"Mioneeee could you please help me with this potion?" You asked, she sighed. "Sure, what do you need?" Coming closer and looking at the potion. "I just want to know if I did it right?" She looked, smelled and tested it. "I'm quite impressed Y/N, it's practically perfect". You smiled proudly, Hermione had been tutoring you in potions, you had finally gotten the hang of it. Snape walked by and you called him over "professor! Professor! Sir!" "Yes Y/L/N" Snape said annoyed. "Look at my potion! Is it good? Did I do good?" You said excitedly. Hermione watched from a distant, she loved your bubbly and happy personality. "It is good, very well Y/L/N, you have proven yourself. 10 points to Gryffindor!". You jumped up "YES score!" You said as Seamus and Dean gave you a high five. You looked back at Hermione, she was smiling at you. You mouthed "thank you."

After class ended you wanted to do something for her, since she had helped you. "Hermione! Wait up!" She stopped walking and turned around. "Y/N! Hey" "hi, I was wondering if you would let me buy you a Butter beer this Saturday! To thank you for your help". She smiled "you really don't have to, I did it with pleasure." "Hermione please, I insist." She then nodded "alright fine, I will meet you here Saturday." "At noon?" She nodded, turning around and walking away "see you Saturday Y/N". You were quite happy she said yes.

Saturday arrived, Hermione was already there when you arrived "ready Mione?" She nodded, smiling at her nickname. Walking there the two of you talked and talked. "Y/N may I ask you something?" "Yeah sure go ahead". She looked at the ground "would you consider this a date?" You looked at her, a blush spreading over her cheeks. "It could be if you want it to be, why do you ask?" "Harry and Ron were telling me it's a date but I didn't believe them and well I was right." "Now wait a second Hermione, I never said that it wasn't, I said it is a date if you want it to be a date". She looked up at you "but why wasn't it in the first place?" "I did not want to make you uncomfortable, and force anything on you, I just want to be around you and see what happens". She smiled, "so you would also like this to be a date?". You chuckled "Yes Hermione, I would love that". Without hesitating you wrapped your arm around her shoulder. She smiled and as the two of you kept walking you could hear a faint scream in the distant "WOOHOO, I told you". The two of you laughed, and turned around. Harry and Ron were standing there giving you thumps up. "Ron! Harry! Go away! You're ruining my date!". They laughed and walked away.

You looked at Hermione, she looked adorable, you softly grabbed her cheeks and brought your lips together. It was a small and soft kiss, but the both of you couldn't stop smiling.
