Jays POV:
God I love P. E, especially since I'm the coach's favorite. After we picked teams I was hit by a very delicious sent. It was chocolate and mint, I looked around to find were the smell came from. Mate my wolf growled and there was tiny. The small boy was shaking and everyone was laughing and pointing at the tackle he just had.
Gabe looked as if he was going to cry and I looked down at his frail leg. It was bleeding a bent the wrong way. He tried to get up but failed and let some tears slip from his beautiful blue eyes. I ran towards the small boy and picked him up bridal style. The coach was from my pack and knew I was the next alpha so he didn't question me.
"W-where are y-y-you taking me?" My mate whimpered loudly as I set him in the back seat of my car. "Don't worry I'm just taking you to the hospital to make sure your leg is ok." I said gently. His eyes widened and shook his head. "N-no I can't go t-to the hospital, I don't h-have enough m-money!" He bawled and something under his hat moved. "Hey it's alright no need to cry, I can take you to my pack doctor ok?" He started to calm down and nodded.
I hopped in the car and started towards my pack house.
Gabes POV:
No, no, no, no, no, no! They are going to find out, what if they hurt me? They might sell me to slavery! Ok calm down maybe if I shift I can run away. No that's stupid maybe I can...
I was pulled out if my thoughts when my door opened. Jay gently picked me up and walked inside the huge cabin. He walked up the stair case and into a room with a lot of medical supplies. The werewolf laid me on the bed and sat down in the chair next to me. I was still shaking and played with my fingers.

Soon who I assume is the doctor walked in and grabbed a clip board. "Alright I was told your leg is hurt and by the looks of it is broken." I gulped as he came closer and gently picked it up and pressed on places. I yelped loudly and Jay surprisingly growled and his eyes were shining gold. The doctor chuckled and out my leg back down. "Definitely a break it is a clean break so it is still in place and not disconnected. I will put you in a hard cast and you will need to be off of it for three months." And with that he grabbed the bandage and started to gently wrap the wet material around my fractured leg.
Tears started to drip down my eyes I don't what I'm gonna do I have no money, barley a house, no food, not a bed I have nothing. Once the doctor was done he gave me pain meds and walked out. Sobs erupted from my throut and I covered my face with my hands. I felt warms arms wrap around me and pull me close. I sobbed into their chest and held on for dear life.
"Hey shhh it's alright your fine." Jay whispered and rubbed my back. I told him what was happening in my life for some reason threw my sobs. He tensed and I finally stopped crying. "I'm sorry." I said quietly and pushed him away. "Gabe would you like to live here?" He asked sweetly and looked at me. "You d-don't have to d-do that." I said and wiped the remaining tears off my cheeks.
He cupped my face in his hands and softly kissed my lips....

UPDATES TUES/THURS after chapter 5 Cover art by Tumblr User: @pigeon-princess This book features characters that are related to in many ways to my other novel "Grimoire". While both stories are their own stand alone series, Sun God's Corruption will add a good amount of depth to Grimoire, and Grimoire shows the unfoldings of the world that will eventually come from the events in Sun God's Corruption. I reccomend reading them both interchangably.
