"Y/N! There you are! I've been looking all over for you!" Ginny ran your way.

Your heard skipped a beat when the girl yelled your name.

"H-hi Ginny" you said.

"Y/N I was wondering if you would like to partner up with me?"

You stared at her, partner up with Ginny? Did she just ask you out? You were getting nervous and anxious, did she know you had a crush on her? All of the things had gone through your head.

"P-partner?" Was the only thing you could say. And you mentally face palmed.

Ginny looked at you questionably.

"Yes silly, my partner for the positions assignment, you know we have to pick a partner to work with and since we're in the same class I thought we could partner up"

You mentally slapped yourself.

"Yes of course I forgot about that, but yeah of course I want to be your partner"

Ginny smiled "great, shall we work on it tonight?" You nodded "yeah sure, let's meet up in the library after dinner"

Ginny smiled again "great! See you, bye!" And she walked away.

"Well well well, if this isn't going to lead to a proper date and kiss than I don't know what will" you heard Dean say.

"Ohh shut it dean, we are just going to work on an assignment that's all"

"Yeah sure" he laughed and walked off.

It was obvious you liked Ginny a lot, you just weren't sure if the feelings were mutual.

After dinner you made your way towards the library, you sat down at one of the tables and watched the other students work on their assignments as well. After ten minutes of staring at other students Ginny came.

She waved at you and walked your way.

Your heart skipped a beat. "Hey Y/N, how was dinner?"

"Hey Ginny, dinner was okay, how about your dinner did you get something tasty?" And you mentally slapped yourself again. Maybe you would not get a good grade in Potions class but you certainly would get the highest grade in being awkward.

She smiled and noticed how nervous you were.

"Yeah I did get something tasty" she winked at you while she said that. You blushed a little bit.

Ginny giggled "awwww are you blushing?"

Great, you thought, thanks a lot Ginny now my head looks like a giant tomato.

Ginny stood up and walked over to your side of the table.

She stood next to you, hovering over you a bit.

"G-g-Ginny what are you doing?" You mumbled.

"Nothing much, just flirting with you that's all"

She smiled, oh that damned smile.

"W-w-what? Flirting? With m-me?"

"Yes silly, have been for the last two years, thanks for noticing"

"Really?" You were quite surprised, pleasantly surprised.

Ginny giggled "yes!"

You smiled at her "would you like to go out with me then?"

Ginny giggled once again "yes! I would love to go out with you!"

You smiled at her again, a smile that is going to be plastered on your face for a long time.
