"It was the heeeeaaaattt of the moment! Telling you what my heart meant-"
"Shut up, it's not even Tuesday."
"But it's a good song!"
"Just get your wings over here and help me."
Gabriel sways over to Sam, humming 'Heat of the Moment' as he does so.
"So we figured that this guy who's sending us notes is from the future and wants us to save someone he loves. The catch is, the one he loves is saved, someone else important dies. But we need to figure out what role the weeping angels have to play in this," Sam says. "Why is there one transporting notes to us, and everyone other one trying to kidnap or kill us? If we can figure that out, it might give us another clue to who this guy is," the moose adds.
"I suggest you get researching, and I get searching," Gabriel claps Sam's shoulder. "Oh no. You are not going out and leaving me to do the hard work. If I research, you research. If I go out, you go out," Sam bosses. "Do you really think I'd do that? C'mon Samderella, I'm not Dean," Gabriel gives his best puppy look. "Well it's what Dean does, and I'm not taking any chances," Sam says. "But I'm not Dean. I'm helpful ol' me," the Trickster playfully punches Sam's arm. Sam bitch-faces him. "Okay, fine. I'll flip through books, you scale the internet. But we are going to have to find a library," Gabriel agrees.
------
"I have been through five aisles, and have not found a single book on stone angels or weeping angels," Gabriel announces as he plonks down next to Sam. "And I have cast my memory all the way back to the good old days in Heaven to see if Dad ever said anything," the Archangel adds. "Well I've found nothing new, I'm just re-reading what I already know," Sam slumps back and stretches his arms and torso. He stands up and takes a few steps away from the Trickster. "Come on, we've got some books to find," he announces, Gabriel stands up and follows the hunter further into the library.
"You take aisles 1-5, I'll go for 6-10, right? Pick up anything to do with angels or moving statues, or pretty much anything that could possibly be related to this," Sam instructs. "You're such a turn-on when you're bossy," Gabriel teases. Sam bitch-faces him for the second time that day. "Can't take a joke? Fine. But don't make that face, it'll freeze that way," Gabriel smirks and walks down to aisle one. Sam sighs and walks down to aisle six and begins reading the spines.
"How to build a cabinet... How to build a home... How to build... Okay, these aren't helping," Sam gives a heavy sigh and looks down, and there's a blue leather book with what can only be assumed as Enochian symbols. But there's something odd about it too, other symbols that can't be identified. He picks it up to inspect, and finds that there's a lock on it.
"Why is there a lock on this book? It should be free for public use-"
"Houston we have a problem."
Sam looks up to see Gabriel panting lightly.
"What's happened?"
"Weeping angels is what's happened, and ah, no so strong reception, remember?" The Trickster twiddles his fingers, "so let's go," he urges. Sam tucks the book in his jacket and hurriedly follows Gabriel out of the library.

They turn a corner and a weeping angel blocks their path, they back the Hell up and walk down the street. They turn to go down another street, but another weeping angel blocks their road. "Other side, other side!" Gabriel pushes Sam on to the road, they hurry along with ease due to there being no cars on the road and very few people out.
There's about five weeping angels tailing them now, so they break into a sprint. Sam grabs Gabriel's collar and shoves him behind a dumpster. By the sheer force and Gabriel being unaware, they topple over and land one on top of the other.
"S-Sam, I'm an Archangel/Trickster, as you know, but... But without my powers fully intact right now, you're kinda crushing me..."
"Oh, sorry, just- hang on," Sam pushes himself off Gabriel, but making sure he's still concealed.
Sam gently tugs on Gabriel's sleeve after they've settled, "what?" Sam points a police public call box. "I think we should hide in there," Sam whispers. The two slowly climb out from behind the dumpster and make their way over to the police box. Before they open the door, they quickly check for stone angels, there's none insight so they go inside.
"I don't think this is a police box."
"Ya think?"
"Oh hello! Who are you and how did you get in? I locked the door because of the weeping angel sightings, but how'd you get in. Oh of course! She let you in, nice one Sexy..."
Gabriel and Sam stare at the crazed man in he bow tie and floppy hair.
"Who are you?" Sam inquires, "I asked you first," the man responds. "Sam, this is Gabriel," the moose introduces. "The Doctor," the floppy haired man says. "Nice to meet you Doctor, now, could you explain to us what this-"
"You mentioned weeping angels," Gabriel interjects. "What do you know?"
"What do you know?"
"I asked you first," Gabriel smirks.
"They're an alien race that feeds on the lost years of humans. They send people back in time and feasts on their lost time."
"What about ones that give you little notes? And one wants you to save some people?"
"They'd never do that."
"Sammy, show him the notes."
Sam fiddles around in his pockets, pulling out each scrunched up note, letting the Doctor see. "We got all these from a weeping angels," Gabriel mentions. "But- but they don't help humans, they destroy them," the Doctor says. "Well we hunk that someone is using the stone angel to deliver the notes. But the rest are trying to kill us," Sam adds. "We were just running from some outside-"
"There's weeping angels outside my TARDIS?"
"Yeah... Yeah, I think," Sam replies.
The Doctor's eyes grow wide and he quickly runs over to the console. "Grab on to something! This is going to get bumpy," he quickly announces. Sam and Gabriel move closer to the railing and hold on, the TARDIS makes this weird screeching sound.
All appears to be going well until it tilts left and the lights flicker, and every time the lights flicker, it rocks left to right.
"Is it meant to do that Doc?" Gabriel inquires, "the screeching, yes. It's my favourite part-"
Left.
"-But not the rocking bit."
Right.
"You can fix it?" Sam asks.
Left.
"Unless she wants to, or can go, we won't be going anywhere," the Doctor replies.
Right.

"Well screw this, I'm gonna go fight those bastards," Gabriel lets go and slowly walks to the door.
Left.
Gabriel stumbles a little, but steadies himself, always keeping an hand on the railing.
"Are you crazy? If it's weeping angels then they'll get you! You can hardly tap into your powers, and who knows how many there are," Sam scolds.
Right.
"It's not like we can do this forever!"
Left.
"Your friend... Sam, I think! is right. You can't go running off to fight them. How can you even fight them?"
Right.
Gabriel gets a hand on the door knob, he pulls out his angel blade.
"With this."
Left.
The TARDIS door opens and closes and continues rocking, Gabriel's outside and the Doctor is terrified. "But your friend Gabriel is also right. You don't want to know what'll happen if the angels have the TARDIS," the Doctor adds.
Right.
Sam hurriedly gets to the door, and opens it, he turns over his shoulder. "Well I'm not going to let that idiot die alone," he says. He quickly leaves and the Doctor sighs. "Morons."
Left.
The Doctor sighs and steadies himself all the way to the door. The gaps between shifts are increasing.
He gets outside and he sees shattered stone every where, with a worried looking Sam in the centre of it.
"They took him again! That idiot is going to get himself killed! If he'd just be more careful and not face these things alone, then I could have had his back..."
"Get in the TARDIS, we'll find him. But you have to tell me everything about your weeping angel encounters."
Sam nods and the two enter the TARDIS, "long story... But here goes..." Sam says as he sits on the floor. "It all started a few weeks ago, at least I think it was a few weeks ago. Anyway," he continues his story, explaining everything, but having to add in odd details so the story actually makes sense. He finishes his explanation eventually.
"Right... Good thinking on who the note sender is, but weeping angels don't help people."
"I've gathered that, but why this one?"
"Did you even think that maybe this one could be an actual angel?"
"Wait what?"
"The weeping angel that's helping you. It could be one of your angel friends in the future, and he's trying to get your help. All the other weeping angels -the ones that attack you- they're normal weeping angels. Perhaps that they're also actual angels, but have something against you," the Doctor offers.
"That would actually explain a lot..." Sam ponders. "But who do I know that's an angel in my time that's want help?"
"Well your little friend dies in the future, right? So what if...?"
"Oh come on! Future Gabriel is a weeping angel? Seriously?"
"It seems likely doesn't it?"
"No!... Maybe... I dunno..."
The Doctor looks at some screen on the console, "she thinks she found him. Shall we go?" He pulls a few leavers, twists some knobs, and presses some buttons, the TARDIS begins screeching again.
"Well just think on it. Oh look, we're here," the Doctor swiftly walks past Sam, who quickly follows.
They examine their new surroundings, to the Doctor it's no place he's seen before, but to Sam, it seems vaguely familiar.
"So that's where we are," Sam whispers after reading a signs that says 'Elysian Fields Hotel'. "We should find him, now," Sam stresses. "Okay, okay, just keep looking," the Doctor responds.
"Shit- ah, Doctor, how are we meant to get him out of that?" Sam quizzes, the two look into a dining room filled with weeping angels, and a blind folded Gabriel in the centre. Sam can see the handy work of the weeping angels already. He quickly pulls out his angel blade and the Doctor looks at him confused.
"You can't take on all of them at once."
"I can always try."
Sam moves forwards, drawing a deep breath, he stabs a weeping angel, then another and another. He keeps up his pattern, constantly checking his back. The Doctor watches, he should be saving lives, not destroying them. The weeping angels scream and shatter, falling in heaps to the ground.
Sam's made a dint in the amount of angels, but they're surrounding him now. He can't keep eyes on all of them, not at once at least. He manages to make a path way and backs up into Gabriel's chair, Sam spins around and cuts the bindings, Gabriel can deal with his own blind fold.
"You should stop getting yourself kidnapped."
"You should protect me better."
The two stand back to back, angel blades ready. The Doctor doesn't intervene. He doesn't know what he can and should do, so he watches.
Sam and Gabriel kill any weeping angel that gets too close, but it feels like the room is filling up again.
"Shit, Gabriel, what do we do."
"I suggest you get out of this room right now."
"What, why?"
"Because if you don't get out, you'll die too."
"What? No, I'm not leaving you. You're already a giant idiot."
"Trust me on this. I'm an Archangel, I've got this."
"But you can't use your powers properly, how can you-"
"Just shut up and go, Sam!"
Sam nods, he picks a path headed for the door and kills any weeping angel in his way. He gets through without too much trouble and stands next to the Doctor.
"I can't even see him in there," Sam says.
"If you're still in this room, shut you eyes or get out!" Gabriel yells from some where in that pile of stone angels.
A bright, white light forms in the centre, screams and the sounds of glass shattering fill the air as the light gets bigger and brighter. Sam and the Doctor hurry out of the room, not wanting to be smited.
Once the screams stop, Sam and the Doctor take it as an 'okay' to enter the room. The look around the room, shattered stone lies for meters on end. Gabriel stands in the middle of it all, looking as though he's about to pass out, his breathing is shallow and short as he drops his angel blade. Sam rushes to him to keep him from falling.
Sam half carries half drags Gabriel across the room, "where's the TARDIS?" He asks, "I remember the way just follow me," the Doctor instructs.
After walking through the empty hotel for about five minutes, they find the TARDIS.
Sam slumps Gabriel against the railing, the Archangel had passed out a while ago.
"Can we just go back to the hotel in the town he and I were in?"
The Doctor nods and pulls a leaver and a few buttons, the TARDIS screeches.
It was only now that Sam could see the purple, blue, yellow and black colours of Gabriel's face. The bright red of his wounds and the dark, wet of his shirt. Sam also takes the time to notice the blood on his own shirt, though he's not entirely sure who's blood it is.
"Can either of us never get into trouble," Sam half chuckles. "One has to always save the other," he whispers. "Sam," the Doctor taps him on the shoulder. "Here. If you need more help with the weeping angels, call this number. I'll come," he says, handing Sam a note. "I'm going to look into this angels business myself, but I feel like they have to be separate investigation," he adds. Sam takes the number and smiles, "I'll remember that."
"We're here, so you prob'ly should be getting off then," the Doctor says. "Thanks, Doctor, for the help, I think we may have had a break through," Sam says. "Hey, watch him, he's crazy," the Doctor winks, looking at the out-cold body of Gabriel. "Trust me, I know," Sam chuckles. "See you around Doctor," Sam smiles. He manages to pick up the Archangel (who was surprisingly light by the way) and leaves the TARDIS. The Doctor really had it on point. This was the room they were using.
The TARDIS screeches away as Sam drops Gabriel on to the closest bed. "Crazy person," he whispers. He walks off to go shower and tend to his bloodied clothes and wounds.

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
