《The Devil's Dance》7

It's Friday night and I am in the dance studio practicing. Sometimes Liv comes with me to start and stop my music as needed and give me positive feedback even when I feel like I'm doing a terrible job. She's the world's best cheerleader. Tonight, however, she had other plans. So I'm alone, which is okay. The lights are dim because I hate how bright the overheads can be. I'm dancing, watching myself in the mirror. I fling myself into the air and as I'm landing the door shuts. It distracts me and I fall. I turn around furiously to see who interrupted me when the room is clearly marked occupied. Before I can make out who it is in the shadows, I hear her voice.
"Sorry," Miss Bell says stepping into the light, "sometimes the janitorial staff marks the room as occupied when they clean and forget to change it."
The anger I was feeling quickly subsides. "No, it's fine. That was going to shit anyway." I confess the routine I had in my head was a lot harder to execute than I imagined.
"Potty mouth." Miss Bell says. She extends her hand to help me up
I blush. She was right. I did curse a lot. So much so I didn't realize I just did it. I take her hand and stand up. "Sorry." I look down at my feet, still blushing.
If I'm not mistaken I believe I hear Miss Bell chuckle. It was very soft and almost sound like she was amused.
"Well," Miss Bell says, "show me." She takes a seat and crosses her legs ever so elegantly.
"I-I'm sorry?" I stammer. I was nowhere near ready to perform in front of people, nonetheless Miss Bell.
"A college student who has devoted her Friday night to rehearsal must have something amazing up her sleeve, no?" She says.

"Well..." I hesitate. "Why are you here on a Friday night?" I ask timidly.
She raises an eyebrow. "To dance of course."
We didn't get to see Miss Bell dance very often, not a full routine anyway. She would tell us or show us what we were supposed to do in parts and pieces but never in it's entirety.
"I'll show you mine if you show me yours." I say. I'm not sure what's coming over me but I wouldn't normally speak to Miss Bell this way. It could be the exhaustion or the intimate secluded setting but it is certainly a newfound boldness.
"That's fair, but you first." She says.
I nod and take my place. She starts the music for me and I dance to my heart's content. Swaying and moving as gracefully as I know how. Still I mess up. Miss Bell stands and stands behind me.
"May I offer some tips?" She asks.
"Yes." I say quickly.
She places a hand on my back and one on my arm positioning me into a pose.
"Keep your back straight." She bends down and points my toes. "And your toes pointed. Especially when you're coming out of that second spin."
"Yes ma'am. Thank you." I say.
"Again." She instructs. I feel like I'm in class for the second time again. I do it again anyway. From start to finish. Giving it my all. It's not everyday someone gets a one on one with Miss Bell. Her advice helps. It flows so much better than before. I finish, breathless but proud.
"Perfect." She says.
I sit on the floor. "Thanks. Your turn."
She smiles and put her music on. It's a sad and sensual melody. Very broody. Dramatic. She dances beautifully. She's magestic. Even the way her hair moves along with her is memorizing. I find myself lusting for her even more than usual. Wanting her in the most carnal ways. A deep-seated craving. Her routine comes to an end and I start to clap. She smiles a genuine smile and drops to curtsy.

"You're so amazing." I say standing to my feet.
"Thank you Katia."
I step closer to her. There's a certain lure to her. It's magnetic and I can't help myself.
She eyes me skeptically but doesn't say anything. For a moment we are both frozen. Stuck. Eye to eye and silent. I wonder if she can feel it too. If she's thinking of undressing me and making me hers the way I'm thinking about totally submitting myself to her every whim. Suddenly the door opens and breaks our connection.
"Kat?" Olivia says. She walks closer and realizes who I'm standing next to. She smiles as me.
"Olivia." I say warningly. She has a knack for embarrassing me in front of my crushes.
Olivia extends her hand to Miss Bell. "I'm Olivia. You're Miss Bell, Kat's dance instructor, right?"
Miss Bell smiles. "I am." They shook hands.
"Okay well I'll leave you two to it. See you Monday, Katia. Olivia nice to meet you." Miss Bell said before leaving us standing there.
"Bye Miss Bell." I call out after her. She waves with her back and perfectly sculpted ass still facing us.
Olivia quietly mocks me. "Byeeeee miiisss bell!"
I shove her when we're alone. "Shut up."
"She is hot." Olivia said. "I see why you're so obsessed."
"I'm not obsessed. Besides she's not just beautiful. She's smart and an amazing dancer."
Olivia shoots her eyebrow up suspiciously. "Okay."
I sigh. "Let's get out of here."
Olivia grabs my bag for me and we walk back to our apartment and get settled in.
"Kat?" Olivia says walking into my bedroom.
"Yes?"
"Do you think we could sleep together tonight?" She asks shyly.
"Sure." We've slept together a hundred times. Why is she being so weird about it? I scoot over in my bed. She gets in and slides under my blankets.
"Goodnight K." She says.
I chuckle. "Goodnight O."
