I felt the air being cut out of my lungs. I close the door of the bathroom as I glide down on the floor on my feet. I curl myself into a ball and bring my chin to rest on my flexed knee as I rock myself back and forth.
His teeth!
They were the scariest thing I'd ever seen. I'd been lying if I said I didn't want to touch the tip of the tooth even though it was a deadly risk. I remember his eyes gleaming when he glanced at me with those pair of teeth.
I suck in a harsh breath, the faint tears jogging down my cheeks. Every night I'd dreamed of something happening but I wouldn't know what it was. Today explained everything.
I didn't know how long I was swaying on my feet but by the time I took to realization, I blinked away the acrid tears. Taking another thick breath, I stand up on my feet dreading this day.
I walk up to the orbicular mirror that was draped on the bathroom wall. When I see my face, I quailed.
I looked horrible.
I slowly bring out a hairband from the lower cabinet and tie my hair into a rumpled bun with my lazy hands. I drag some toothpaste on the surface of my brush and pull it into my mouth to brush my teeth.
Below my eyes laid bags. Heavy dark bags. I understood by now why Abriana was asking why I looked pale. I was already wishing this night was far wasted but everything that has been going on in my life was exhausting.
I spit out the paste into the sink and proceed to gaggle my mouth with water flowing from the tap. I gaggle once again with mouthwash before closing the tap and dropping the toothpaste into the small cup.
Sharp-edged tooth.
I shiver when the random image pops up into my head. What feared the most was going back inside the room. I get out of my soiled articles of clothing and draw myself into the half-pint shower. I run open the small tap and immediately, the cool but warm water touches my back, warming me up.
I run my face with my tired hands, feeling like my body was being mashed under heavy rocks. I was literally tired of everything that was currently going on in my life. The week has been a crazy experience but what was even crazier was this night.
Spending not less than 15 minutes, I come out of the bathroom and tie my white fluffy towel around my wet body. My hair was soaking wet with the tip of my hair dropping slightly with water drops.

I come back to face the mirror and scan myself. The bags under my eyes were not that visible anymore due to the hot bath that I'd just taken and my face, in general, looked tired.
Not much of a difference.
I sigh and began snacking on my bottom lip. I'd just remembered that I didn't bring any clothes along with me into the bathroom when I rushed in. My cheeks flushed in the absurd realization. The only thing that was between me was my skimpy towel.
I didn't want to go outside of the bathroom and face Synn in this exposed mess. I didn't like being exposed in front of anyone just like that but at the same time, I needed my PJs. I had to get them from my closet.
My stripped legs were open to view and cold breeze. The white fluffy towel only covered my mid-thigh allowing my legs and half of my thigh to show.
I finally build up the courage to quickly rush in there and grab my PJs from the closet and rush back in. As simple as it sounds.
I open the door by its handle, popping my head from the small space that was created. I wasn't able to see if anyone was in the room but I make out for sounds. When I didn't hear any trace of sounds, I open the door widely and travel into the room.
The swift air hit me in an instant as I just stood there in the white light towel. I reach the closet and draw out one of my PJs and quickly rush inside, thanking God.
Synn wasn't in the room and honestly, I'm glad he wasn't. The last thing I needed was for him to see me in my towel. But if he wasn't in the room, that means he had gone out or maybe he was downstairs.
I quickly throw on my PJs, removing my damp hair from inside the clothes by flicking it out. I take out a brush and brush my damp hair. I was going to let it air dry and just go to sleep.
I go out of the bathroom that currently smelled like hand wash and perfume. The windows were slightly opened and still, the cold breeze was harsh.
I climb on the blue bedsheet too tired to even think at the moment. My head was hurting from all the necessary crying. I place my head on one of the pillows, dragging the thick sheet of the blanket to cover my body up to my chin.
Blood littered all his face down to his chin.

I quiver remembering such a horrific image in my head. I still wasn't able to add up to what he meant. How did he get blood? What did he do?
I shudder on the bed, swamps of thoughts consuming my mind. I close my eyes and in one drift, I lay down asleep.

I wake up to be suddenly met by the warm orange sun that was illuminated inside the room. The cloud was embellished with the cordial colour of sky blue and fleecy white clouds. My head immediately felt heavy and then it hit me.
A pang of headache.
I groan softly bringing my hands to rub my eyes to get rid of the blurriness that clouded my vision. The sun was warm, hitting my skin like shades of colours.
I open my mouth and yawn, the stink of my breath didn't smell bad this time. I scan the room, taking in everything in the room. The chirping sound of the baby birds that flew with their parents going to stay on the tree. The slow ticking of the alarm clock.
Shriek!!
Just at the corner of the room was Synn leaning onto the wall, his long fingers typing on his phone. I try reading his facial expression but what comes out of it was a blank one.
He looked angry while typing making my heart thump. I slowly get out of bed, thinking back into last night. My eyes felt dry from me crying last night, my nose tickling. Today felt like a new day to start something new and move on. I had a crafty plan in my head and one of them was to spend my time with Abriana and Anna. I also could go outside and explore the environment.
"You're awake." I hear Synn's raspy voice greet. I don't reply and just adjust the diffused pillows on the bed knowing he knew I heard him.
From my side vision, I see him lean away from the cream wall and walk up to where his laptop was. His built tall frame was all dressed up in a black and grey t-shirt with black-framed jeans.
I run my hand through my wavy and slightly damp hair that unsuccessfully wasn't able to hold still throughout the night.
"Get dressed. We're going out this morning with Abriana." His cold but calm voice announces. I glance at him and slightly nod so he knows I heard him. I didn't want him to think I was ignoring him but from my side, I was...in a way. I just wanted to distance myself from him a bit and get things wrapped around my head. With everything he's shown me yesterday, I don't think I can act normal around him anymore.
I walk up to the charcoaled closet and bring out a blooming gown and underwear. I bit my lips noticing that I only had a few panties and three bras, one being a sports bra. I needed to get more.
I close the wardrobe by the handle and walk into the bathroom, closing the door after me. I walk up the white quartz sink and pick up my brush, sweeping my teeth.
I throw the recent cloth I picked on the closed toilet lid, running the warm hot water down. I jump into the shower, my mind thinking to what today was going to be like. I wonder where we are going. I squeeze some body lotion into my sponge, washing my body immediately. Even from the cold breeze last night, I was still soaked in perspiration.
I run my hand down my black locks, shuffling some pad of shampoo onto my palm to start washing. My hair was starting to get crimped from the cold exposure of the breeze.
Throwing the white towel around my body, I quickly pull on my pant and bra. It's a little weird my breast had grown bigger during the past few months but I still liked it. I throw on my floral gown around my body, glancing at myself in the mirror.
The gown was just a little short reaching above the cap of my knee. I brush my hair quickly to get rid of the excess water and to allow air to get through.
I walk out of the room and glance at Synn who was busy on his laptop. He looked so different than last night. Like he didn't have sharp-edged teeth or didn't have blood running down his chin yesterday.
"Go down for breakfast. I'll meet you down shortly." He says without glancing up from his laptop.
"What about you?" I find myself asking. I rarely see him eat even though he ate raw meat/food and cupcakes.
"Don't feel like it." He says in a monotone, coldly. I look down at my fingers and play with my nails bed. I had the urge to see him eat but I just let it fly.
I grab lipgloss and line it up on my lips, smacking my lips when I was done.
