The next day Serafina got up early to make a hearty breakfast for everyone. She thought that it would be a start for a much needed apology. She walked down to the kitchen and quietly started preparing for breakfast.

She decided to make something specially for the two soulmates who she wanted to apologize to particularly.

She knew Steve loved simple blueberry pancakes and Natasha loved her waffles.

After asking J.A.R.V.I.S. to inform everyone of the breakfast, she decided to walk to Natasha first. As she entered the room , she heard soft snores and chuckled. Keeping the plate aside, she sat on the bed and combed her fingers through Natasha's hair. "Darling wake up.......I've prepared a special breakfast for you." She opened her eyes and smiled, "You didn't have to do this sweetheart." "Shut up.....you've been skipping meals! This is my way of apologizing for the mess I made." Serafina quickly gave her a kiss and ran away. With the pancakes in her hand, she walked towards Steve's door and went inside. She knew Steve was at the gym and would return anytime now. While waiting she set up the tray and plates and tidied his room a little.

I was getting really bored of waiting so I decided to clean his room a little. Before I could do anything else I felt someone lift me up. "I must say..this is a beautiful sight to come back to darling.", Steve mumbles as he kisses down my neck. "Well, I was wondering if we could have breakfast together....Just the two of us.", I asked. "I would love to...but why were you cleaning my room? Is it that messy?" ,he chuckles. I shook my head, "No, I just got bored while waiting..."

As we ate our breakfast, Steve explained me about how they were worried about what other triggers I have and wanted to treat them so that they can't cause me any harm. A part of me felt so guilty for causing so much trouble, but the other part loved the feeling of being cared for.

"Oh by the way....My birthday is in a month. Which means I'll be getting my marks back." ,I inform him. He nods, smiling widely," I know love...All of us are so excited your soul marks."

We talk for a few more minutes, before parting ways. We both had to leave for our jobs. I got dressed, grabbed a banana for snacking and walked downstairs and saw Tony waiting for me with the others. As soon as he saw me he said, "Sera...you've met Happy before right? Well, he'll stay with you throughout the day as all of us will be going for a mission today. Before you object, just know that all of us are worried after what happened the last time. Happy is the only person I trust outside the team which is why I asked him. Please Seraa." I sighed, he was right even though I didn't want to admit it. I turn to Happy, "Do you know how bake cookies, Happy?" He smirked," You'll probably hand over the shop to me once you try my cookies." I kissed each one of my soulmate goodbye before leaving with Happy.

We argued throughout the ride about whose cookies would Tony like and didn't even realize when we reached the place. "We've arrived now. You want to admit you're wrong or keep up with the delusion? "he asked. I threw my banana peel at him before getting out.

The day went by peacefully, apart from the constant bickering between me and Happy. Soon it was time to close the shop and leave for home. As I was locking the door, I see Happy tense up and reach for his gun. "Did you hear that?", he asked. It was then I heard the voice.
