There was a few seconds of silence where no one really knew what to say. Tony was the first the snap out, and immediately called out to his A.I. and asked to show him all the information about Eric. As they read it, they couldn't help but worry about what they were seeing. The soulmates were worried for this man that could possibly hurt their mate. The rest of the avengers, while worrying about their friends, were scared to think of the damage that might be the result of this. Serafina felt a whirlpool of emotions rise up inside her. This man was from Wakanda which meant he could hurt T'Challa if he found out about her soulmates. That would also make him go after the rest of them. "Love , please calm down" ,she felt Loki grab her hand. It was then she realized that her magic had flared across the room, suffocating everyone except her soulmates.

Wanda's pov

This is bad.

If just the thought of that man going near her mates is making her magic flare this badly, I am pretty sure she'll burn him to crisp the moment she he comes in front of her.

On a second thought, that might not be such a bad thing.

"Sera, you and I start training from tomorrow onwards. If you want to hurt someone, you need to learn how to direct it towards them alone.", I tell her. "I think we should go to Wakanda first. We should speak to T'Challa as well. ", whispered Serafina. "She is right. If this man is from Wakanda then T'Challa should be alerted immediately.", stated Steve(mcu).

I saw Serafina get up and leave, without even looking back. Soon her "friends" got up to go behind her.

Fucking morons.

They really think I will allow them to wedge themselves between my friend and her soulmates(one of which happens to be my brother!!)

"Stop. This situation is bad enough, we don't need more dead bodies here. I'll go check on her. You all should find out more about this Eric person.",I sneered as I walked towards Sera's room. I entered her room to find her packing her bags. I closed the door behind us, just to make sure no one disturbs. I looked over at her stuff. She was packing quite heavily, meaning she was planning to stay there till her birthday. I smiled. "How are you feeling?" ,I asked. "You guys are seriously going to gossip without me?" ,came a voice from the other side of the door. "Come in Maria,and you could have just joined Wanda..", laughed Serafina. "Oh shut up!"

Soon the three of us were sprawled on the bed, shoving anything edible we could find in her room. "So what are you going to do about this situation? Cause this is quite a mess.", mumbled Maria, some cookie crumbs falling out of her mouth. "Maybe I'll start by asking you to EAT ON THE FLOOR BITCH. NO CRUMBS ON MY BED. I HAVE SEVEN SOULMATES, I NEED TO BE PREPARED EVERY SECOND AND YOU COME IN AND RUIN MY BED!? WHAT A JEALOUS BITCH!!",yelled Serafina and kicked her off the bed, making me giggle."But seriously....how do you feel about this situation?", I ask her. I am not only worried about her but my brother and my friends as well. She sighed, "I don't like this at all. On one hand, I have been forever grateful for both Diana and Steve(DC) for being so kind to me. I never once felt like a freak when I was with them. And Diana helped me with my powers a lot. Her family was nothing but kind and caring towards me. On the other hand, I am absolutely appalled that they could even suggest something like this. Steve(DC) and I were never really a thing...but I did care for Diana. I told them, when I ended everything, that I do intend to find my soulmate. I did not want to develop a deep relationship only to break it apart later. I had to look for Bucky as well. This bond is so sacred and precious to me. I could never even think of tampering it. That is why I never tried to bring my soul marks back and have been waiting for my birthday. I can't risk this. They are my everything. After everything that has happened, I just can't.." Her situation is just sad. She has not even gotten the chances to have some alone time with her soulmates and is already facing so many challenges. "Don't worry babe. We're all with you.",I hug her. "Me too",yells Maria as she drops herself on our backs.

We were interrupted by a knock on the door.

As the door opened, I was welcomed inside by Wanda. It was then that I noticed Maria and Serafina whispering to each other. Even such a trivial act flared my insecurities. "We were just leaving soooo, great timing I guess.", giggled Maria. I smiled, rather awkwardly, not knowing what to say.

As soon as they left, Serafina walked over to me and hugged me. "I've missed you ,James.", she whispered. I am amazed at how just a few words can make my heart explode. "I've missed you as well doll. Ever since your accident, we didn't get much time together.",i confessed.

"I know and it's all my fault. I've been creating fuck ups one after other. ",she mumbled. I picked her up and sat on the bed, "It's not you darling. Things are a bit difficult right now but they will get better. I'm sure of it. Tony and I were discussing this you know. After this man is taken care of, we'll go on a vacation. All of us. And then we'll spend time with our amazing soulmate. You'll get your marks by then as well , so I guess that will be an experience as well. ",I said. A smile made it's way on her face, "A vacation? Where ?" "Just about anywhere in the world.", I smirked, making her laugh. She then cups my face and plants a kiss square on the lips, shocking me.

"I love you James, I always have and I always will."

I almost died of a heart attack. Her words made me feel like all the years of torture were suddenly worth it. I would go through even more, just to have another moment like this. I smiled, almost teary eyed and kissed her nose,"I love you too Serafina, with all of my heart and soul. You are my everything ."

As we gazed into each other's eyes, just enjoying the beautiful moment in each other's arms, the A.I. spoke up and asked us to come to the living room. "Let's go. Thank you for cheering me up.",she smiled.

"T'Challa has been informed of our arrival. We'll being leaving this evening. I didn't go into detail but he knows its serious." ,announced Tony, the minute we walked into the room. He also invited Sera to sit next to him. As she next to him, I made sure to take the seat after her to almost block her from everyone else. It was pretty obvious that each one of us wanted Sera to not go anywhere near those two morons. "Have you packed your bags, sweetie. We can help you too if you want.",he kissed her forehead. "Don't worry, when we go on our vacation...I'll have all of you on my back and forth.", she giggled. Tony looked at me and chuckled, "Barnes you really can't keep a secret, can you. It was her birthday surprise dumbass. You couldn't think of anything else to impress her?" My cheeks turned scarlet(get it ?*-*) on its own accord, "I was trying to cheer her up asshole." "So what is the plan?",came an annoying voice from behind us. I rolled my eyes back eyes so hard, I could almost see my brain. These people need to be thrown out.

"Okay why haven't you left already? This is not a public property." yelled Tony.

"We will accompany you as well. This is our fight too. We want to protect her too.", said the man, as I refuse to call this bastard "Steve". "Yeah we understand. We'll send you a post card from our trip to inform you that she is safe. Now leave, thank you ",said Natasha.

"Look we understand that you might not like us but we care about Serafina as well and wish to she her safe. Let us be a part of this fight. We'll leave once we know the danger is gone.", said Diana firmly before turning towards us. "Sera please. Let us come with you.", she tried.

Serafina turned towards us and said, "It's up to you all. Decide amongst yourselves, I am going back to my room. And Diana ...I'm sorry, as much as want to spend time with you guys, I just can't... " With that she walked back to her, requesting everyone to give her some time alone.

We all glared at the two morons, not knowing what else to do.

Should I break my friendship with them now?

This isn't something we can get past easily. It involves way too many people.

Maybe I led them on? Maybe they suggested all of this because they thought I have no soulmate. I mean, technically everyone thinks that so I can't really blame them for that.

My train of thoughts was interrupted by a knock on the door.

I opened the door grumbling at whoever the person was ,"I thought I asked for some alone time."

"That is why I'm here sweetheart.", smirked Loki. Before I could form a proper reply, I was lifted and sat on Loki's lap as he sat on the bed. A hello was the only thing that I could come up with. Chuckling lightly, Loki began kissing behind my ear lobe, slowly inching downwards. "Not that I mind, but uhhh whyyy..",I whispered shakily. What a lame ass bitch. One kiss and I can't even form proper sentences. "I just wanted to make sure you are feeling alright.....and also to inform you that those two will be joining us on our way to Wakanda. We understand that they are concerned about you and also talked about the entire soulmate situation so don't worry about that either.",he explained. I nodded, sighing. "Can we cuddle for a few hours? I am sure once we land in Wakanda there will be a lot of chaos.",I ask. We cuddled for a few hours, before getting up and preparing for leaving.
