The moment you wake up, thank God for a new day in your life.

Before taking your meals, thank God for providing for your daily needs.

Before you step out of your doorway or head back home, ask God to keep you away from accidents, evil people, and other dangers.

Before you begin engaging in an activity, whether it be a duty at work, a school assignment, household chores, or other important occupations, ask God to guide you in carrying out your task.

Before you go to sleep, thank God for all of the good things that took place throughout the day. Tell Him about all of your worries. Ask Him for not only basic needs but also faith, knowledge, wisdom, and strength, so that you may be able to withstand or recover quickly from any difficult conditions.

Making prayer a regular part of your life is a decision you will never regret doing; for what greater blessing is there than the abounding grace, love, and protection of the Most High?

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,

in everything give thanks;

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
