Just as expected, Alaska is very cold in the winter. Im bundled up tightly in my thick jacket as we drive to the Denali's home in the middle of knowhere. They was kind enough to stock up on food for us humans though. The Denali's have a huge main house like the one the Cullens have. They was so kind as to give me and my dad seperate rooms while the Cullens keep their belongings in my room and Victoria keeps hers in my dads room.

I knew we arrived when my eyes landed on a beautiful house. It might even out do the Cullens with the beautiful snowy background. I saw 2 guys and 4 women standing outside the home with huge smiles on their faces. The only one I recognized was Laurent and Irina. I happened to meet Irina when Vicky was facetiming with Laurent and she popped in and said hey. Laurent is also doing so good with his animal diet and know has the golden eyes of a veggivore.

"Heeyyyy" one of the blondes said and wrapped their arms around me.

I accepted the hug with open arms as the other three also ingulfed me in a hug. Group hug with four women I don't know. Awesome!

"Im Carmen, this is Kate, Tanya, and Irina. Thats my husband Eleazar. You have already met Laurent briefly. Im so happy we finally get to meet you" the bubbly women, Carmen introduced.

"Its lovely to meet you all. Thank you for having us under such a short notice" I said greatfully.

Eleziar was next to step up after greeting Vicky, my dad, and the Cullens while the girls went over to greet them.

"Hello. As my wife already said my name is Eleziar. It is a pleasure to meet you" Eleazar said formally while shaking my hand.

"It is lovely to meet you too" I responded and shook his hand happily.

"Ah, we have ourselves a copy cat. Very rare. I have never met one in all my years. A shield too yet you don't use it" Eleazar said thoughtfully.

"Uh, what" I asked confused.

"Eleazar can sense what a humans special abilities would be if they was a vampire and he can see what a vampires abilities are" Carlisle explained to me.

"Thats so cool" I said astonished.

"I can electrecute people" Kate said nonchalantly.

"Oh. Oh. Do it to Edward" I said while clapping my hands.

"WHAT. OUCH" Edward shouted as Kate shocked.

"haha. We are going to be great friends" I told her while acknowledging the others.

My phone started ringing as everyone got into a conversation about my ability and Eleazar said my dad had the ability of tracker. I guess it comes with being a police officer for so many years.

"Lets get you all settled in" Carmen said being so motherly as she led us all into their beautiful home.

"Its beautiful" I complimented the beautiful room Carmen showed me.

"We worked hard to make it as homely as possible" Tanya informed me.

There was huge windows like the Cullens home and the walls was made of wood while they was lined with many book shelves full of many books.

"Thank you, I really appreciate all of this" I said and gave them all hugs.

As I was finishing up my hug with Irina I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket. I looked at it and saw that Bella was calling me and I had a text from 30 minutes ago from Angela. I sighed before excusing myself to answer the phone.

~Thoughts and talking on the phone~

"WHY THE HELL HAVE YOU NOT BEEN ANSWERING THE HOUSE PHONE" Bella shouted through the phone.

Dad and I failed to mention that we was staying in Alaska for awhile.

"For some reason the house phones not working and we haven't figured out why" I told her.

We can't risk her venturing to Alaska to find us.

"I need Edwards number. He hasn't given it to me yet and I miss him so much" Bella said sounding sad.

"I will not give out Edwards personal information like that. If you will excuse me I have another call coming in. I have school work to do and I will be busy for a couple weeks so don't bother me thank you" I said and hang up the phone.

"That was so smart saying the house phones not working" Rosalie told me from over on the bed.

"You was right when you said she sounded like a physopath" Kate whispered.

I then went to check and see what Angela said and make sure Genie's okay. Since its so cold in Alaksa so I appointed Angela and Jacob to be her godparents while im gone. Seth has also made the claim that he is the cool uncle.

Angela- Hey girl, so Emily knitted Genie a tiny hat and a scarf and I thought you would like to see it

Beth- Its amazing and the Denali's are such nice people and everything is so beautiful. Its very cold though

Angela- I hope everything goes well. Tell the Denali's I said hi.

Beth- I miss you and the pack and I will talk to you later

"Angela said hello to all the Denali's" I told everyone as I walked into teh sitting room where everyone was.

"Am I just not here" Rosie said offended.

"Rosalie, she texted you on the way here" I told her.

"Angela sounds like a sweet girl. You will have to bring her around so we can meet her" Carmen told us.

"Wait. Look at my snake" I showed everyone the picture of Genie in a scarf and tiny hat.

"Aww. Shes so cute" Irina cooed.

~Time Skip~

We spent the whole day socializing with the Denali's and for us knew people to get to know them. Laurent and Irina took Vicky out for her first animal hunt and everyone is still waiting for them to get back. Us girls was having girl talk while all the boys are having boy talk except my dad who was catching up on his much needed sleep. Strange I know but nobody needs to hear the strange conversations men have.

"I think we should discuss how Ms. Beth is a copy cat" Eleazar spoke up.

"Yeah. Nobody really explained that to me" I chimed.

"Well, a copy cat is a type of ability where you can sense someones abilities and copy them. Say you turned into a vampire and you decided that you wanted Edwards power of mind reading. You could copy it and have it when you wanted it but you could turn it off if need be. I would say you have a power like this do to having so many mates and you have learned to adapt to their needs" Eleazar explained.

"Thats strange but cool at the same time" I said.

"I think we should also discuss the mates problem" Tanya imformed us.

"What mates problem" Edward asked clearly not liking not being able to understand what was going on in Eleziars sophisticated head.

"You see. If there is a coven mate. There would have to be 8 mates to one single person. Sometimes you find the whole coven at one time or you find them one by one. Its typically known for a women to have 6 male mates and 2 females or a male to have 2 males and 6 females. I don't understand why it was like that but it is. So Beth, you still have two more mates out there and we think we know who one of them is" Eleziar explained.

The Cullens all looked shocked while I looked even more shocked.

"Wait, wait, wait, back up just a bit my dude, what do you mean there are more mates" Emmett asked.

"He means Beth has more mates dumbass" Kate snapped making everyone burst out laughing.

"I should have talked with you instead of just reading in on things. I didn't know there was supposed to be 8 mates" Carlisle said.

"Im much older than you my friend. Now you know" Eleziar offered with a small smile.

"Okay, you said you think you know who one of her mates is, who is it" Rosalie asked.

"Garrett the nomad. I know you have all met him before. I thought more into it and when Garrett stopped in to say hello a couple months back I knew he had to be one of her mates. Learning about her from what you all have told us let us know that Garrett would fit perfectly with her personality. He has also been alive for so long and has yet to find his mate, that can't be a coincedence" Eleziar told us.

Garrett. I never knew how much I liked that name until now. I was to caught up in my thoughts I didn't hear what else they was saying until Carmen piped in.

"-We have also invited him over for a get together since you all haven't seen him in awhile. He should be here around 10 or 11" Carmen told us.

"WHAT" I screeched seeing as it was 4 pm.

"What if he is also my mate. I can't just meet him and not have a heart attack. Im not ready" I panicked.

"Stop freaking out. If you are Garrett's mate, he will love you more than anything in the world. He can be a bit complicated sometimes but he is sweet nonetheless. He has been looking for his mate for a very long time" Carlisle explains to me sincerly.

"If your sure" I dismissed.

My dad is going to be in for a treat when he wakes up.

~Time Skip~

My father took it suprisingly well when he woke up and it might just be because he was still half aseleep

It is around 10 PM now and all the girls are dancing around the living room together screeching songs at th top of their longs. Beth Introduced everyone to 5sos for the first time. Lets just say she was considerably shocked when nobody heard of them.

"YOUNGBLOOD, SAY YOU WANT ME, SAY YOU WANT ME, OUT OF YOUR LIFE, AND IM JUST A DEAD MAN WALKING TONIGHT" All the girls screeched together at the ending of the song.

When Beth didn't know was that a certain vampire arrived and was looking at her like she was the most beautiful specimen in the world while he watched her dance and sing. Beth only noticed him when she whipped around after her last note and when their eyes locked she knew this was Garrett. Another one of her mates. He was a beautiful man with longish shaggy brown hair and a scruffy beard. He had a cool outfit with necklaces that made him look really hot.

"Hi" she giggled when she saw him.
