrastination...

Captain Critiques: A Grumpy Pirate Review Book
(CURRENTLY OPEN)When it comes to reviews, I'm probably as harsh as the hellhole most story ideas crawl out of. I'm blunt, sarcasic, to the point and I know what I like in a story. As you can probably guess, you don't wanna take my advice if your like an overprotective mother about your story. Who am I kidding, EVERYONE is like that about their stories. But, if you could find the courage to pry the story out of your cold, crabby hands so I can give my brutally honest opinion then be my guest. Just don't try and start a fight once I provide it. You DON'T wanna fight a pirate. .................................. I reserve the right to decline stories as this will be taking up quite a bit of my time and if I say no, I mean NO. If your blurb is unreadable I will decline it. If it includes the genres mentioned in my 'Hell No' section then I will send it back where it came from.Do NOT critique the Captain.
