I dropped the bag I had come with that was filled with my items of clothing and things on the bed. I just wondered how he got a building here on earth without me ever knowing.
Not that he would bother telling you anything.
I sigh as I unpack and put them in the wardrobe. The room was really big and capacious. A big king-sized bed and big furniture. It had a TV scaled on the wall and a lot of meniscus lights and led lights of red which I didn't like at all. It made me scared.
As I emptied, I noticed the colours of the wall. It was painted cream white and black levelling the furniture. I sigh as I continued to unpack and put them into the bathroom. I wasn't really shocked to see how beautiful the interior design was. Synn had a good taste in buildings and designs.
But it only meant we were going to stay alone in the big house. I shook my head, troubled. The door was thrown open and a very angry Synn managed to tilt in. I flinched in shock as I look at his wobbly figure that brought in a lot of recollections. Memories about papa and when he got drunk at night and would come and beat mama.
As I stare at his figure, the tears that I had once managed to stop came weaving in. I had to look away unless I would cry and feel like a baby in front of him.
His eyes scan the room before landing on my figure. I blushed feeling butterflies swimming in my tummy and that would explode anytime from now. I turn to finish unpacking, jittering under his stare. It was so severe that it bothered me.
Done, I decided to explore the house, again. I found out it had a library and a swimming pool. Four cars and one limo. Plus, we weren't alone. We had three maids, one butler and one chef. And 3 drivers along with a few men, more of bodyguards. I sanctioned those men as few of them in hell. I was quite shocked to find out Synn allowed them to come.
Currently, I was outside enjoying the morning sun. Enjoying fresh air and not the suffocated display of people being tormented. The birds were twittering noisily and my hair was let down falling straight down at my back.

I didn't just know what to do. Even after being back on earth, I still felt that desolation and anxiousness. It felt bad knowing you have a lot ahead of you but you can't just take a peek and see what. It's terrible that I live freely in this house but still felt trapped. I was 17 and still felt like I was 12. My tummy was building with pain as I thought about it.
Suddenly, I felt a presence beside me. Thinking it was Synn, I turn around but stood dismayed. It wasn't but...Owel?
Did he come? Why? When? I broke a small smile as I look up at him. He just stared at me before leaving. Shhh..but don't tell him he's weird and scary.
I giggle at my thought as I stood up to go inside but what caught attention flattered me. I look up to see Synn but he wasn't alone. He had someone talking to him and he was...smiling?
It was really rare to see him smile. He looked wholly handsome it made me cracked up. I tried to see who he was talking with but was impossible. The person had his front-facing Synn and back facing my line of sight. They were talking upstairs on the balcony.
It's good he's with someone who's making him smile.
I walk back inside and decided I was going to try to watch something. I've never really watched a film or movie before. I didn't know how to turn on the TV or even work out the remote control. I look at the screen in wonder and bewilderment. How was I going to watch a blank screen?
"TV, please switch on." I rationally begged. I don't know how I was even doing this or talking to an object. It felt weird just apprehending. I giggle at the idea and tried again.
"On! Now!" I chuckle and suddenly find it interesting. Linda was talking to a blank screen. What an achievement.
"Never knew you were this insane." I heard a chilling voice. I turn around to meet eyes with Synn's. He was with someone I didn't recognize. But they looked really handsome.
A blush covered my cheeks. How long were they standing there? I was blessed with a second embarrassment. I turn to drop the remote control on the couch and run my hand through my hair, feeling slightly uneasy.

The both of them just continued to watch me until Synn cleared his throat. "This is Silver." Synn introduced not hiding an attachment of sourness in his voice. I gave a curt nod to Silver. He had a nice name.
I saw a smirk plastered on Silver's lips as he looks at me looking me over. I shifted on my spot not feeling easy with the way he was looking at me. "He's going to be staying with us," Synn announced strutting toward me and plop a seat exactly where I was sitting.
"That's where I was sitting," I said fording my arm on my chest. Synn threw out a chuckle. "I don't give a fuck." He said.
I pout. I decided to take another spot to seat down. I stroll to another spot on the couch and sat on it feeling resentful. I was surrounded by two handsome men and I felt out of place.
Are immortals always this fine?
"She's cute." Silver said, running his hand through his hair. I opened my eyes broadly at him and frown. "I'm not cute."
"Sure." He chuckled. I felt he didn't mean that and was presumably making fun of me. I huff and roll my eyes.
"Why were you talking to a blank screen?" Silver asks. My cheeks redden in shame as I turn away.
I heard Silver laugh. "For someone as small as you, you do blush a lot." He explained.
I couldn't agree less. I'm surprised I'm not out yet. Not my fault. Blame Synn for that.
I glance at Synn quietly to see Synn smirking, looking proud of something. I just hope he doesn't throw fits anymore. I stare longer at Synn admiring him. He looked so carefree like he wasn't the devil. He looked so calm.
I couldn't believe Synn was mated to me.
"You make me feel like I'm not handsome." I heard Silver's voice utter. "You are literally staring at Synn who's looking proud of that. Don't be full of yourself just because you have good looks." Silver said sticking out his tongue as he moves to grab the remote control.
I was sure my neck and cheeks were heated as Synn turn and stare at me. His lips move up to a smirk and I immediately stand up and leave to get myself water.
I drop the cup on the counter and return back to where I was sitting. Synn was no longer there leaving just silver and me. Good news! He had the TV turned on but was watching something boring. I couldn't understand what they were saying.
"What's this?" I pointed to something a man was holding in his hands as he spoke. It looked like the shape of a hammer.
"You don't know what a microphone is?" Silver asked, amusement in his voice. I nodded my head, shame engulfing me entirely.
"You use it to talk or make speeches. Synn has one here." Silver said. My eyes twinkle in excitement as I smile and turn back to watch. I wonder if Synn would allow me to use it. It looked interesting.
"Where's Synn?" I questioned already feeling comfortable around Silver. He wasn't Synn which made it twice better.
"Missing daddy already?" Silver smirked.
Daddy? Synn my dad? What a joke!
"Synn's not my daddy." I shot back. "I just want to know where he is." I continued.
"I can't tell you." He said with his shoulders slouched. I almost felt like crying at that sentence. Why couldn't he tell me?
"Why?" I asked.
"Because I'm not allowed to. Just watch this." He said moving to change the channel. I look at him as he does so and a new channel was switched.
It had a mouse on the screen talking and waving at the screen with a smile. I smile at this.
Cute mouse.

This is my first story here on RRL and it's becomming one of the things I look forward to working on each day. As of June 2020, the story description has been updated (now that the characters have told me what was actually going on this author thought it prudent to update this) . Updates will be sporatic as i have time to juggle real life with writing. You the readers have become an integral part of the story helping to decide how things will progress, so enjoy the story and please leave a review or rating so this author can continue to improve the story. New chapters coming soon with edits to existing ones in process As a side note, I wish I could add a science tag to this. While this is still fiction, I have been incorporating real life scientific theories and explanations for how things could be *plausibly* explained. (No, I will not lecture on these points, but they are added to author notes) ~badw0lf
