You were walking towards the dining hall when you saw them. Pansy flirting with Draco, ugh you hated her. Draco was kind of flirting back this time, he probably just enjoyed the attention but it made you mad anyway. You and Draco weren't together but you wanted to be, you had liked him for over a year now but he didn't seem to feel the same way. You were sick of pansy, she always flirted with Draco just to rub it in your face in the girls room later, she always did this and it made you even sicker when Draco started to flirt back. You walked past them without looking up, just pretend you don't see them and they will do the same, that's what you thought but oh you were wrong.

Draco looked up and called your name "Y/N! Hey wait up" you sighed but waited anyways.

"What do you want Draco?" You asked, not very nicely but hey in your defense you were pretty mad at them.

"Wow Y/N didn't know you would be mad" Draco said, looking at you with questioning eyes.

"Yeah we didn't know you would be mad, let's go Draco we don't need her" pansy said, feeling very good about herself. Draco didn't have the chance to react because pansy already pulled him with her. You sighed and walked to the dining hall, you had to eat. You sat down, but not at your usual spot beside Draco. You sat down on the other half of the table, so you couldn't see Draco or pansy. After about fifteen minutes you were done, that was pretty fast but hey you didn't have to talk to anyone this time. You started to walk towards the common room, when you were halfway there someone tapped your shoulder. You turned around to see Draco standing there, awkwardly smiling. "What is it Draco? And where is your little girlfriend?" You asked, obviously annoyed. "Well I should probably ask you what it is because you have been acting very strange and not only today so tell me what's up"

"Look Draco I appreciate you trying to talk but I don't feel like talking, so go find your girl and go away"

Draco looked a bit hurt at first, but then it looked like he finally realized something.

"Wait Y/N, is that what this is about? About pansy?" Draco looked surprised. You turned a deep shade of red "w-what n-n-noooo of course n-not" you mumbled.

Draco smirked "it is about pansy, you're jealous! But why? Pansy and I are just friends" you scoffed "just friends? Really, the two of you have been flirting for over a month! You do not flirt with a friend, you have never flirted with me!" You blushed even more knowing you shouldn't have said the last thing.

"Oh god, you are jealous! Seriously Y/N I don't understand how you can be jealous of pansy when I'm obviously in love with you"

You looked up at him in shock, did you hear that correctly? Did Draco Malfoy just tell you he is in love with you?

"Wait what? You are in love with me? Not pansy?"

Draco smiled and chuckled a bit "yes that is correct, and I'm really hoping you feel the same otherwise I'll feel like a total idiot"

You smiled at him "yes Draco, I do feel the same. I just don't understand why you were flirting with pansy all the time"

Draco's eyes sparkled when you said you felt the same, he smiled awkwardly when you asked him why he was flirting with pansy. "To be honest Y/N, I flirted with her to see if you would get jealous and I'm glad it worked"

You furrowed your eyebrows "you could also just have asked me"

Draco smiled again whilst slowly leaning in "but is that really the important thing right now?" He grabbed your chin with one hand and with the other he grabbed your waist and pulled you closer, you didn't know what to do so you started to lean in as well, within seconds your lips touched and you felt butterflies.

After the first kiss you and Draco went to the common room, where lots and lots of kisses followed and even when pansy tried to pull you and Draco apart in a rage of jealousy Draco still kissed you. Of course after telling pansy to go away and to leave him alone.
