"Y/N come on! Let's go!" You rushed yourself in a pair of shoes and walked downstairs. "Alright Alright I'm here" your mom smiled at you. "I'm so happy you are finally going to meet my boss!" You smiled at her. Your mom was a writer at the quibler and all of the editors and writers were meeting for a party. You walked downstairs, looking at yourself in the mirror. "You look good honey! Now let's go" your mom smiled and motioned for you to hurry up.

The two of you got on your broom and flew away.

When you arrived at the party you were greeted by several people. Your mother was shining, talking to everyone and telling them how you were a Gryffindor. You smiled at her and told her you were going to get something to drink.

You noticed girl standing at the bar. You were amazed by her beauty, she caught you staring and waved. You awkwardly waved back. She walked over and introduced herself "hi I'm Luna" you smiled at her "I'm Y/N Y/L/N"

"Nice to meet you!" "It is" then you started talking. The more she talked the more interesting she got. After what felt like a couple of minutes but were in fact hours, your mom tapped your shoulder. She stood there smiling pointing at a man that stood beside her. "Y/N I want to introduce you to my boss Xenophilius Lovegood." He shook your hand and then looked at luna. "Nice to meet you Y/N, I see you already got to know my daughter" Luna smiled at the man who apparently was her father. "Yes sir, you have a lovely daughter" Luna giggled and smiled at you.

The party was coming to an end, unfortunately. You and Luna had talked the whole evening and it was wonderful, refreshing and eye opening. You could feel yourself falling for her, you highly doubted she felt the same way until she was about to leave and she lent in for a kiss. It was a small peck on the lips but it was still enough to send shivers down your spine.

The two of you stayed very close when you were back at Hogwarts. And eventually you started to date with small pecks on the lips on a daily base.
