Serafina woke up in the arms of Loki and smiled to herself. For the first time in years, she had a peaceful sleep. She tried moving but soon realised someone was cocooned in her arms. She looked to see Peter, with his stuffed in her chest. She sighed happily, this was heavenly. While she laid there, she wondered where her other soulmates would be, not really knowing that they were right outside.

I just can't help but sigh helplessly. Our bond is getting stronger and its making want to be with her, especially after knowing she is in the room next to mine. Last night, I heard her moan and almost tore out my hair. As I walk towards the kitchen, I promise myself to clear things with her.
I froze as I heard a giggle, the sound was sweeter than honey. I turned around to find my mate laughing with Peter and Loki. She had a faint blush on her cheeks, pure joy written on her face. I looked at her longingly, for this is exactly what I want. She looked at me, and waved , "Hey Natasha, how are you today?"
I smile at her, but Loki cut me off, " Love Miss Romanoff is definitely unwell, for she was up all night last night" Bastard.
I wanted to wipe his smirk off. "Are you unwell? Do you have a fever or something?",my mate asked, now with a worried expression. "No no .... I'm fine.... It was just a stomach ache, but it's fine now",I lie.

As we all were eating our breakfast, Loki, Peter, Natasha and Serafina walked in. All of us straightened up at the sight of our mate. But then something weird happened, Serafina greeted everyone but it seemed that her words to me were quite forced. It was as if she didn't want to speak to me. It hurt, but I shrugged it off thinking that she was still sleepy. We started conversing amongst each other though Serafina still refused to look at me. It was if I've done something but what? After a few minutes of getting ignored, I snapped, " What the hell Sera ? Why are you ignoring me ? Did I do something to you? Yesterday we were fine, then why are you ignoring me today? I'm your soulmate then why the hell are you being so distant?" In the heat of the moment, I told her the very thing we were supposed to discuss slowly. But her reaction was unexpected.

Instead of getting confused or happy, her eyes went ablaze and she slammed her fist on the counter. "THANK FUCK !! FINALLY YOU REMEMBER BECAUSE YOU'VE BEEN ACTING AS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHO THE FUCK I AM . YOU WERE THE ONE WHO KEPT ACTING AS OF YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO I AM . I STOOD BY YOUR SIDE WHEN NO ONE ELSE DID BARNES. HOW CAN DO THIS TO ME?",she roared. At this every single one of us was confused. "Wait, you know that he is your mate? Then why didn't you accept him?",asked Loki. "Because that day at my shop, he pretended to not know me at all.....So I assumed he is thinking of moving on",she spat. "Wait, I met you at your shop for the first time." She froze. Suddenly she had tears in her eyes, " You don't remember me, James?So this was my final punishment." With that she started bawling her eyes out, sobbing loudly. We just stood there frozen, not really processing anything. She knew me before. That means I forgot about her as well. My heart shattered at this.
Peter stepped in, shaking Serafina and said, " Seraa, it's time. Let everything out. You are safe here. I didn't want to do it this way but Tony, Steve, Natasha, Pietro, King T'Challa are also your soulmates. Please just let go. This is weighing you down."

We all were stunned. Peter had revealed everything to her, now we can only wait for her response. She looked at me with fear in her eyes and then lowered her head, " You all should just reject me." It was as if the light had switched off from her eyes.
"Why would we do that?", Pietro asked.

"Because I am a monster. A freak. I hurt everyone around me. I hurt you as well.", she looked at me with pain in her eyes. "There is no way that you would hurt anyone knowingly. Please Seraa tell us what happened.", I plead.
"I did . I have hurt you in a way no one can. Betrayed you when you had no idea who I was. I have done things which can never be forgiven.",she mumbled, looking quite dull. "What could you have possibly done?", asked Clint, who I forgot was still with us. She looked at me one last time, before squeezing her eyes shut
"I was the one who killed your parents Tony!"
